19 killed in Syrian army’s 4th day bombing Homs



DAMASCUS: Syrian army continued bombing the historical city Homs for the fourth consecutive day killing 19 more civilians. 

Ali Baba colony of the city of Homs continued to be bombed by the Syrian army for the forth consecutive day, resulting in acute shortage of food, medicine, water and other necessities of life threatening to a great human crisis, media representatives said.

Army raids and firings have also wounded 7 persons in Damascus, while one hit by bullets rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Those traders and shopkeepers, who had kept their outlets closed on the call of a strike against the government, were tortured barging into their houses. Security forces have threatened that strict action would be taken against all those observing strike. Several shopkeepers were beaten and forced to open their shops.

Despite arrival of the Arab League observers in Syria, the army continued bloodshed of the innocent citizens, which resulted in the death of 19 persons including three children on Sunday.
