Terror outfits involved in bank heists: Malik
KARACHI: Interior Minister Rehman Malik Wednesday said that terror outfits including banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi were involved in the recent bank heists in the country, Geo News reported.
Addressing a press conference, after holding a meeting with the presidents of commercial banks here at State Guest House, the Interior Minister said in case a security guard found involved in the decoity, case would be filed against his security company.
He said a five-member headed by Director General National Bureau committee had been constituted to come up with ways to ensure banks' security and put checks on heists.
It has been made mandatory to submit a training certificate for each guard with the Interior Ministry, the Minister told the reporters.
He said FIR would be lodged against the CEO and chief security officer of the security company whose guard is found involved in the decoity.
