KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari has said that government would not do anything against the sovereignty of the country, Geo News reported.
President said this while talking to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain over the phone.
On the other hand Altaf Hussain said that country cannot afford to have another confrontation in the given circumstances, adding it was imperative for all of us to deem the institutions entrusted with national security with due awe and reverence.
He urged all the institutions to devise strategies in the broader interest of the country.
