Never begged for developmental project: Nawaz



LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif said his government never borrowed money for the numerous developmental projects they undertook, Geo News reported on Saturday.

While addressing engineering students in Lahore, he brought up all the problems Pakistani’s go through owing to the socio-economic crises, lack of infrastructure and poor health facilities. 

Nawaz asserted they have contributed a great deal to the development of Pakistan, and that without begging in front of anyone. 

Adding to it, he appreciated Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif for his endeavors in the field of education. He said that the students of Danish Public School are the children of poor villagers and laborers. They are a witness that PML-N government has and will contribute to the change in all over Pakistan and not only in Punjab. 

He also announced that Shahbaz Sharif intends to donate 1oo,ooo laptops in the university students, and with the arrival of the next budget they plan to distribute 200,000 more laptops. 

Addressing the youth he said, ‘You’re the leaders of tomorrow who will bring about the change in the country.’ 

Talking about the importance of law and order in the society he said, ‘There should be a rule of law and supremacy of justice in Pakistan. This is the real change we worked for when we did a long march to restore the judiciary.’

Summing up his address he said, ‘Dictators have only contributed to destroying Pakistan. Today, let’s pledge that we will follow the golden rules laid out by our beloved Quaid and bring about a positive change in the society.’
