KARACHI: Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), chief Altaf Hussain has announced that the MQM would soon hold a historic public meeting in Sukkur.
He said this while talking to the members of the zonal committee of MQM Sukkur Zone on telephone, said a statement issued by MQM here on Monday.
The date of the public meeting would be announced after consultation with the Co-ordination Committee, Interior Sindh Tanzimi Committee, and zones.
Altaf Hussain said that the MQM workers of Sukkur had rendered unforgettable sacrifices for the party, and they had faced challenges and hardships with courage and determination.
The announcement of public meeting in Sukkur sent a wave of jubilation among the MQM officials, and they assured Altaf Hussain that they would not disappoint him.
Altaf Hussain directed the Rabita Committee to give full cooperation to the Sukkur zone for holding the public meeting. (APP)
