Jessica Cambensy Modeling in Hong Kong!

Jessica Cambensy has been in Hong Kong modeling for Clinique, L'Oreal and Max Factor. These ads can be seen in the popular magazines Marie Claire and Cosmogirl. Jessica has appeared in fashion editorials, in beauty spreads and in catalogs. She was also featured in a television ad for the cosmetics giant Ponds. Jessica competed at IMTA in New York City in 2003 and has been following her dream of being a working model ever since!

Ashton is shooting a new feature film!


IMTA alum Ashton Kutcher will begin shooting his new film Personal Effects with Michelle Pfeiffer and Kathy Bates. The romantic drama will be directed by David Hollander and the film will began shooting November 26th in Vancouver, Canada. Ashton stars as a young man who comes to a small town to avenge his sister's death. He is sidetracked when he meets an older beautiful woman (Michelle Pfeiffer) with emotional wounds similar to his own. Kathy Bates joins the cast playing Ashton's mother.

Ashton Kutcher competed at IMTA in 1997 where he won the title of "Most Sought After Male Model!" He had the most callbacks of any male model that year. He signed immediately with NEXT MODELS and began appearing in men's fashion week shows within two days of competing at IMTA! He famously said ,"I never even went home!" Ashton was a very successful model but he and his agent had even bigger dreams for him and submitted him for consideration of a new Fox television show called Teenage Wasteland. Ashton was cast in the part of Kelso and the title was changed to That 70's Show and the rest is part of Hollywood history! Ashton Kutcher's talent and likability have made him an A-list actor and he has become one of the industry's most successful and creative producers. Ashton's latest film What Happens in Vegas will be a must-see in 2008!

Elijah's Film Happy Feet Wins BAFTA Children's Award

Happy Feet just won a BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Children's Award on Sunday in London beating Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! IMTA alum Elijah Wood provides the voice over for the main character Mumble. This film has won accolades from audiences worldwide and earned an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and a Golden Globe for Best Original Song. The BAFTA Children's Awards honor children's movies and are similar to the annual Film and Television Awards.

Currently Elijah is working on an animated action adventure film called 9, a post-apocalyptic nightmare in which all of humanity is threatened. His film The Oxford Murders is scheduled for release in January in Spain. The story takes place at Oxford University where a professor (William Hurt) and a grad student (Wood) work together to try and stop a potential series of murders seemingly linked by mathematical symbols.

Elijah competed at IMTA in 1989 and has been working ever since. He was scouted by and signed with Al Onorato. Since then, he has had an amazing career and starred in over 40 feature films, including the Academy-Award winning Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Eva Longoria Looking Gorgeous on the Cover of Parade Magazine!

Look who graced the cover of this Sunday's Parade Magazine- Eva Longoria! In the accompanying article, she talks about her life, staying fit and healthy and her work as an actress. Eva competed at IMTA in 1998 and has become an A-list celebrity playing Gabby on ABC's award-winning hit television show Desperate Housewives.

Eva is also involved in charity work. She attends benefits, appears in public service announcements for causes such as breast and ovarian cancer and started her own charity! Eva's Heroes which helps those with developmental disabilities. Eva has been named one of AOL's sexist Prime time TV stars, one of People's "50 Most Beautiful", the "#1 Hottest Woman in the World" by Maxim, voted by Variety as one of the "Ten New Faces to Watch", one of Rolling Stone's "People of the Year," USA Today's "TV's Hot 11" and TV Guide's "New Faces of Fall." She has an exclusive worldwide contract as the face of L'Oreal and is the spokeswoman for Bebe apparel.

Jerry Ferrara Happy Birthday!!!

We want to wish a very happy birthday to IMTA alum Jerry Ferrara. Jerry starred in the fourth season as the beloved Turtle on the HBO hot series Entourage. Jerry competed at IMTA in 2000. Originally from Brooklyn, he landed his first role on CBS’ comedy The King of Queens. His television credits include NYPD Blue and Grounded for Life. His upcoming projects include Gardener of Eden, Where God Left His Shoes and he just wrapped the feature film Brooklyn Rules.

Brendon Ryan Barrett in Casper's Haunted Christmas!

Don't miss an encore presentation of the hysterical cartoon movie Casper's Haunted Christmas which features IMTA alum Brendon Ryan Barrett as Casper's voice. In this hilarious story the ruler of all ghosts says that Casper must scare at least one person before Christmas Day. While Casper would like to scare someone his good nature makes him unable to complete the task. The Ghostly Trio decide to ask Casper's cousin to do the mean deed and a funny story follows. Brandon competed at IMTA and went on to be the voice of Casper in two movies: A Spirited Beginning and Casper Haunted Christmas. His first on screen time was in a commercial for the Money Store and he went on to have guest starring roles on The King of Queens, Touched by an Angel and Durango Kid.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Many IMTA alums have given back to their communities during the past year. Alyson Stoner is supporting the Special Olympics and appearing on their parade float in Fulton County, Ohio. The float is just one of more than 50 parade entries coming from communities throughout northwest Ohio. The parade will be on Friday, November 23rd. Alyson is busy promoting her new fabulous film Alice Upside Down, as well as filming several new projects.

Eva Longoria has been very philanthropic this year. She has been involved in charity work and has supported many campaigns to help under-privileged people educate and empower themselves. This beautiful and big-hearted IMTA alum held the first ever Eva’s Heroes Celebrity Golf Tournament to benefit the new non-profit organization she recently founded. This charity is dedicated to enhancing the lives of developmentally challenged children and young adults. The money she raised will be used for programs and offerings at the Eva’s Heroes Enrichment Centers. Eva continues to star as Gabby in the hit show Desperate Housewives.

Matthew Florida joins the Cast of Days!


IMTA alum Matthew Florida has joined the cast of the daytime drama Days of Our Lives as a recurring character. Matthew will originate the role of Ford Decker, described as,"a 21 year-old, drop-dead-gorgeous born leader & fearless college athlete. His confidence, bordering on arrogance, doesn't distract from his appeal. He is smooth & charming without being cheesy. His very presence makes the ladies swoon. Along with his good looks & hard body there is an edge of danger that adds to his charisma and mystery."

Matthew competed at IMTA in 2005 after talent scout Nikki Pederson selected him to compete at IMTA (International Modeling and Talent Association Convention). During the IMTA, Florida was signed by Peter Kluge at Impact Artists. One month later, Matthew made the 23 hour road trip in his pick-up and landed in L.A. He has appeared in a variety of commercials and films and is thrilled to be recurring on Days of Our Lives. Matthew's character debuted on October 9th and his story arc is front and center this week so be sure and tune into NBC to watch Matthew in action!

Taylor looks great in these new photos. Taylor won Junior Male Model of the Year at the IMTA convention held in January 2007 in Los Angeles. Taylor just did a Teen Vogue show by Marc Jacobs and signed with L.A. Models and Passport.



Austin Bales competed at IMTA in New York City in 2006. He won the the title of Junior Male Model of the Year and signed with L.A. Models. He is currently the feature model at Forever 21’s Men’s online catalog. Check him out online.




Gordan recently did a shoot for Versace. Gordan attended IMTA in Los Angeles in January 2007 where he won the coveted award of 2nd runner-up! He signed with L.A. Models.

Drew Tyler Bell is a Presenter at the 35th International Awards Gala!

The handsome and talented Drew Tyler Bell is presenting an award tonight at The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Emmy Awards Gala. This prestigious event will take place the New York Hilton Grand Ballroom in New York City, the same place where IMTA holds its annual convention!! Former Vice President Al Gore will be receiving a special achievement awards. Some of presenters include Sam Waterston, Lorraine Bracco, Alan Cumming, Gloria Reuben, Eric Bogosian, Rob Morrow, and George Wendt. The International Emmy Academy recognizes the leaders in television programming on an international level which includes the largest organization of global broadcasters, including from more than 400 companies and members 70 countries.

Drew first showed his talents at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2001. Drew competed in acting and modeling competitions and even made it to the talent showcase with his dance performance. He attracted a lot of agency interest and signed and moved to L.A. He booked the television series Jake 2.0, the feature film Jeepers Creepers 2 and the independent feature film State's Evidence before joining the cast of The Bold & The Beautiful where he played the role of Thomas Forrester for three years. Drew was nominated for a Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Male Newcomer. He recently joined the cast of the smash Broadway musical Spring Awakenings! The ground-breaking musical hit won the 2007 Tony Award for Best Musical and the reviews are amazing! Riley Smith on Women's Murder Club!

IMTA alum Riley Smith is guest-starring tonight on ABC's new hit show Women's Murder Club! In the episode "The Past Comes Back to Haunt You," Riley plays a young man who needs the murder club's help to try to save his father. Riley's character's father is an inmate on death row with only two days left before his execution.

You may have seen Riley last night as a guest star on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in the episode "Goodnight and Goodbye" which aired Thursday on CBS. He played Jordan Rockwell.
Riley is also very musically talented and just released his first CD with his band The Life of Riley! You can listen to his great new songs on his official band MySpace.

Riley competed at IMTA in 1997 where he won Model of the Year for his age division. IMTA INSIDER: Riley was roommates with Ashton Kutcher in New York city when they were both competing at IMTA that year! Riley has been busy working in television and movies ever since. He appeared in many notable television shows and films such as: Drive, 7th Heaven, Freaks and Geeks, Gideon's Crossing, Boston Public, CSI: Miami, 24, Radio, Eight Legged Freaks, Weapons, and the recently wrapped the thriller Gallowwalkers.

He is currently filming Make It Happen a coming of age story about a young dancer's life. Stay tuned for more information on this multi-talented and busy young actor and musician and his upcoming projects!

Farah Fath on One Life to Live!!!


IMTA alum Farah Fath joins the cast of the extremely popular daytime soap opera One Life to Live. She stars as Gigi Morasco, on this long running ABC series. She moved to New York from Los Angeles in September to begin filming this exciting new role that was written just for her.


Farah competed at IMTA twice, once as a young child and then again as a teenager. When she competed the second time, she said she was ready to take business seriously! She wowed the agents and managers and was signed. When she went to Los Angeles to audition for a role on Days of Our Lives she got the job on her very first try! Farah became a star on the show, playing Mimi Lockhart on the series for eight years.

Farah made a special guest appearance at the IMTA convention in January 2007 in Los Angeles. She presented awards and made an inspiring speech and shared advice.
Catch her in her brand new role as Gigi in what is sure to be an interesting story line on One Life to Live airing now!

Seann William Scott in Southland Tales Opens Today!















IMTA alum Seann William Scott stars in the feature film Southland Tales which opens today in New York and Los Angeles. It will open in wide-release on Friday. Seann plays an L.A. cop in a futuristic tale set in 2008.

The sci-fi thriller stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johsnon, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Janeane Garofalo. It is directed by Richard Kelly, director of Donnie Darko. The film's official website is one of the most elaborate websites ever created for a film and complements the films experience for those that want to delve into it.

Seann competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 1995. After the convention, Seann relocated to Los Angeles, started auditioning and booking some roles. His break-through role was that of Stifler in the incredibly funny comedy American Pie. Seann's determination, talent and incredible comedic timing have landed roles in some of the funniest movies of all time such as the cult movie Dude Where's my Car? which has him teaming up with a fellow IMTA alum and 1997's Most Sought After Male Model, Ashton Kutcher. He has starred in The Dukes of Hazzard, The Rundown, Bulletproof Monk, Ice Age: The Meltdown, and Trainwreck: My Life as an Idiot. His most recent feature film, Mr. Woodcock was a top ten box office hit!

Wayne Lopez on Rules of Engagement Tonight!


Look for Wayne Lopez tonight on the hysterically funny sitcom Rules of Engagement tonight on CBS. This entertaining episode is called Fix-Up and Down and is set in the big city of New York City where Wayne plays the doorman. Wayne said,"The show was really fun to work on and David Spade was really cool."

Wayne recently shot the pilot for the Steven Bochco's television show Raising the Bar where he plays a clerk in the drama about law school classmates who take on former rivals in court. Raising the Bar is scheduled to air in 2008.

Wayne's resume includes a guest appearances on Grey's Anatomy, ER, Without a Trace, Joey, on 3 episodes of another IMTA alum Eva Longoria's hit show Desperate Housewives, Six Feet Under, CSI: Miami, and in a Subway commercial with Joe Torre and Willie Randolf. Wayne is an excellent actor who won Talent of the Year when he competed at IMTA. He gave us an interview after he became a working actor and said,"The IMTA experience opened a lot of doors, I can't even say doors, doors are too small...avenues!"

Eva on the Cover of December Elle Magazine!

IMTA alum Eva Longoria is on the December cover of British Elle magazine and she looks absolutely stunning! She is featured in an article about her magazine makeover, was interviewed and did a fashion shoot. Eva has used her celebrity and walks on the red carpet to benefit charitable causes such as women’s health issues, Hispanic advancement in our society and has her own charity Eva's Heros which helps disabled children and adults with the various challenges they face. She puts her star power to work in the PSA's and other cancer awareness and education programs.

Eva's breakthrough role is as the beautiful Gabrielle Solis on the award-winning Desperate Housewives on ABC (now in its fourth season). Eva competed at IMTA in 1998 and had 38 agencies and managers expressed interest in her! She decided to try acting and signed with a manager she had met at the convention. Eva recently told Pageantry Magazine that “The first day they signed me I had four auditions...It was pretty fast.” She quickly moved to Los Angeles and landed guest-starring roles on Beverly Hills 90210, General Hospital, and The Bold and the Beautiful and went on to play the role of Isabella on the popular daytime series The Young and the Restless.

In 2003, she took a role as a detective in a TV remake LA Dragnet and made her big-screen film debut in Carlita’s Secret, and starred in the films Harsh Times, and The Sentinel. Sara Niemietz Nominated for Best New Artist of the Year!

IMTA alum singer and actress Sara Niemietz will be presenting an award tonight at New Music Weekly Awards at The Avalon Theater in Hollywood, California. She is also nominated for Best New Artist of the YEAR in the AC/ Hot Adult Contemporary category- which is a huge honor and accomplishment.

Sara competed at IMTA in 2000 when she was 7 years old. She has gone on to have a very busy career acting and singing. Sara has had guest apperances on both Providence and Gilmore Girls. She wrote and sang I'm On My Way the end song for the children’s movie, Barbie's The Princess and the Pauper. Sara was picked out of thousands of girls to play the part of Young Helen in the Broadway play Hollywood Arms by Carol Burnett, which is based on her novel One More Time. She also had a leading role in the muscial 13 which about 13 thirteen year olds and debuted at the Mark Taper Theater in Los Angeles. She played Pamela in a play called Pamela's First Musical based on a novel by Wendy Wasserstein which ran at Lincoln Center in New York city. Her first role in a major motion picture was as Polly in the acclaimed film Akeelah and the Bee. She recently released a CD of her own music called Without a Net and can be heard signing on the CDs Sara Niemietz Live At The Cat Club, on the scary soundtrack for The Exorcism and on Teen Witch.

In 2002, Sara returned to IMTA to sing during the Award's Night. It was the first IMTA Convention in New York since 9/11 and Sara sang "God Bless America". Sean Harju Featured in Novemeber Details Magazine!

Check out supermodel and IMTA alum Sean Harju in the November issue of the men's lifestyle magazine Details on newsstands now. He is featured in an editorial by Thom Browne. He recently walked the runway at all the major fall fashion shows in Milan. Sean has modeled clothes for the world's most famous and important designers such as Comme Des Garcon, Salvatore Ferragamo, Hugo Boss, Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, Dolce and Gabbana, Alessandro Dell Acqua, D Squared, Calvin Klein and Burberry. Karl Lagerfeld personally asked Sean to model for his Spring 2007 show in New York.

Sean competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2006 where he won first runner up for Male Model of the Year and he signed with the legendary Major Model Management team. He has been featured in the magazines Arena, Europe's premier modeling magazine and GQ where he was featured in a six page photo layout by himself, over the past year before landing the editorial spread in Details for November 2007.

Katie Holmes Upcoming Movie Featured in People Magazine!

A recent issue of People Magazine featured a great two page photo essay of IMTA alumni Katie Holmes and her costars Queen Latifah and Diane Keaton in character from their upcoming feature film Mad Money. In the accompanying article, Katie's costars talk about how delightful it was working with her! Publicity for the film is starting and we should be seeing lots of Katie soon as she starts promoting the January 2008 release.

Katie competed at IMTA in 1995 and 1993. She caught the eye of manager Al Onorato who got her career started. In 1997, Kate came back to IMTA to present Awards to the current winners and she debuted the pilot to Dawson's Creek! She gave IMTA a wonderful interview where she said ,"Let's just say a girl from Toledo doesn't get cast in a Hollywood movie if it weren't for the IMTA!"
