Adrianne Palicki is on Fire in Friday Night Lights!

IMTA alum Adrianne Palicki has been receiving much praise for her role as Tyra Colette in season two of the hit NBC series Friday Night Lights! This amazing show received a Peabody Award, three Emmy nominations and won two, one of which was for Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series in it's very first season. It was also nominated for awards by the Image Awards and the Teen Choice Awards! Entertainment Weekly raved about the show: " the fantastic football drama ...will win cheers from diehards and new fans alike". The show is about a small town in Texas, called Dillon, where only one night matters: Friday Night. It uses this small town backdrop to deal with contemporary problems that many Americans are facing. The story
revolves around all the players, coaches, students, families and towns people, how important it is that the town's high school football team, the Dillon Panthers win, the conflicts that arise between everyone, and the excitement it creates. Tonight's epsiode will reveal whether the football team can still win without their lead player, Smash, who is suspended for the rest of the season.
Adrianne competed at IMTA in New York City in 2001 and was signed by an agent. During an interview with the IMTA Video Crew, she said,"It was amazing. I love IMTA. I'm so sad it's over." She went on to work in both film and television. Her first feature-film was 7 Mummies, she starred as Judy Robinson in the television pilot The Robinsons: Lost in Space, and she had a much larger role in the feauture film Popstar. Her television credits include guest appearances on Smallville, CSI, North Shore, South Beach and Supernatural. She was recently named one of Maxim magazine's Hot 100 of 2007 list.
