Eva Longoria named Ambassador for Cancer Foundation

The beautiful and big hearted star Eva Longoria will appear in Public Service Announcements to raise awareness and money of ovarian cancer in a campaign sponsored by the Callaway Golf Foundation in partnership with the Entertainment Industry Foundation. Eva will appear in both TV and print PSAs to educate women about cancer and what they can do to help themselves.

Eva competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 1998 where she mesmerized the agents with her talent. She started working in television with guest spots on The Young and The Restless, The George Lopez Show, L.A. Dragnet and her huge hit Desperate Housewives. Her movie roles include starring in The Sentinel, Harsh Times, the recently wrapped comedy Over My Dead Body, and a voice over for the animated picture Foodfight. She has been on Maxim magazine's #1 Hot 100 List, appeared on numerous magazine covers, been named spokeswoman for both L'Oreal Cosmetics and Bebe Sport and honored as one of People Magazine's Most Beautiful People of 2007. Alyson Stoner rocks the house at IMTA!!!!


Special Guest Star Alyson Stoner opened the IMTA Convention at the Contestant Orientation with an inspiring, humorous and fun-filled speech. She welcomed the entire IMTA group and wished them a great week. She also shared her IMTA story and how she competed and was in their very same shoes seven years ago. Since then she has starred on Disney's Mike's Super Short Show, Cheaper by the Dozen, and The Suite Life of Zach and Cody. She is also designing her own dance shoe and will be appearing in the upcoming feature film, Alice!

Alyson signed autographs and took pictures with her fans for over two hours! IMTA Contestants were thrilled to meet the young star, hear her story and spend a little a time with her!

It was a great start to our exciting IMTA week!

Jessica Biel's latest feature film premieres!

Catch IMTA alumni Jessica Biel in the premiere weekend of her latest feature film, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry! The comedy stars Adam Sandler and Kevin James. Jessica plays their lawyer in the hilarious film which is getting rave reviews!

Jessica competed at IMTA in 1994 where she debuted her acting, singing and dancing abilities. She signed with an agent and manager who helped her land the breakthrough role of Mary Camden on the beloved long-running WB series 7th Heaven. Katie Holmes sparkles in New York!


Katie Holmes was the surprise special guest at the premiere of Hairspray in New York City. She looked stunning in a short black dress with a great haircut. Katie was there to support her pal Queen Latifah, who co-stars with Katie in their upcoming film, Mad Money. Katie walked the red carpet for the exciting premiere at the legendary Ziegfeld theatre which is across the street from the IMTA Headquarters, which will soon be hosting the upcoming IMTA New York, New York Convention!

Many beautiful models and appealing actors will be showing their skills to the agents, managers, casting directors and industry VIP's who will be scouting for new faces to represent! Katie herself is an alumni of the 1993 and 1995 IMTA New York Convention. She competed at IMTA and participated in seminars and workshops which got her noticed by industry greats Al Onorato, David Guillod and Bobby Moresco.

Katie actually shot her first audition at IMTA with the IMTA Video Crew. When Katie returned a couple of years later to present awards at IMTA, she debuted the first fifteen minutes of the pilot episode of Dawson's Creek. The entire ballroom was riveted by this ground-breaking stylish teen drama and Katie received thunderous applause! On that special night, she gave us a very nice interview saying,"Let's just say a girl from Toledo, Ohio wouldn't end up cast in a Hollywood movie if it weren't for IMTA!" Jessica Biel ...gorgeous at the Los Angeles Premiere!

Jessica Biel was looking every bit an A-List movie star on the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of her new feature film, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. The premiere was held a few nights ago at CityWalk Cinemas in Universal City, California.

Jessica competed at IMTA in 1994 where she debuted her acting, singing and dancing abilities. She signed with an agent and manager who helped her land the breakthrough on the WB series 7th Heaven. She has gone on to star in such mega movies as Stealth, Elizabethtown, The Illusionist and Next.

Melody Woodin on the runway!

Melody Woodin walked down the "T" presenting the Fall Couture line by Christian Dior.

She also displayed the Resort 2008 line for Badgley Mischka, Luca Luca, and Oscar De La Renta.

Regine Nehy in Super Sweet Sixteen!


Regine Nehy stars as Jacquie in the MTV film Super Sweet Sixteen: The Movie which released this week on DVD. The film is about two best friends who share the same birthday which they always celebrated together. After a big fight they end up competing when celebrating their Sweet Sixteen. Regine is currently filming the film Lakeview Terrace with another IMTA alum Ashton Kutcher. Since competing at IMTA, Regine signed with Dino May Management and Kazarian/Spencer & Associates and she has been a very busy working actress. She has starred in the the film Pride about a swim team overcoming numerous obstacles to become state champions. She guest starred as Chayenne Wood on the hit drama Grey's Anatomy. Her credits also include the Lifetime network movie Fighting the Odds: The Marilyn Gambrell Story, which aired Tuesday June 19, and a starring role in the independent feature Weapons which co-stars IMTA alum Riley Smith. Nehy just wrapped Boot Camp a thriller about a group of troubled teens sent to a rehab camp on Fiji that turns out to be boot camp where they are abused and brainwashed.

Sean Harju in Milan and Paris shows!


IMTA alum and international model Sean Harju heated up the runways in Europe recently. He appeared in the shows for many of fashion greatest designers! He walked the runway for Dior Homme and Kris Van Assche in Paris. In Milan, he appeared in the runway shows for Dolce & Gabbana, Jean Paul Gaultier, Salvatore Ferragamo, Alessandro Dell 'Acqua, D Squared, Burberry and Calvin Klein Collection.

Sean competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2006 where he won first runner up for Male Model of the Year. Sean was a very sought after model and he signed with the legendary Major Model Management team. Since then, he has worked for fashion designers around the world, appeared in GQ magazine and on NBC's The Today Show!

Eva Longoria on the Cover of Latina Magazine

In an article in the June/July issue of Latina magazine IMTA alum Eva Longoria discusses hosting the 2007 ALMA Awards, education issues, and her summer wedding to NBA star/rapper Tony Parker. In an interview in the magazine, Eva talks about the serious issue of education especially for women “We need to increase the number of women who go to college. ...Everything is intertwined…it’s up to us to lay the groundwork for future generations.”

AJ Trauth on the Disney Channel in an Even Stevens Marathon!


IMTA alum AJ Trauth is featured all weekend on an Even Stevens Marathon. AJ competed at IMTA in the late nineties and has been on various television shows since. He played Allen Twitty on Even Stevens for three years, appeared on Pepper Dennis which starred another IMTA alum, Brooke Burns, and is in the band Mavin. He guest starred on CSI, Numb3rs, Kim Possible, Ghost Whisperer, Reba, and House. AJ recently wrapped the comedy movie The Last Word also starring Ray Romano which is about a guy who makes his living writing suicide notes for people and falls for the sister of a recent client. Don't miss AJ in Even Stevens this weekend on the Disney Channel.

Jessica Biel in Live Earth Promo!


The environmentally aware Jessica Biel is one of the A list of celebrities starring in public service announcements for the Live Earth concerts. These public service announcements are available to broadcasters to promote eco-friendly messages. Live Earth is a 24-hour, 7-continent series of concert events on 7.7.07 that will bring together more than 100 music artists and 2 billion people to try to work together to solve the global environmental crisis. Live Earth will stage official concerts in New York, London, Sydney, Rio de Janiero, Johannesburg, Shanghai, Toyko, and Hamburg. Melody Woodin for Biore!


The beautiful and versatile international model Melody Woodin is in an ad for Biore facial products appearing in current issues of fashion magazines. Melody competed at IMTA in 2004 where she won the coveted title of Model of the Year. Soon after, she signed with the prestigious international modeling agency Women Management. Josh Duhamel hits the Jackpot with Transformers:The Movie

The movie everyone has been waiting for Transformers starring Josh Duhamel is now in theaters. The movie is based on the Saturday morning cartoon and when Josh was a kid he watched it and played with the action figures. Josh was recently quoted in an interview for @ Movies as saying "I liked the Decepticons better than the Autobots. I don't know if I'm a little twisted, but it was the dark, stealth-like look to them that was cool. I liked all of the Transformers, but the Decepticons had the baddest weapons. I loved the weapons on Megatron, Vortex and the others."


Josh portrays Army officer, Captain Lennox whose is in charge of small brigade of Special Forces Rangers in the Persian Gulf. While there, his group becomes the first people to be under attacked by the Decepticons, which are metallic, shape-shifting aliens that are trying to destroy the human race. After a massacre, Josh and his squad are the only survivors and they go back to the United States to help destroy the Decepticons and their leader, Megatron. Part of this plan includes destroying another alien race, the Autobots who have come to help fight the Decepticons.

Josh competed at IMTA in 1997 New York City where he won Model of the Year. Soon after competing at IMTA, Josh was cast as Leo du Pres on the daytime drama All My Children.
