PESHAWAR: Eight people were injured when a powerful blast ripped through Shaikhabad market, Geo News reported quoting Edhi Welfare Trust sources on Wednesday.
The injured were rushed to Lady Reading Hospital.
Several shops caught fire after the blast that took place near Nasir Mohmand hospital, police sources said.
Rescue efforts are underway while fire-fighters are at work to bring the fire under control, sources said.
