Alyson Stoner Special Edition of Camp Rock!

IMTA alum Alyson Stoner can be seen tonight on the Disney Channel! They're airing the Camp Rock What's What edition and the world premiere is tonight at 8/7c. This edition of the hit summer Disney film gives inside information about the cast and behind the scenes info that you haven't seen or heard anywhere else!

Alyson competed at IMTA in 2000 where she impressed the agents with her acting abilities and she has been wowing us ever since! From her starring roles in feature films such as Alice Upside Down to the Cheaper by the Dozen movies to dancing and touring with Missy Elliott, Alyson is a super star. She co-hosted Mike's SuperShort Show from 2002-2006 on the Disney channel and played the recurring character Max in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

Patricia Ashley on the Disney Channel!

IMTA alum Patricia Ashley continues to host the Disney interstitial Show Gotcha Covered! Gotcha Covered introduces the hottest new Video games for Wii, Nintendo DS and Sony PlayStation in between Disney shows. This month, three episodes are airing; Ener-G Gym Rockets, Bratz Girls Really Rock and My Secret World.

Patricia attended IMTA in 2005 where she received attention from many agents and managers. She is in the spotlight of the IMTA Model and Talent Newsletter this month where she describes her experience at IMTA as being AMAZING saying, “Where else can you meet hundreds of agents, managers and casting directors from all over the world, all in one place?” Patricia has also shot numerous commercials for companies such as Target, Sears and Old Navy and continues to audition for TV and Film projects. Patricia is represented by Kazarian/Spencer/Ruskin and Associates in Los Angeles.

Keri Lynn Pratt on Criminal Minds!

Keri Lynn Pratt will guest star as Ashley Holden on Criminal Minds airing tonight. This episode titled "52 Pick Up" is about a murdering pick up artist. Keri Lynn is currently filming A Single Man and recently wrapped production on the comedy I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell. She starred in the microseries on TBS called Commuter Confidential which aired over the summer.

Keri Lynn competed at IMTA in 1996. She went on to play Amber Trachtenberg (Calista Flockhart's assistant) in the hit ABC series Brothers and Sisters. She has appeared in a number of feature films, including America’s Sweethearts with Julia Roberts, Cruel Intentions 2 and the feature film version of Fat Albert. She has had guest-starring roles on many popular TV shows including Veronica Mars, Bones, 7th Heaven with fellow IMTA alum Jessica Biel, Nip/Tuck, Boston Public, Jack and Bobby, Crossing Jordan, House and CSI:NY.

Raini Rodriguez in Paul Blart Trailer

IMTA alum Raini Rodriguez is starring in the movie Paul Blart: Mall Cop. In this hilarious new film Raini will portray Maya, daughter of Paul Blart played by The King of Queens star Kevin James. The movie is about a mall security guard who no one takes seriously. When he rescues his daughter Maya and a mall worker from a group of organized crooks, he finally gets the respect he deserves. According to the Hollywood Reporter, filming took place in Boston with the director Steve Pink with a script by Kevin James and Nick Bakay.

Raini competed at IMTA in 2005 and took first place in Monologue and Commercial Print Competitions and placed in the top ten for Top Actress of the Year!! She has appeared in the short film Parker, and television shows such as The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Family of the Year, Huff, Black Shadows, and lent her voice to the animated Disney children's show Handy Manny.

This movie is scheduled for release on January 16, 2009!

Holly Owens in National Ad Campaign!

She competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2008. Holly was awarded Most Sought After Female Model and 1st Runner Up Junior Miss Model of the Year. After IMTA she signed with Vision Los Angeles, Elite Miami, Wilhelmina NY and Power Models Asia.

Tatiyana Cotton on Heroes!

IMTA alum Tatiyana Cotton booked and shot for the NBC hit series Heroes! She booked the job through MMG. In the episodes,Tatiyana plays a Haitian refugee. Tatiyana competed at IMTA in New York in 2007. She is scheduled to appear in four episodes of Heros and we are all looking forward to seeing her on this hit television show!

Sofia Vassilieva Update!

Sofia Vassilieva recently wrapped a film called My Sister’s Keeper. This is a very touching and dramatic story about how one daughter finds out she was born to help keep her older gravely ill sister alive and is based on a true story from Jodi Piccoult's novel My Sister's Keeper. It is truly a heart wrenching story which highlights how the moral and ethical decisions these parents made affected their two daughters. Cameron Diaz plays Sara Fitzgerald, Abigail Breslin plays Anna Fitzgerald, the younger sister and Sofia plays Kate Fitzgerald, the gravely ill sister.

IMTA alum Sofia also stars as Ariel Dubois, the daughter of the main character, Allison (Patricia Arquette) in the NBC hit series Medium. The show is an intriguing series based on a real-life story of a psychic who uses her abilities to solve crimes. Sofia competed at IMTA in New York, where she won the title of Child Actress of the Year and she was the first runner-up for Child Model of the Year 2000. She went on to star in many films such as Eloise at the Plaza, The Brady Bunch in the White House, the psychological thriller Inhabited and Day Zero. She recently wrapped Hurt about a widow and her children coping with loss and a new life. Sofia won a Best Supporting Young Artist Award in 2006 for Best Performance in a TV Drama.

Moises Arias Season 1 of Hannah Montana now on DVD!

IMTA alum Moises Arias has a new DVD available for sale now, the first season of Hannah Montana! This four disc set is a the compete first season with extras included! Moises plays Rico in Season 1 and Season 2 of the television show. He just wrapped Hannah Montana: The Movie, a Walt Disney Production based on the hit series. It will be a music-filled comedy adventure about Hannah Montana's popularity taking over Miley's character's life. Moises reprises his role of Rico for the big-screen treatment, which will be released in 2009.

Moises recently helped the non profit Team Up. According to Variety: " Their mission is to help save lives by taking the guns out of the hands of inner city youth and replacing those guns with video cameras. With those cameras the youth will educate, motivate and provide a positive alternative by showing kids how to capture their own futures. The program exposes a positive lifestyle through vision by saying "NO" to violence, drugs, teenage pregnancy, and crime, and saying "YES" to family values, education, and breaking negative cycles. "

He competed IMTA in Los Angeles in 2005 with his brother Mateo. Shortly after IMTA, Moises got his break with appearances on Everybody Hates Chris and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody before landing the role of Rico! He made his feature film debut in 2006 starring in Nacho Libre opposite Jack Black. Moises recently filmed the Disney TV movie Dadnapped with fellow Hannah Montana co-star Emily Osment. He starred in the film The Perfect Game, a baseball movie, which was released this past summer. Scheduled for release before the end of the year is Beethoven's Big Break, in which Moises stars with Jonathan Silverman, Rhea Perlman and Eddie Griffin.

C.J. Kirkham to be on Make Me a Super Model

IMTA alum C.J. Kirkham recently flew to New York City to film her debut for the reality show Make Me A Supermodel. C.J. was selected to be a part of the second season of the Bravo TV series, which will air beginning January 10, 2009! She will be one of 22 contestants who will live together while their professional modeling potential is challenged. First season contestants faced challenges such as modeling summer clothes in frigid weather in Times Square and modeling suits and dresses while being suspended from the ceiling on harnesses. The show is hosted by models Tyson Beckford and Niki Taylor. The winner will take home $100,000, get a modeling contract and a photo spread in a leading fashion magazine.
C.J. competed at IMTA in New York City in 2008. She did really well and received 58 callbacks from modeling agents from all over the world. At IMTA she won awards in Swimwear, Runway, Jeans and Fashion Print. Since IMTA she signed with Revolution Management Inc., a worldwide management company for models. It was at IMTA that she was pursued by the producers of Make Me A Supermodel, and she was cast for the show in August. She also did some photo shoots over the summer for a chocolate commercial that will air in Turkey. C.J. told the Oakland Tribune "I believe I can do this, I have a good support system and am really looking forward to what will happen (in New York). I don't give up and I have a competitive nature, I know what I want."

Kyle Avery Jones on Oprah Winfrey

Watch Oprah today to see IMTA alum Kyle Avery Jones! Kyle is featured in s segment called "The World's Most Talented Kids". They showcase Kyle as:"a boy who tap danced his way straight to Hollywood". Kyle competed at IMTA in New York City in 2006. He received alot of attention from the talent agents who were there scouting for new talent! Visit the show's official site to see Kyle dancing!

Steve Sandvoss and Brandon Routh in Fling!

Brandon Routh's latest film Fling (aka Lie to Me) is opening today in theaters! This film won awards at several film festivals where it was previewed. Fling actually stars two IMTA alumni; Steve Sandvoss and Brandon Routh! It is a romantic comedy about best friends, love and marriage. Brandon Routh plays the lead character James and Steve Sandvoss plays Mason.

Brandon will also be appearing in a new web series called Lawyers! According to Variety, the show will be, "a web venture designed to showcase the work of WGA (Writers Guild of America) members and pros from other guilds and unions. Lawyers! is series of webisodes written, produced, and directed for Strike TV by Gabe Grifoni & Suzanne Francis which will be launching later this month." After competing at IMTA New York 1999, Brandon said to IMTA in an interview, "It's great being here and meeting all the agents." Before Superman Returns, Brandon was best known for his soap work, including roles on One Life to Live and the MTV nighttime soap, Undressed. Brandon is in post production on four films; Life is Hot in Cracktown, Miss Nobody, Table for Three and Stuntman. He is currently in pre-production on a project called Dead of Night where he portrays Dylan Dog. Brandon is also in the hilarious film Zack and Miri in theaters now. He is currently filming Unthinkable, a thriller about the FBI and terrorist.

Steve competed at the L.A. 2003 IMTA Convention where he caught the eye of Al Onorato, the same manager who started Elijah Wood and Katie Holmes' careers. He was cast in Latter Days shortly after moving to L.A. to pursue his acting career. He also appeared in the feature film Rumor Has It with Jennifer Aniston. He recently wrapped Judy's Got a Gun with fellow IMTA alum Lauren Storm and the horror flick Buried Alive about kids who perform a college prank at an abandoned house and accidentally awaken a frightening ghost. His television appearances include roles on Nip/Tuck, Cold Case, Grey's Anatomy, Dr. Vegas and American Dreams. Steve is in post-production on film Exquisite Corpse.

Hector Bucio in Disney's Movie Surfers and In2ition!

IMTA alum Hector Bucio made his debut appereance this fall as a Disney Movie Surfer on the Disney channel!! On the Disney Movie Surfers segments, teenagers go behind the scenes of Walt Disney/Pixar films in videos that are periodically shown following Disney movies and shows. Bucio is currently featured interviewing his own favorite actor George Lopez in the Movie Surfers video of Beverly Hills Chihuahua.

Hector competed at IMTA in New York City in 2005. Hector received a lot of interest from the talent agents and managers who were at the convention scouting for new talent. He signed with Hines and Hunt Management and Coast to Coast in Los Angeles. He has had guest appearances on television in Just Jordan, the Heather Locklear pilot Women of a Certain Age and Zoey 101. Hector has appeared in various national ad campaigns for Old Navy, Chevy Tahoe, JC Penney, Coca-Cola, Sears and T-Mobile.

Hector is currently working on a new interactive web series called In2ition. Tubefilter News describes the show: “For nearly 150 years, The Program has pursued its secret mission to identify and develop the ‘abilities’ of individuals with paranormal powers. This is the introduction to In2ition, the new interactive supernatural conspiracy thriller from Take 180, which has produced three original web series since its soft launch in July. Hope Fox, played by up-and-comer Emily Pennington, has abandoned friends and family to go on the run when The Intuitive Genetics Program abducts her boyfriend Zain (Hector Bucio). Hope uses her special powers to guide herself—think Bourne Conspiracy meets Minority Report, except she needs your help."

Sean competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2006 where he won first runner up for Male Model of the Year and signed with the legendary Major Model Management team. He has been featured in the magazine Arena, Europe's premier modeling magazine, GQ where he was featured solo in a six page photo layout, in an editorial spread in Details, on the cover of the Japanese Magazine called HUGE, on the homepage for Eluxury and in a Diesel campaign ad. Sean is a favorite runway model and appeared in an astounding number of shows during the past season! He was in a Spring/Summer ad campaign for Dolce And Gabbana with fellow IMTA grad and supermodel Tyson Ballou. He has modeled for Y-3 and Calvin Klein, Dior, Diesel, Lucien Palley Finet and many more.

Happily Eva After!

Eva Longoria Parker is featured on the September cover of Latina magazine. On a beautiful Los Angeles day, Serena Kim interviewed Eva about her life as an actress and wife and charities. "When history books are written about her, she will be known as somebody who is very community-oriented. She's raised $11 million for philanthropy," stated Mario Lopez.

Nino Munoz photographed Eva while Jessica Paster styled her in a classic tulle bustier dress by Louis Vuitton with hair and makeup done by Ken Paves and Elan Bongiorno.

Eva competed at IMTA in 1998 and had 38 agencies and managers interested in representing her! She signed with a manager she had met at the convention. Eva told Pageantry Magazine that “The first day they signed me I had four auditions...It was pretty fast.” She quickly moved to Los Angeles and landed guest-starring roles on Beverly Hills 90210, General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless. In 2003, she took a role as a detective in a TV remake LA Dragnet and made her big-screen film debut in Carlita’s Secret, and starred in the films Harsh Times, and The Sentinel. Eva's breakthrough role is as the beautiful Gabrielle Solis on the award-winning Desperate Housewives on ABC.

Seann William Scott and IMTA on Ellen!

Be sure to watch The Ellen Degeneres Show today on your local NBC affiliate! Seann William Scott will be a guest, promoting his latest hit film Role Models!

Ellen has a history of showing stars footage of themselves at IMTA. She surprised Josh Duhamel by showing video of him competing at the 1997 IMTA Convention. He was floored to see himself in the skin-tight runway outfit modeling on the IMTA runway, showing the agents, managers and VIP's his modeling potential! The next time he was a guest on the show, he surprised Ellen...they played the clip again and he stripped off his outer outfit to reveal the clothing he had worn in the IMTA runway competition! In 1997, Model TV (a syndicated E! production) covered the IMTA Convention and shot footage of Josh Duhamel, Ashton Kutcher, Riley Smith, Michael Altman and many other models and actors who were competing that year at IMTA. This footage is often shown around the world on Entertainment and News programs about these stars!

The Bold & The Beautiful IMTA news!

IMTA alum Drew Tyler Bell is reprising his role as Thomas Forrester on The Bold & The Beautiful! He is guest-starring in three very special episodes and fans are clamoring for more! Drew competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2001. Drew competed in acting and modeling competitions and even made it to the talent showcase with his dance performance. He attracted a lot of agency interest and signed and moved to L.A.

Drew Tyler Bell has also guest-starred on CW's 90210 and ABC Family's series The Middleman! Drew has appeared in the feature films The Seeker: The Dark is Rising and Her Best Move. He was also part of the cast of the hit Broadway show Spring Awakenings for a limited engagement.

The Bold & The Beautiful has another IMTA alumni who is a series regular. Kyle Lowder plays Rick and his storyline is the dominant plot point right now! His character has been injured and is possibly paralyzed.

Kyle joined the cast of the hit daytime drama The Bold & The Beautiful in 2007! Playing Rick Forrester, Kyle is actually resuming a role that was originally played by another IMTA alum, Justin Torkildsen who played the character for four years. Kyle competed at IMTA and won Male Model of the Year and Most Sought After in 2000. He made a huge impression at IMTA and was considered a " triple threat" because of his abilities in modeling, acting and singing.

Seann William Scott feature film opens today!

It's opening weekend for IMTA alum Seann William Scott's hilarious feature film Role Models! In this comedy, Seann stars as Wheeler, an immature and obnoxious energy drink salesman. When he and his partner in sales get in trouble with the law, they have to perform 150 hours of community service as mentors for the Sturdy Wings organization. They each get assigned a child to mentor and watching Wheeler try to mentor his troubled young charge is hysterical!!!

Seann competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 1995. His break-through role was as Stifler in the hit comedy American Pie and in the cult movie Dude Where's my Car? which had him teaming up with a fellow IMTA alum Ashton Kutcher. He has also starred in The Dukes of Hazzard, The Rundown, Bulletproof Monk, Ice Age: The Meltdown, Trainwreck: My Life as an Idiot, Southland Tales and The Promotion. His most recent film, Mr. Woodcock was a top ten box office hit!

Jennifer Belander in Shooting Clouds!

IMTA alum Jennifer Belander is starring in the play Shooting Clouds - Shattered Dreams / Wounded Pride. This play was written by Frank Bramwell and is playing at The Union Theatre in London's prestigious West End. The play is set in 1958 in Sluice Creek, Georgia- a small town with close-minded people. The play is about family problems including alcoholism, rivalries and ambition. Jennifer plays Mary, the mother who is very passive and accommodating. Reviewers have raved about her performance, saying, "Jennifer Belander gives a magnificent performance as Mary, the mother. She is the very model of a submissive “Stepford” wife – in doll like make up, always in a pinny, always making cookies, always keeping her smile in place. And yet one can sense the dissatisfaction and the underlying strength of character right from the beginning."

Jennifer competed at IMTA in 1990 and moved to Los Angeles shortly after. She currently lives in London where she has been in many plays. One of the best known plays she was in was the production of Steve Martin’s popular Picasso at the Lapin Agile where she played Einstein! She has appeared in both commercials and in film. Alyson Stoner in remake of Thriller!

Check out Alyson Stoner in Adam Sevani's remake of the iconic Thriller video! This project is a tribute video to the 25th anniversary of the Michael Jackson hit. It was released on Halloween and has been viewed more than half a million times! Alyson looks gorgeous in her role as the main dancer's date.

Taylor Randall on The Price is Right!

Be sure to watch The Price is Right today and see IMTA alum Taylor Randall win big!!! He is the biggest prize winner since Drew Carey started hosting the beloved game show! Taylor competed at IMTA in New York City in 2007 where he won an Honorable Mention for Junior Male Model of the Year. He signed with manager Steve Nash. He recently started training at The New York Film Academy at Universal Studios in Los Angeles.

Tayor has starred in and directed several Indie films including Coppers, Coppers 2, and Make Me Jealous.

Kristin Hansen on the cover of Enchanted Brides Magazine!

IMTA alum Kristin Hansen appears on the cover of the Fall issue of Enchanted Brides Magazine. She is featured in a beautiful editorial spread in the issue as well. Kristin is also the Head Promotional Model in the United States for the SMILEY Fragrance Line and has modeled for Ford Motors, Saturn, Chevrolet and Cadillac.

Kristin competed at the LA 2006 IMTA where she was won Actress of the Year. She received a scholarship to the Adam Hill Actors' Studio in New York where she continues to study. Kristin was also the recipient of the Miss Congeniality Award in the Miss North Carolina USA 2006 Pageant.
Her TV credits include: Law and Order, Lipstick Jungle, One Life to Live, Gossip Girl , Rescue Me, Kings, One Life to Live,and E. She has been in the following films: Confessions of a Shopaholic, When in Rome with IMTA alum Josh Duhamel and Duplicity.
