Eva Longoria in new Microsoft Ads!!!

IMTA alum Eva Longoria has signed on with the computer giant Microsoft to appear in their new ad campaign! According to Pulse2.0, "Microsoft Corporation is putting their ad campaign featuring Jerry Seinfeld on pause for the time being. The $300 million campaign will continue to march forward with a new theme. The new theme is a rebuttal against the Apple Inc. ads, Mac vs. PC. The new Microsoft ad will start with a commercial that features an engineer that resembles John Hodgman, the actor that plays “PC” on the Apple ads. The new ad even starts by saying “Hello, I’m a PC, and I’ve been made into a stereotype.” Crispin Porter & Bogusky came up with the new campaign idea. Microsoft is even bringing several celebrities on board as part of the campaign that includes Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), Deepak Chopra (author), and Pharrell Williams (musician). Others featured in the commercials will include 60 Microsoft employees."

Eva competed at IMTA in 1998 and had 38 agencies and managers interested in representing her! She signed with a manager she had met at the convention. Eva told Pageantry Magazine that “The first day they signed me I had four auditions...It was pretty fast.” She quickly moved to Los Angeles and landed guest-starring roles on Beverly Hills 90210, General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless. In 2003, she took a role as a detective in a TV remake LA Dragnet and made her big-screen film debut in Carlita’s Secret, and starred in the films Harsh Times, Over Her Dead Body and The Sentinel. Eva's breakthrough role is as the beautiful Gabrielle Solis on the award-winning Desperate Housewives on ABC which airs it's fifth season premiere on September 28.

Eva has her own charity Eva's Heros which helps disabled children and adults with the various challenges they face. She puts her star power to work in the PSA's and other cancer awareness and education programs. Eva was also featured in an ad campaign for Bebe's sportswear where she serves as their spokesperson.

Look for Eva in the new Microsoft ads and tune into to Desperate Housewives on September 28!!
