Zach Roerig on The Vampire Diaries Tonight!

IMTA's Zach Roerig is back in the second season of The Vampire Diaries airing tonight! In the The Vampire Diaries, Zach Roerig plays series regular, Matt Donovan, the quintessential all-American athlete and big man on campus. Many viewers will remember Roerig from his recent high-profile role in the story arc as Tyra's (Adrianne Palicki 'IMTA alum 2003') bad boy beau, rodeo star Cash, on the critically acclaimed drama "Friday Night Lights."

Zach competed at the IMTA in Los Angeles in 2003 where his charm, great looks and acting talent impressed the agents and managers attending. Zach signed with the late Thomas Harding Jones and FORD MODELS and was cast on One Life to Live, As The World Turns, Reba and MTV's True Life.

Alecia Svensen in The Social Network!

Alecia Svensen competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2008! At the IMTA Convention, she won Honorable Mention for Junior Female Actor of the Year, Awards in Monologue, Singing, Soaps, TV Real People, and was the Winner of Ready for My Closeup in her division. Now she is making her film debut in The Social Network which opens in theaters Friday!

According to an article by Christine Kearney of Reuters The Social Network is: "telling the rags-to-riches tale of how Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg was transformed from an intelligent, socially awkward Harvard University student to the hottest property in Silicon Valley for creating the online community."

Alyson Stoner on House Tonight!

IMTA alum Alyson Stoner is guest-starring on tonight's episode of medical drama House on Fox. Alyson stars in the lead role as Della and according to IMDB: "When Della, a seemingly healthy and active 14-year-old, suddenly collapses during a skateboarding exhibition, House and his team struggle to diagnose her condition and reassure her parents who already have to cope with their son's terminal illness. After her body rejects a donor lung, and with time running out to save her life, Della's family is left with little hope of securing a new donor and faced with a seemingly impossible decision regarding the fate of both children."

Alyson competed at IMTA in 2000 where she garnered attention from the agents, managers and casting directors who were scouting at IMTA for new faces. She recently starred in Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam! Alyson also has a hit song Make History which is available on itunes and was just nominated for an J-14 Icon Award. The cast of Camp Rock 2 hit the beach recently as they partnered with Friends For Change to clean up the planet and promote green living. Demi Lovato, Alyson Stoner, and Jordan Francis spent the day cleaning up the beaches and stopped to give an interview and talk about why we need to keep our oceans clean.

“What we’re doing is making a difference in our communities, and hopefully inspire others to do the same,” Alyson said.

Eva Longoria in Desperate Housewives Season Premiere!

Watch the SEVENTH Season Premiere of IMTA alum Eva Longoria's hit show tonight! Desperate Housewives returns to ABC with new characters and drama. "We're going to get into a lot of crazy stuff," Longoria Parker told TV Guide Magazine before hosting the Padres Contra el Cancer charity gala, dedicated to improving the quality of life for Latino children with cancer.

Eva first made news when she competed at IMTA in 1998! She received 38 callbacks from agents and managers who wanted to represent her! Eva is now an A-list celebrity and recently concluded a ground-breaking celebrity auction to raise money for orphans and disabled children in Haiti!

Kristin Hansen on Blue Bloods Tonight!

Kristin Hansen joins the cast of the new fall show Blue Bloods which airs tonight on CBS! This new crime drama is about the Reagan family and according to CBS: "­Blue Bloods is a drama about a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement. Frank Reagan is the New York City Police Commissioner and heads both the police force and the Reagan brood. He runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family."

Kristin competed at the LA 2006 IMTA where she was won Actress of the Year! After competing at IMTA she received a scholarship to the Adam Hill Actors' Studio in New York. Kristin was also the recipient of the Miss Congeniality Award in the Miss North Carolina USA 2006 Pageant. Kristin had a national assignment for Canon USA as narrator/spokesmodel at the Consumer Electronics Show 2010 in Las Vegas and she also narrated a series of Canon product videos. Her TV credits include: Law and Order, Lipstick Jungle, One Life to Live, Gossip Girl , Rescue Me, Kings, and E! She has been in the following films: Confessions of a Shopaholic, Duplicity, and When in Rome with IMTA alum Josh Duhamel.

He premiered his collection during Couture Fashion Week New York, Sunday September 12th at the Waldorf Astoria's Grand Ballroom. IMTA alum's Brandy Eargle, Shandria Brooks and Alex Angel walked in the show. The collection featured 10 elegant couture gowns inspired by Jackie Kennedy and the 1950's.

Adrianne Palicki in Lonestar Premiering Tonight!

Gorgeous IMTA alum Adrianne Palicki stars as Cat in the new drama Lonestar airing tonight. According to IMDB Lonestar is about : "Robert/Bob Allen is a charismatic and brilliant schemer who has meticulously constructed two lives in two different parts of Texas. As "Bob," he lives in Houston and is married to Cat, the beautiful daughter of Clint, the patriarch of an ultra-wealthy Texas oil family. Adrianne first made news when she competed at IMTA in 2001! She attracted lots of agency and manager attention from her outstanding performances in her IMTA modeling and acting competitions. In an interview with the IMTA Video Crew, she said, "It was amazing. I love IMTA! I'm so sad it's over." Her latest project to hit theaters was the horror fantasy Legion! Adrianne recently wrapped the film Red Dawn, a remake of the 1984 action adventure about the U.S. being invaded by Russian and Chinese soldiers. It is scheduled for a November 2010, release!

Sara Niemietz Joins the Cast of Glee!

Sara Niemietz joins the cast of the of the hit sensation Glee! She will be playing the on-screen guitarist. Glee premieres Tuesday, September 21st on FOX. Sara also just released the new video for "I Can't Stand the Rain" featured below! Be sure to watch it to see this amazing talented young star.

IMTA Alum Eva Longoria's TwitChange!

Bidding starts today for Eva Longoria's wonderful celebrity charity fundraiser! When Eva competed at IMTA in 1998, she had 38 agents and managers interested in representing her! She signed with a manager she had met at the convention. Eva told Pageantry Magazine that, “The first day they signed me I had four auditions...It was pretty fast.” She quickly moved to Los Angeles and landed guest-starring roles on Beverly Hills 90210, General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless. In 2003, she took a role as a detective in a TV remake of LA Dragnet and made her big-screen film debut in Carlita’s Secret, and also starred in the films Harsh Times, and The Sentinel. Eva's is most well-known as the beautiful Gabrielle Solis on the award-winning Desperate Housewives on ABC.

Did you see IMTA alum Ashley Greene last night at the VMA'S? She looked amazing as she introduced Florence And The Machine with Jared Leto.

If you didn't see it, you're in luck! MTV is re-airing the entire awards show tonight complete with the pre-show (so you can catch Ashley's beautiful white carpet arrival!). Ashley is making many of the best-dressed lists for the event!

Sofia Vassilieva Supports Stand Up To Cancer!

IMTA alum Sofia Vassilieva will join several top celebrities for Stand Up to Cancer, a live telethon to raise money for cancer research. Sofia, who competed at IMTA in 2000, won a Young Artists Awards for BEST PERFORMANCE IN A FEATURE FILM for Supporting Young Actress for her outstanding job as Kate Fitzgerald in the film My Sister's Keeper! This film is a very touching and dramatic story about how one daughter finds out she was born as genetic match to keep her cancer-stricken older sister (played by Sofia) alive.

According to the Stand Up for Cancer Organization :"The Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) telecast will raise funds that will accelerate innovative cancer research. The live, one-hour fundraising event will be simulcast commercial-free on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, Bio, Current TV, Discovery Health, E!, G4, HBO, HBO Latino, MLB Network, mun2, Showtime, Smithsonian Channel, The Style Network, TV One and VH1 and hosted by network news anchors Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer and Brian Williams. Lyndsy Fonseca in Nikita Tonight!

The new CW primetime series Nikita starring IMTA alum Lyndsy Fonseca is premiering tonight!! Lyndsy plays Alex, a new recruit to the secret U.S. agency known only as the Division.

Lyndsy competed at IMTA in 2003 where she won 2nd Runner up for Young Miss Dancer of the Year and Honorable Mention Young Miss Talent of the Year. Lyndsy recently starred in the feature films Hot Tub Time Machine and Kick Ass. A new Kick Ass movie is currently in the works and Lyndsy will reprise her starring role. Lyndsy also guest-starred on Desperate Housewives from 2007 to 2009 (with fellow IMTA alum Eva Longoria!).

The Killers with Ashton Kutcher released today on DVD!

Ashton competed at IMTA in 1997 when he was awarded Most Sought After Male Model, which meant he had the most callback requests from the agents, managers and casting directors who were at IMTA scouting. Check out IMTA alum Joseph Castanon (aka Sir Castanon) in this just released awesome new music video called Chandelier! Joseph recently co-starred in the film Happiness Runs. Joseph plays the role of Little Mackie in this movie. Joseph competed at IMTA in 2004 where he met and signed with Martin Weiss Management.
