SA adopts resolution against honour killing

KARACHI: The Sindh Assembly on Tuesday unanimously passed a resolution against Karo-Kari (honour killing).

The resolution was moved by Pakistan Muslim League – Functional MPA Nusrat Sehar Abbasi.

In the resolution it is demanded to approach Federal Government to treat Karo-kari murders as culpable homicide under section 302 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan said there is need to abide by the law besides removing flaws from it. (Geo Urdu/PPI)
