Eva Longoria's movie opens today!

Eva Longoria is starring in the romantic comedy Over Her Dead Body in theaters today! The story stars Eva as a bride named Kate who accidently gets killed on her wedding day. When her ex-fiance Henry (Paul Rudd) falls in love with a psychic, Eva haunts them to try to keep them apart. What ensues is a hilarous story about love and letting go and Eva plays the annoying Kate perfectly.

Eva competed at IMTA in 1998 and had 38 agencies and managers interested in representing her! In an article in the February issue of Self Magazine which Eva was on the cover of, it reads : "By eighteen, Longoria Parker had won her first competition, and five years later, she was named Miss Corpus Christi USA. Her title earned her a trip to L.A. to compete in a modeling and talent competition [IMTA]. Eva says,"I was about to start grad school for a master's degree in exercise science but I called my mom from L.A. and asked her to send my stuff to Hollywood, rather than to school. She was like,"What?" And I said,"I'm going to be an actress."

Eva's breakthrough role is as the beautiful Gabrielle Solis on the award-winning Desperate Housewives on ABC (now in its fourth season). She has her own charity, Eva's Heros, which helps disabled children and adults with the various challenges they face. She puts her star power to work in the PSA's and other cancer awareness and education programs.

This weekend look for Eva starring in a new H-E-B television ad that will run during the Super Bowl. The ad debuts on Sunday and will run throughout the year. Be sure to get to theaters now to see Eva in what promises to be a funny and entertaining film!!
