Variety reports that IMTA alum Jessica Biel is going to be producing and starring in a new crime thriller called To Die a Little. The film is set in present day Los Angeles and is about a school teacher and her brother a Los Angeles Police Detective. When a beautiful and mysterious woman (Jessica) enters their lives many interesting things happen. The film is based on the novel by author Megan Abbott.
Jessica has made an impact ever since she competed at IMTA in 1994. She captured the attention of many of the talent managers and scouts who were there and landed her breakthrough role was as Mary Camden on the incredibly popular WB series 7th Heaven. She has gone on to star in many major motion pictures such as The Illusionist, Stealth, Elizabethtown, Home of the Brave and Next. She recently wrapped the comedy film A Women of No Importance which is about a woman who has an illegitimate child. Things become sticky when her son tries to get a job from his father a secret neither of them knows. The film is based on on a play by the famous writer Oscar Wilde. She just finished working on the movie Powder Blue about four people from very different backgrounds who find themselves thrown together which is set for release in 2008. Jessica was was seen most recently in hilarious comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. We all look forward to seeing Jessica on the big screen in her upcoming movies!
