Train stalls on a bridge near Sohawa
RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi bound Margalla Express is reported to have stalled in an unpopulated area near Sohawa, Geo News reported.
Margalla Express, which left for Rawalpindi from Lahore, got into trouble after its engine failed while crossing a bridge near Sohawa.
It has been near three hours since engine failure but Pakistan Railway authorities have not yet been able to send a locomotive to pull the broken train out of trouble.
A passenger told Geo News over the phone, the train suddenly dragged its wheels on a bridge over a dry drain river with deep ravines on either side causing panic among passengers.
