Ashton Kutcher's New Show Opportunity Knocks!

Tune in tonight to see IMTA alumni Ashton Kutcher's new television show Opportunity Knocks! This one-hour game show airs on ABC at 8:00 pm ET and Ashton is the executive producer!! This new series quizzes family members on how well they know each other. The show is hosted by J.D. Roth and he travels across the country knocking on doors and asking trivia questions based on the family members’ lives. To win, the families must prove they know each other inside and out by correctly answering various questions!!!

Ashton recently launched a web series called Blah Girls. This cutting-edge show is an animated series which is about celebrity news and gossip. Check out Blah Girls Blog celebrity blog for all the latest news delivered in a unique interactive environment! The Blah Girls are scheduled to to air episodes on Mondays and Thursdays on Blahgirls.com. It will also be hosted on YouTube, Yahoo Videos, MySpace video, Hulu and most other video hosting sites.

Ashton Kutcher competed at IMTA at the New York, 1997 Convention where competed with another IMTA alum and superstar Josh Duhamel. Ashton won Most Sought After Male Model, signed with Next Models and didn't even return home to Iowa before appearing in several fashion shows for that season's Men's Fashion Week! His agent submitted him for an upcoming Fox comedy called Teenage Wasteland, the title was later changed to That 70's Show and Ashton was cast as the lovable Kelso! He started producing shows, such as Punk'd, Beauty and the Geek and Miss Guided. His movie and television roles include The Guardian, Dude, Where's My Car? which also stars fellow IMTA alum Seann William Scott, The Butterfly Effect, A Lot Like Love, Guess Who and What Happens in Vegas. Ashton was recently featured in a huge international advertising campaign for Nikon.

Haley Bennett in Arcadia Lost


IMTA alum Haley Bennett is in a new film called Arcadia Lost. According to the Hollywood Reporter, "Nick Nolte, Haley Bennett and Carter Jenkins face a Greek holiday tragedy in the indie coming-of-age-drama Arcadia Lost." Bennett and Jenkins play step-siblings whose first family trip is cut short by a car crash. With their parents dead, the stunned teens roam the Greek countryside and befriend an expatriate vagabond (Nolte) who leads them to a mysterious spiritual ceremony. Director Phedon Papamichael, best known as the cinematographer of Sideways and Walk the Line, is filming David Ariniello's screenplay in his home country with producer Kelly Thomas."

Haley competed at the 2001 IMTA Convention where she received attention from the agents and managers who were there scouting for new talent. She is starring in the upcoming thriller The Haunting of Molly Hartley with Chace Crawford. The expected release for this film i- October 31st. Haley is in post production on the upcoming romantic comedy Marley and Me co-starring with Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson. She was featured in the May issue of Nylon magazine's "Young Hollywood Issue" and was named "The Future of Film" along with thirty other rising actors and actresses. She has starred in the wildly popular Music and Lyrics where she acted as well as sang.

Eva in Desperate Housewives is Back!!!!!

After a long wait, the much anticipated new season of Desperate Housewives starring IMTA alum Eva Longoria is here!!! Sunday, September 28 will start Season Five for Eva on ABC’s hit Desperate Housewives (9pm ET). While details surrounding the hit series are usually scarce, it was announced that this season has been placed five years in the future after the events of Season Four. Eva's character, Gabrielle—a former model—has become a mother, a change that requires less time in the makeup chair for Eva which she likes!!

Eva competed at IMTA in 1998 and had 38 agencies and managers interested in representing her! She signed with a manager she had met at the convention. Eva told Pageantry Magazine that “The first day they signed me I had four auditions...It was pretty fast.” Eva is currently appearing in a new ad campaign for the computer giant Microsoft!! Over her career she has been in numerous magazines, movie and television shows and even has her own charity called Eva's Hero's!

Season Premiere of Dexter!

Sunday night, September 28th is the start of new season of the Showtime drama “Dexter” which stars two IMTA alumni: Dominic Janes and Brandon Bass! Brandon is new to the series this season and he will be playing the role of Dexter Jr., Dexter's son in the hit drama on Showtime. Brandon will be part of the cast with another IMTA alum, Dominic Janes. Dominic has been on the series since the very first epiosde in 2006! Dominic plays the character Dexter as a child in this chilling series. The show follows a man named Dexter Morgan who during the day works for the Miami Metro Homicide Department as blood spatter analyst. His dark side comes out at night as he becomes a vigilante, tracking down and murdering the serial killers that he looks for during the day. This show is based on the novels Darkly Dreaming Dexter, Dearly Devoted Dexter and Dexter in the Dark by Jeff Lindsay.
Brandon competed at IMTA New York in 2006 and won 2nd Runner-Up Child Model of the Year and 3rd Runner-Up Child Actor of the Year. He signed with Superior Talent in Los Angeles. He was recently featured in an ad for the banking giant Capitol One.
Dominic competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2004 and signed with Rising Talent Management. His first movie role was as Billy Madison in the comedy Wild Hogs. He starred on the hit drama ER for two seasons and appeared in Crossing Jordan. He starred as Jimmy Roberts in a new show called Out of Jimmy's Head which plays on Cartoon Network. The format of this show was a cutting-edge combination of live actors working with cartoons and starred another IMTA alum, Jon Kent Etheridge.

Sean Faris is filming a new movie!

Sean Faris on location in Ireland filming the lead role in a new movie called Ghost Machine. Sean also has a new feature film Forever Strong opening September 26. It is about rugby player whose team competes against another team which is coached by his father. Sean plays Rick Penning in this sport centered drama. Sean's last movie Never Back Down won an MTV Movie Award for BEST FIGHT. E! Online said, "Best Fight each went to duos who may not yet be household names but could very well be one day if looks and chemistry have anything to do with it."

Sean won Junior Male Model of the Year when he competed at IMTA in 1999. Some of his past projects include the motion picture Pearl Harbor, the TV show Reunion, Life as We Know It, and the feature film Sleepover with two IMTA alums, Kallie Childress and Mika Boorem. He has been featured in several memorable campaigns and magazines, including Abercrombie & Fitch, GQ, Teen Vogue and Armani. Sean is in production on the film The Glass Eye. He not only plays the lead character Danny but he is also producing it with his manager, Dino May.

Eva Longoria in new Microsoft Ads!!!

IMTA alum Eva Longoria has signed on with the computer giant Microsoft to appear in their new ad campaign! According to Pulse2.0, "Microsoft Corporation is putting their ad campaign featuring Jerry Seinfeld on pause for the time being. The $300 million campaign will continue to march forward with a new theme. The new theme is a rebuttal against the Apple Inc. ads, Mac vs. PC. The new Microsoft ad will start with a commercial that features an engineer that resembles John Hodgman, the actor that plays “PC” on the Apple ads. The new ad even starts by saying “Hello, I’m a PC, and I’ve been made into a stereotype.” Crispin Porter & Bogusky came up with the new campaign idea. Microsoft is even bringing several celebrities on board as part of the campaign that includes Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), Deepak Chopra (author), and Pharrell Williams (musician). Others featured in the commercials will include 60 Microsoft employees."

Eva competed at IMTA in 1998 and had 38 agencies and managers interested in representing her! She signed with a manager she had met at the convention. Eva told Pageantry Magazine that “The first day they signed me I had four auditions...It was pretty fast.” She quickly moved to Los Angeles and landed guest-starring roles on Beverly Hills 90210, General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless. In 2003, she took a role as a detective in a TV remake LA Dragnet and made her big-screen film debut in Carlita’s Secret, and starred in the films Harsh Times, Over Her Dead Body and The Sentinel. Eva's breakthrough role is as the beautiful Gabrielle Solis on the award-winning Desperate Housewives on ABC which airs it's fifth season premiere on September 28.

Eva has her own charity Eva's Heros which helps disabled children and adults with the various challenges they face. She puts her star power to work in the PSA's and other cancer awareness and education programs. Eva was also featured in an ad campaign for Bebe's sportswear where she serves as their spokesperson.

Sean Harju recently graced the catwalk for the Fashion Week Spring/ Summer 2009 shows. He modeled clothes by the huge menswear designer Zenga and the very well-respected designer Thom Browne.

Sean competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2006 where he won first runner up for Male Model of the Year and signed with the legendary Major Model Management team. He has been featured in the magazine Arena, Europe's premier modeling magazine, GQ where he was featured solo in a six page photo layout, in an editorial spread in Details, on the cover of the Japanese Magazine called HUGE, on the homepage for Eluxury and in a Diesel campaign ad. Sean is a favorite runway model and appeared in an astounding number of shows during the past season! He was in a Spring/Summer ad campaign for Dolce And Gabbana with fellow IMTA grad and supermodel Tyson Ballou. He has modeled for Y-3 and Calvin Klein, Dior, Diesel, Lucien Palley Finet and many more.

IMTA alumni and the Primetime Emmy Awards!

Tune in tonight to see the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards. Seven IMTA alumni shows have received Emmy nominations Emmy Awards. The Emmy awards recognize excellence within various areas of the TV industry. The awards are a symbol of peer recognition from over 15,000 members of the Academy. Each Member casts a ballot for the category of competition in their field of expertise. The Primetime Emmy Awards celebrate excellence in national primetime programming, awarding top honors at the annual creative arts gala and primetime awards telecast.

IMTA alumni Jerry Ferrara and Adrianne Palicki's shows received Emmy nominations. Jerry's show Entourage is up for a nomination for outstanding comedy series category. Adrianne's hit show Friday Night Lights is up for a nomination for outstanding drama series. Alyson Stoner has two show ups for nominations: the summer sensation and Disney hit Camp Rock and the animated Disney series Phineas and Ferb. Sofia Vassilieva's drama series Medium received a Emmy nomination. Dominic Janes' Showtime original series Dexter is nominated for five Emmy Awards, including a nomination for best drama series! The hit game show Deal or No Deal is nominated for an Emmy. Keltie Martin is one of the Deal or No Deal models. She is the model for Case number 4. The mini-series Comanche Moon received 5 Emmy nominations! IMTA alum Joseph Castanon played Newt in the dramatic western.

Camp Rock Freestyle hosted by Alyson Stoner!


IMTA alumni Alyson Stoner will be hosting a special presentation of the hit Camp Rock Saturday night! It's the Camp Rock Freestyle Jam on the Disney Channel on Saturday, September 20th at 8/7C. Alyson and Roshon Fegan are hosting the show and showing the dance moves to "We Rock" and "Start the Party!" They'll also be giving freestyle dance tips and rockin' moves inspired by Camp Rock.

Alyson competed at IMTA in 2000 where she impressed the agents with her acting abilities and she has been wowing us ever since! From her starring roles in feature films such as Alice Upside Down to the Cheaper by the Dozen movies to dancing and touring with Missy Elliott, Alyson is a super star. She co-hosted Mike's SuperShort Show from 2002-2006 on the Disney channel and played the recurring character Max in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Alyson has a new project called GetFitWithAlyson.com where she does exercises that use the Wii Fit and has a forum to discuss teen issues. Alyson just landed a role in the animated movie called Kung Fu Magoo.

Regine Nehy in Lakeview Terrace!


IMTA alum Regine Nehy's new dramatic feature film Lakeview Terrace is in theaters today!!! This movie is about an interracial couple who moves into a new house in Los Angeles. Their next door neighbor is a single dad and a Los Angeles Policeman, who is played by Samuel L. Jackson. He is very unhappy with their marriage and starts stalking and harassing them. Regine plays Samuel L. Jackson's daughter, Celia Turner, in this suspenseful thriller.

Regine competed at IMTA in New York of 2000. At IMTA, she signed with Dino May Management and Kazarian/Spencer & Associates, who have helped her become the successful actress she is today. She starred as Jacquie in the MTV film Super Sweet Sixteen: The Movie. She also starred in the the film Pride about a swim team overcoming numerous obstacles to become state championship . She has appeared in many projects such as: Fighting the Odds: The Marilyn Gambrell Story, Grey's Anatomy, Lincoln Heights and Boot Camp.

Katie Holmes debut on Broadway!

IMTA alumni Katie Holmes makes her Broadway debut tonight in the revival of Arthur Miller's classic All My Sons. The production offically opens October 16th with a limited engagement through January 11th. Katie will be starring with John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson. According to CNN, "All My Sons concerns businessman Joe Keller (Lithgow) whose factory supplied defective cylinder parts to the military, resulting in the deaths of 21 pilots during World War II. Yet it was his business partner who went to jail for the mistake. Wiest will play Keller's wife; Wilson, his idealistic son; and Holmes, the son's fiancee and daughter of Keller's disgraced partner. The director is Simon McBurney." Katie competed at IMTA twice, in 1993 and 1995 . She participated in seminars and workshops which got her noticed by industry greats Al Onorato, David Guillod and Bobby Moresco. When Katie returned a couple of years later to present awards at IMTA, she debuted the first fifteen minutes of the pilot episode of Dawson's Creek. The entire ballroom was riveted by this ground-breaking stylish teen drama and Katie received thunderous applause! On that special night, she gave us a very nice interview saying:

"Let's just say a girl from Toledo, Ohio wouldn't end up cast in a Hollywood movie if it weren't for IMTA!"

Jessica Biel in Easy Virtue Trailer!!


Jessica Biel is starring in the upcoming feature film, Easy Virtue. This movie about is about a widowed American woman who meets her new English in-laws after marrying their son. It is directed by Stephan Elliot and is based on a play by Noel Coward. Jessica stars as Larita Huntington. Colin Firth, Ben Barnes and Kristin Scott Thomas are part of the stellar cast of this romantic comedy. This film is scheduled to be in theaters in November!! Jessica competed at IMTA in 1994 where she debuted her acting, singing and dancing abilities. She signed with an agent and manager who helped her land the breakthrough role of Mary Camden on the beloved long-running WB series 7th Heaven. She has gone on to star in many major motion pictures such as I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, The Illusionist, Stealth, Elizabethtown, Home of the Brave and Next. Jessica is not only talented and beautiful she has a big heart as well. One of the charities Jessica supports is the nonprofit, no kill Much Love Animal Rescue organization which works to reduce overpopulation and mistreatment of domestic animals.

Lyndsy Fonseca filming Fort McCoy!

Lyndsy Fonseca is currently filming the dramatic film Fort McCoy. She stars as Anna alongside Eric Stoltz and Camryn Manheim. This movie is based on the real-life story of actress/writer Kate Connor’s own mother and is being directed by Michael Worth. The story revolves around the Stirn family who lived in a cabin in Wisconsin near an army base and a Prisoner of War camp during World War II. Lyndsy competed at IMTA in 2003 where she won Honorable Mention for Young Miss Talent of the Year and 2nd Runner up for Young Miss Dancer of the Year. At the convention, she signed with an agent and manager and moved to Los Angeles for her first pilot season at age 13. The following year, at 14, Lyndsy booked a three year contract as Colleen on The Young and the Restless. When the contract ended she worked on various projects such as: Heroes, Close to Home, The Beautiful Ordinary, How I Met Your Mother, Phil of the Future, Big Love, Intellectual Property, Waterfront, Cyber Seduction, I Do, They Don't, Malcolm in the Middle and Boston Public. Lyndsy also shot several national commercials and starred in the film Remember the Daze. She starred in the hit show with fellow IMTA alum Eva Longoria Desperate Housewives! Lyndsy just finished filming the drama Austin Golden Hour and is in post production on Kick Ass with Nicholas Cage. In an interview with IMTA Lyndsy said:

"IMTA was a lot of fun. It's how I imagine college might be - where you room with a bunch of other girls and then go off to classes together. Only one year after IMTA, I was offered a contract with Y&R!"

Eva Longoria Hosting the ALMA Awards!


IMTA alum Eva Longoria Parker returned as the host of the ALMA Awards which is airing tonight on NBC! The ALMA Awards (American Latino Media Arts) recognize excellence in latin actors portrayals. Honorees included Amercia Ferrara, Charlie Sheen and Shakira. This is Eva's second year to host the prestigious awards and she is the event's Executive Producer.

"We are thrilled that this year's broadcast of the ALMA Awards will kick off Hispanic Heritage Month...What better way is there to celebrate than with a star-studded showcase of Latino contributions to American culture? We are also delighted to have Eva back as our host. She's respected and talented in the entertainment industry and a true champion for our community," said Janet Murguia, president and CEO of the National Council of La Raza. The National Council of La Raza is one of the largest national Latino civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States.

Brooke Burns new game show premieres tonight!


IMTA alum Brooke Burns and TV personality Mark Thompson are the co-hosts for Hole in the Wall, a Japanese-inspired game show. It premieres tonight on Fox at 8 PM to 9 PM ET/PT! Each episode of this exciting new series will have two teams consisting of three people. The members of the teams must try to fit through unusual cut-out shapes in walls that come speeding toward them. If they don’t make it through, then they get knocked into the pool below. The winning team receives $25,000. They will also have an opportunity to win $100,000 more by conquering the “Blind Wall.” Brooke competed at the IMTA convention in 1994 in Los Angeles. She became a very successful model and actress. Her resume includes such projects as: Baywatch, Dog Eat Dog, A Nero Wolfe Mystery, Ally McBeal, North Shore, Miss Guided, Pepper Dennis, The Salon and The Art of Travel. Brooke is currently working on a new drama called Mistresses for Lifetime. She is in post production on the film Dancing Trees and a television show called Smokejumpers.

IMTA alum Ashton Kutcher launched a brand-new web series called Blah Girls with Jason Goldberg, his partner at Katalyst Media. This cutting-edge show is an animated series which is about celebrity news and gossip. Katalyst Media describes it as,"Blah Blah Blah is an interactive, animated Web series that focuses on popular culture, told through the perspective of the Blah Girls - Tiffany, Krystle and Britney. They will keep you up to date on the latest in celebrity gossip, fashion, relationships and life as it happens." Alyson Stoner on the set of top secret project!

IMTA alumni Alyson Stoner has posted a behind-the-scene video on the set of her very first music video where she is the singer! It's a remake for a soundtrack for an upcoming Disney movie! Alyson was very careful to keep the song and movie under wraps as it is a top secret project but she said to keep your eyes and ears open and you will see it soon!

Melody Woodin is a New Face for L'Oreal Feria!

Melody Woodin is L'Oreal Paris' new face for their new and improved hair color product line, Feria! Melody looks stunning with her gorgeous blond shimmering hair. To view Melody and the Feria hair color line, click here.

Melody competed at IMTA in 2004 and won Model of the Year. She signed with the prestigious international modeling agency Women Management. She is also represented by Nathalie in Paris. She is a favorite runway, editorial and commercial model. Melody has modeled for some of the most highly influential and highly respected fashion designers in the world such as: Christian Dior, Badgley Mischka, Marc Jacobs, Oscar De La Renta, Luca Luca and appeared in a print ad for the Biore facial products.

She was also recently featured in the latest Neiman Marcus catalog. Melody was striking, appearing in a nine page layout titled 'Feminine Touch'. Melody wore clothing and accessories by designers Diane Von Furstenberg, Elie Tahari, Burberry, Nancy Gonzalez and Robert Rodriguez.

Jerry Ferrara Returns in Season Five of Entourage!

IMTA alumni Jerry Ferrara returns for the highly anticipated premiere of the fifth season of the HBO show Entourage!

HBO describes the television show as,"The hit comedy series executive produced by Mark Wahlberg that takes a look at the day-to-day life of Vincent Chase, a hot young actor in modern-day Hollywood, and his entourage. He's brought with him from their hometown in Queens, NY: manager Eric, half-brother Drama, and friend Turtle. The series draws on the experiences of industry insiders to illustrate both the heady excesses of today's celebrity lifestyle, as well as the difficulty of finding love and success in the fast track of show biz. Now that the boys are getting used to the perks of stardom, Eric, along with superagent Ari, keep Vince's star rising while making sound decisions for a long-lasting career in a world of fleeting fame."

Jerry Ferrara plays Turtle, the loyal friend to Vince who is in charge of keeping up their household and their Los Angeles lifestyle. Turtle tends to find himself the brunt of their jokes, but the entourage knows they wouldn't be having half as much fun without him.

Jerry competed at IMTA in 2000 where he met and signed with an agent who encouraged him to move to LA where he landed the comedy King Of Queens. Jerry was then cast in the independent feature Cross Bronx and then worked on Brooklyn Rules. He is best known for his role as Turtle on HBO's popular and 7 Emmy-nominated TV show Entourage. He has received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series from the Screen Actors Guild and TV Chemistry from the Teen Choice Awards. Jerry was a presenter at both the VMAs and the Emmys last year!!

Holly Ridings on L.A. Direct Billboard!


IMTA alum Holly Ridings is now appearing on a huge billboard in L.A.! Promoting L.A. Direct Magazine, she looks amazing in the edgy high-fashion shot!

Holly Ridings also appeared in a seven page editorial layout for the second issue of a new magazine called Foam. Holly has also appeared on in-store posters for Express and in Kohl's department store magazine ads.

Holly competed at two IMTA Conventions. She first competed in New York in 2000, and then came back to compete at IMTA three years later. She is represented by Elite Model Management, the biggest modeling agency in the world.

Kai Jayubo in a National Commercial!


IMTA alum Kai Jayubo just shot a national ad for the popular cereal Cheerios. He just competed at IMTA New York convention in July 2008. His charm, talents and poise won him the title of Male Child Actor of the Year!!! He also won 4th Runner-Up Male Child Model of the Year and 2nd Runner-Up Most Sought After Male Talent! His national Cheerios commercial is airing now on the cartoon network. Kai is currently in Los Angeles and we look forward to hearing more about this talented young actor!

Watch for Brian Kehoe in hit tv show tonight!



Catch the all-new episode of The Janice Dickinson Model Agency on Oxygen tonight! IMTA alumni Brian Kehoe is one of the models featured on the show and Janice advises viewers to keep a close eye on Brian Kehoe - a model from Reno, Nev. While she considers him one of her favorites, a guy who possesses the elusive “it” factor, she also said he exhibits “bratty” behavior that forces her to put her foot down.

“He’s wonderful,” she said. “But you see me at odds with this kid. These weren’t setups, but you know what? You’re going to see it. It’s in the show.”

The fourth season premiere of The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency on Oxygen last week was the highest rated premiere in the show’s history among the network’s key demos!

Brian competed at IMTA in 2001 and went on to work for Click LA, Vane’s Men and LA Models before hitting it big with the Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency TV show.
