IMTA alum and superstar Ashton Kutcher is starring in a new ad campaign for Nikon's new COOLPIX Style series cameras. The campaign started yesterday with tv commercials, print and interactive online ads will follow. Ashton was picked by Nikon because he has such a broad appeal to people from various backgrounds. Lisa Baxt from Nikon said: "Ashton is the perfect choice for this campaign as he embodies both the stylish and fun attributes of Nikon's COOLPIX Style series cameras... Ashton's collaborative spirit, creativity and approachable personality enhanced our campaign which showcases the great style, sleek colorful design and ease of use of Nikon's newest COOLPIX Style series cameras."
Ashton competed at IMTA in 1997 where he won IMTA's "Most Sought After Male Model!" With the most callbacks of any other male model that year, he chose to sign with NEXT MODELS and began working immediately, appearing in many different men's fashion magazines. He didn't limit himself to just modeling and acting, but he also started producing shows, such as Punk'd, Beauty and the Geek and a new show airing on ABC on Thursdays called Miss Guided. His movie and television roles include The Guardian, Dude, Where's My Car? which also stars fellow IMTA alum Seann William Scott, The Butterfly Effect, and That 70's Show. His romantic comedy movie What Happens in Vegas is due in theaters on May 9. To see more of Ashton or get information visit Nikon's official site.
