Haley Bennett in She Lived

Haley Bennett just wrapped the dramatic thriller movie She Lived which is scheduled for release later this year. She plays Molly a 17 year old girl who was stabbed by her mother and although she has recovered phsyically she is still grappling with the psychological damage. Her father moves her to a new school to try to help her recover from her past trauma.

Haley, who competed at IMTA in 2001, made her feature film debut in the wildly popular movie Music and Lyrics with Hugh Grant. The Music and Lyrics soundtrack is available in the iTunes store and has tracks sung by Haley. She sings "Buddha's Delight," "Entering Bootytown," "Slam," and does a duet with Hugh Grant entitled "Way Back Into Love." From the dance melody in "Slam" to the love ballad of "Way Back Into Love," Haley demonstrates her true musical talent for audiences of all ages to enjoy. IMTA Colleagues New Show Premiering on Nick!

Long-time IMTA colleagues Bryan Leder and Frederick Levy have joined with Nickelodeon to
create Dance on Sunset, an action-packed new children's show aimed at getting kids involved and off the couch. It is filmed before a live audience at the Nickelodeon Studios! The show will debut Saturday night, following the Kids Choice Awards! Then you can catch it weekly on Sundays at 8:30pm on Nickelodeon. The show will feature Quddus Phillippe as host, Nick 6 professional dancers, hot musical acts and choreographer Tony Testa.

Marjorie Cohn, Nickelodeon's Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development said, "Dance on Sunset is a hybrid...because we do have a competition aspect and a freestyle aspect. But it will also feel like a real lifestyle show. It will be one of the hottest parties on the air." "Music and dance are very important to kids right now, and we want to be everyplace they are, and we want to do it the Nickelodeon way," said Cohn.

Each week, Testa and the Nick 6 will teach an original dance in an easy to learn format so the audience and viewers at home can follow along! Dance on Sunset will also tap into its live studio audience for contestants to compete weekly for the "Sunset VIP" title through a series of freestyle dance competitions. Viewers can also learn the dance steps seen on the show via Nick's official site!

Stars slated to perform include Ashlee Simpson, Sean Kingston, Akon with Colbie and Menudo.
Among the guest-stars on tap are Janet Jackson, Omarion and Nickelodeon's own Miranda Cosgrove (star of Nickelodeon's hit comedy iCarly) and The Naked Brothers Band.

Leder, of BLT/Bryan Leder Management, and Levy, of Management 101, have been participating in talent seminars and looking for new talent at IMTA conventions for many years.

Watch tomorrow to see if Josh Duhamel's movie wins award!

The Kids' Choice Awards 2008 airs tomorrow on Nickelodeon and IMTA alum Josh Duhamel's smash hit film Transformers: The Movie is up to win the night's biggest award "Best Movie!" Hosted by Jack Black, the awards show features some of the hottest celebs who are kids' favorites. Josh is a daytime Emmy winning actor as well as eight nominations from the Teen Choice Awards during the last few years. Transformers: The Movie was the #1 movie of the summer! It also won an MTV Movie Award! While you are rooting for Josh to win for Transformers, keep look out for other IMTA alum scheduled to attend including Aria Wallace, Ashton Kutcher, Moises Arias, and Alyson Stoner.

Josh won Male Model of the Year at IMTA in 1997 where he competed against another very high profile IMTA alum, Ashton Kutcher. After IMTA, Duhamel landed his first acting job playing the title character in Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, and he soon began acting on All My Children playing a role that won him a Daytime Emmy in 2002. Josh left daytime tv for his breakthrough role on the hit series Las Vegas. This exciting show was a hit on NBC for five seasons.

Alyson Stoner in a Camp Rock Sneak Peak!

IMTA Alumni Alyson Stoner and Disney fans are in for a sneak peek at the Disney's Channel's big summer movie Camp Rock! Disney will air the first real look at what may be this summer's High School Musical after a marathon and new episode of The Wizards of Waverly Place marathon on April 6th. Camp Rock will air in June on the Disney Channel. In this new and exciting dance and musical film, Alyson plays Caitlyn.


Alyson competed at IMTA in New York City in 2000 and has been a working actress ever since. She is an extremely talented dancer and appeared in several Missy Elliot videos as well as toured with her. She starred in Alice Upside Down, the Cheaper by the Dozen movies, is the voice of Holly Hobbie in the dvd's Holly Hobbie and Friends, of KidRat in the Garfield movie, of Victoria in the movie Lilo and Stitch: The Series, and co-hosted Disney's Mike's Supershort Show for four years. She has also guest-starred in Drake and Josh, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and That's So Raven. You can hear Alyson as the voice of Isabella in Disney's new cartoon Phineas and Ferb now playing on the Disney Channel.

Ashton Kutcher in Nikon Camera Ad Campaign


IMTA alum and superstar Ashton Kutcher is starring in a new ad campaign for Nikon's new COOLPIX Style series cameras. The campaign started yesterday with tv commercials, print and interactive online ads will follow. Ashton was picked by Nikon because he has such a broad appeal to people from various backgrounds. Lisa Baxt from Nikon said: "Ashton is the perfect choice for this campaign as he embodies both the stylish and fun attributes of Nikon's COOLPIX Style series cameras... Ashton's collaborative spirit, creativity and approachable personality enhanced our campaign which showcases the great style, sleek colorful design and ease of use of Nikon's newest COOLPIX Style series cameras."

Ashton competed at IMTA in 1997 where he won IMTA's "Most Sought After Male Model!" With the most callbacks of any other male model that year, he chose to sign with NEXT MODELS and began working immediately, appearing in many different men's fashion magazines. He didn't limit himself to just modeling and acting, but he also started producing shows, such as Punk'd, Beauty and the Geek and a new show airing on ABC on Thursdays called Miss Guided. His movie and television roles include The Guardian, Dude, Where's My Car? which also stars fellow IMTA alum Seann William Scott, The Butterfly Effect, and That 70's Show. Farah Fath Annouces the Emmy Awards on The View

IMTA alum Farah Fath will be joining the cast of the daytime talk show The View to help announce the nominations for this year's Daytime Emmy Awards on Wednesday April, 30th on ABC. Farah will be joined by other daytime television stars to announce who is in the running to take home a Daytime Emmy Award this year. The actual Awards will be given out at the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony which will take place in Hollywood on Friday, June 20 and will be televised on ABC. These awards acknowledge excellent achievements in all areas of daytime television and are sponsored by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Farah started playing Gigi Morasco on One Life to Live this past Fall. She portrayed the role of Mimi Lockhart on Days of Our Lives for an incredible eight years prior to joining One Life to Live. Farah competed at IMTA twice, once when she was a little girl and again as a teenager. She said the first time she wasn't ready to take it seriously but the second time she knew what she wanted and she was ready. She met managers and agents at IMTA who encouraged her to move from Lexington, Kentucky to L.A. and the rest is Hollywood history! She was cast on Days after her very first audition! Farah is not only talented and beautiful but she is a gracious and kind person too, often contributing and making appearances for charities. Raini Rodriguez in a New Movie

IMTA alum, Raini Rodriguez is getting prepared to start filming a comedy feature film rumored to be called Mall Cop and scheduled for release in January of 2009. According to the Hollywood Reporter filming will begin this month in Boston, with Steve Pink directing from a script by James and Nick Bakay. Raini will play Maya Blart, daughter of Paul Blart played by Kevin James in this film about a mall security guard who no one takes seriously. When he rescues his daughter Maya and a Mall worker from a group of organized crooks, he finally gets the respect he deserves.

Raini competed at IMTA in 2005 and took first place in monologue and commercial print competitions and placed in the top ten for top actress of the year!! She has appeared in the short film Parker, and television shows such as The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Family of the Year, Huff, Black Shadows, and lent her voice to the animated Disney children's show Handy Manny. Adrianne Palicki Update!

IMTA alum Adrianne Palicki is in the news and on newstands lately! Her beloved NBC series Friday Night Lights is reported to have an imminent renewal for a third season! She's also had some gorgeous layouts in several magazines. She is on the cover of this month's Ocean Magazine and was in the November 2007 issue of Ocean Drive. She was also named one of the "Girls to Watch of 2008" by FHM Magazine- UK. And she appeared in the video "We Are the Ones" by Black Eyed Peas front man Will I. Am supporting Barack Obama! Jessica Alba, Ryan Phillipe, George Lopez and many other stars appear in the very cool video. The stars offer reasons they believe in Barack Obama. Look for her in the beginning and at 2:30 where she says,"I believe in Barack Obama because he believes in us."

Adrianne competed at IMTA in New York City in 2001 and was signed by an agent. During an interview with the IMTA Video Crew, she said,"It was amazing. I love IMTA. I'm so sad it's over." She went on to work in both film and television. Her first feature-film was 7 Mummies, she starred as Judy Robinson in the television pilot The Robinsons: Lost in Space, and she had a much larger role in the feature film Popstar. Her television credits include guest appearances on Smallville, CSI, North Shore, South Beach and Supernatural. She was recently named one of Maxim magazine's Hot 100 of 2007 list.

Seann William Scott in Southland Tales now out on DVD!

Southland Tales starring IMTA alum Seann William Scott is now available on DVD! Seann plays an L.A. cop in this dark and dramatic story set in the future. Sean is currently working on a comedy film called Coxblocker due in theaters in 2009. This film has Seann playing a girl's ex-boyfriend/new best friend who is thwarting her new boyfriend's moves while trying to get her back.

Seann competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 1995. His break-through role was as Stifler in the incredibly funny comedy American Pie and in the cult movie Dude Where's my Car? which has him teaming up with a fellow IMTA alum Ashton Kutcher. He has starred in The Dukes of Hazzard, The Rundown, Bulletproof Monk, Ice Age: The Meltdown, and Trainwreck: My Life as an Idiot. Seann was featured on a national Sunny Delight commercial, in an American Express ad campaign with Magic Johnson, had a recurring role in the WB TV series Unhappily Ever After and had a lead role in the rock group Aerosmith's music video, Hole in My Soul . His most recent and hysterical film, Mr. Woodcock was a top ten box office hit! To see Seann on TV tune into the USA channel this Sunday, March 23 for an encore presentation of The Dukes of Hazzard or to the MAX channel to hear him in Ice Age: The Meltdown.

Elijah Wood makes EW's prestigious list!

Congratulations to Elijah Wood for earning a spot on Entertainment Weekly's "Top Actors Under 30" list! The A list names the top thirty male actors under the age of thirty. Elijah is number two on the list! You can see read more about Elijah's honor on EW's official site!

Elijah got his start at IMTA in 1989 when he caught the eye of the famed superagent Al Onorato. He moved from Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Los Angeles and booked his first roles in Paula Abdul's memorable video Straight Up and the feature film Back to the Future Part II. Elijah has starred in over 40 feature films in his career and is one of Hollywood's (and IMTA's!) most-loved actors!

IMTA INSIDER SCOOP: We'll never forget Elijah's performance during the Talent Showcase when he forgot a few of the words to the song he was singing, Don't Worry Be Happy. He did an impromptu duet with our emcee Russ Fega that had the whole crowd rooting for him. The entire Talent Showcase audience was charmed by his ability to recover. Elijah's song got a huge round of applause!

Brooke Burns in Miss Guided Tonight

Two IMTA alums will be premiering their talents tonight on ABC! Ashton Kutcher is the executive producer for a new hilarious comedy series! It also stars IMTA alum Brooke Burns as Lisa Germain. Miss Guided is slated to premiere tonight on the ABC Television Network. In the show, a guidance counselor who goes back to her alma mater to work and realizes the high-school experience hasn't changed much. Brooke plays her former nemesis and the school's gorgeous new English teacher. On Friday March 20, Ashton Kutcher who is the series Executive Producer, has Jamie Lynn Spears guest star in an episode with him titled Hot Sub. Ashton plays the role of a sexy substitute Spanish teacher.

Brooke attended IMTA in 1994 in Los Angeles. After pursuing a modeling career, Brooke starting working in television, appearing on shows such as A Nero Wolfe Mystery, Ally McBeal, Baywatch, North Shore and Pepper Dennis. She also hosted the game show/reality show hybrid, Dog Eat Dog. She has also starred in movies such as The Salon.

Ashton competed at IMTA in 1997 where he won IMTA's "Most Sought After Male Model!" With the most callbacks of any other male model that year, he chose to sign with NEXT MODELS and began working immediately, appearing in many different men's fashion magazines. Jessica Biel in Nailed!

IMTA alum and superstar Jessica Biel is getting prepared to start filming Nailed, a major feature film that will soon begin filming in South Carolina. This movie will be produced by Red Wagon Entertainment, Persistent Entertainment, The Gotham Group, directed by David O. Russell and is based on a political farce. The screenplay was written by David O. Russell and Kristin Gore, the daughter of Former Vice President Gore. Jessica will play Sammy Joyce a receptionist who does not have health insurance and goes to Washington to fight for the rights of the injured and uninsured.

Jessica has made an impact ever since she competed at IMTA in 1994. She was so talented in every competition that many of the managers and scouts there were interested in her. After competing at IMTA she got her breakthrough role was as Mary Camden on the very popular WB series 7th Heaven. She has gone on to star in many major motion pictures such as The Illusionist, Stealth, Elizabethtown, Home of the Brave and Next. She recently wrapped the comedy film A Women of No Importance which is based on on a play by the famous writer Oscar Wilde and just wrapped the movie Powder Blue. Jessica was was seen most recently in hilarious comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. We all look forward to seeing Jessica on the big screen in Nailed!

Sean Faris Stars in Never Back Down in Theaters Now!


Sean Faris is starring in a new movie called Never Back Down which was produced by Summit Entertainment and is premiering in theaters today! This movie tells the story of a teenager who gets into an underground fight club at his new school. Sean plays Jake, a new and unpopular teen in town. When he starting studying with the local martial arts master and learns self defense, he protects not only himself but also the geeks from the bullies. Along the way, he also learns many other important life skills such as patience, discipline, and maturity.

Sean competed at IMTA in 1999 and won Junior Male Model of the Year and he has been working in the industry ever since. Currently Sean is filming the lead role in The Glass Eye which he is also producing with his manager Dino May. Some of his past projects include the motion picture Pearl Harbor, Brooklyn to Manhattan, the TV show Reunion, the cult classic Life as We Know It, the feature film Forever Strong and Sleepover with two IMTA alums, Kallie Childress and Mika Boorem. He has been featured in several memorable campaigns and magazines, including Abercrombie & Fitch, GQ, Teen Vogue and Armani. Melody Woodin in Marie Claire

Melody Woodin is featured in a beautiful layout in the March 2008 issue of Marie Claire UK in a feature article called Cherry Blossom Girl. This beautiful editorial was shot by fashion photographer Joshua Gordon. Melody was featured in an eleven page layout in the January 2008 edition of Marie Claire US modeling clothes and accessories by Helmut Lang, DKNY, Giorgio Armani, Forever 21, Chloe, Celine, Lanvin, and Versace.

Melody competed at IMTA in 2004 and won Model of the Year. She signed with the prestigious international modeling agency Women Management. She is also represented by Nathalie in Paris. She is a favorite runway, editorial and commercial model. Melody has modeled for some of the most highly influential and highly respected fashion designers in the world such as: Christian Dior, Badgley Mischka, Marc Jacobs, Oscar De La Renta, Luca Luca and appeared in a print ad for the Biore facial products.

Brandon Routh in Fear Itself

IMTA alum Brandon will be starring in a new horror mini- series called Fear Itself. This mini series will be comprised of 13 episodes all featuring famous horror writers, actors, and directors. It will be brought to television by Lionsgate and Industry Entertainment. Some of the infamous names attached to this project are John Landis ("An American Werewolf in London"), Ernest Dickerson (NBC's Heroes).Darren Bousman (Saw II, III and IV), Ronny Yu (Freddy vs. Jason, Bride of Chucky), Brad Anderson (The Machinist), Breck Eisner (upcoming Universal Pictures film Creature from the Black Lagoon), Mary Harron (American Psycho) and Stuart Gordon (Re-Animator). Fear Itself is designed to have very scary story lines that people will remember forever and Brandon will be part of that history!
Brandon Routh steamed up the screen as Superman/Clark Kent in Superman Returns last summer! Brandon competed at IMTA in 1999 in New York City and was a favorite with the agents, managers and casting directors. Routh was chosen for the role of Superman following an exhaustive search that spanned the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. Prior to his break through role as the Man of Steel, Routh was best known for his soap work, including roles on One Life to Live and the MTV nighttime soap, Undressed. He's also had guest-starring roles on Cold Case, Will & Grace, and Gilmore Girls. Brandon recently wrapped the dramatic film, Life is Hot in Cracktown which is scheduled for release this year. Sofia Vassilieva in Medium Tonight!

IMTA alum Sofia Vassilieva is starring in a new episode of the hit NBC series Medium Tonight. This is the fourth season of the intriguing series based on a real-life story and tonight's episode is called Burn Baby Burn, Sofia plays Ariel Dubois, the daughter of the main character, Allison (Patricia Arquette). This episode is an exciting two parter with the second installment airing March 17.
Sofia competed at IMTA in New York, where she won the title of Child Actress of the Year and she was the first runner-up for Child Model of the Year 2000. She went on to star in many films such as Eloise at the Plaza, The Brady Bunch in the White House, the psychological thriller Inhabited and Day Zero. She recently wrapped Hurt about a widow and her children coping with loss and a new life. Sofia won a Best Supporting Young Artist Award in 2006 for Best Performance in a TV Drama.

Sofia is currently in negotiations to star in the film called My Sister’s Keeper. This is a very touching and dramatic story about how one daughter finds out she was born to help keep her older gravely ill sister alive and is based on a true story.

Dominic Janes in Dexter now on CBS!

IMTA alum Dominic Janes is starring in a recurring role on the forensic crime drama Dexter now airing on CBS! He plays young Dexter in an episode called Let's Give the Boy a Hand airing on CBS March 9. This show is about a man named Dexter Morgan who during the day works for the police department. His dark side comes out at night as he becomes a vigilante, tracking down and murdering the serial killers that he looks for during the day. This show is based on the novels Darkly Dreaming Dexter, Dearly Devoted Dexter and Dexter in the Dark by Jeff Lindsay.

Dominic competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2004 and signed with Rising Talent Management. His first movie role was in the comedy Wild Hogs, he starred on the hit drama ER for two seasons and appeared in Crossing Jordan. He is currently starring in a new show called Out of Jimmy's Head which plays on Cartoon Network. This show is a cutting-edge combination of live actors working with cartoons and stars another IMTA alum Jon Kent Etheridge. Ashton Kutcher in a New Film

IMTA alum Ashton Kutcher has been very busy and has various projects in the works. He is starting filming the indie comedy Spread this week in Los Angeles. The story revolves around a serial dater and the women he has spurned and will be directed by David Mackenzie.

ABC just announced that Ashton and Tyra Banks are teaming up to produce a reality show for the network. The new and unscripted series will be produced through Warner Horizon and Ashton's company Katalyst and it has been reported that ABC ordered eight episodes. Ashton is also in the midst of casting and producing a new show called Game Show in My Head for CBS. The contestants will be fitted with an earpiece, which they will receive instructions from requesting them to do unusual tasks in public. If they follow the directions they win money if they choose not to follow the directions they lose.

Kutcher recently wrapped two films, Personal Effects with Michelle Pfeiffer and Kathy Bates and What Happens in Vegas with Cameron Diaz which is set for release in May. He competed at IMTA in 1997 where he won the title of "Most Sought After Male Model!" Ashton had the most callbacks of any male model that year. Watch for Ashton in all of his exciting upcoming projects.

Sean Harju in Details Magazine!

Check out these gorgeous shots of Sean Harju featured in the March issue of Details magazine. Sean is modeling three different looks in an article called How to Wear a Spring Suit. The first outfit is called the " Modern Look" is designed by by Jil Sander, tie by Dunhill. The second look is called " Dressy Linen" with the suit, shirt, and tie designed by Michael Bastian, the tie bar by Tiffany & Co., and shoes by Polo by Ralph Lauren. The last look is dubbed the "Chino" and was the suit was designed by DSquared, shirt by Unis, tie by Robert Talbott and tie bar by Brooks Brothers. All of these fabulous looks were taken by fashion photographer Peter Stanglmayr.











Sean Harju, IMTA's gorgeous 1st Runner Up Male Model of The Year '06 appeared in the Thom Browne show, Y-3 and Zegna shows recently in The Fall 2008 collections which were presented February 1 -8 in Bryant Park in New York City. Sean has been featured in the last 4 issues of Details magazine. In March's issue he has two fashion stories and the Diesel campaign ad. Jessica White in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue!



Check out the new issue of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition featuring the stunning supermodel and IMTA alum Jessica White. These incredible photos were shot on the beautiful island of Maui! This issue marks the the fifth year Jessica has graced the pages of this world renown and popular issue of Sports Illustrated. In the accompanying article Jessica talks about her life, what she would do if she did not have any responsibilities, and the last thing she splurged on, among many other interesting topics. The photos were shot by famed photographers such as Stewart Shining and Jessica can been seen modeling swimsuits by Cia. Maritima, ARAKS and Ginger's Island. Jessica competed at IMTA in 1999. She is signed with Elite Model Management and has an exclusive Maybelline contract. Jessica Biel Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Jessica!

Jessica competed at IMTA in 1994. Her first big role was as Mary Camden on the incredibly popular WB series 7th Heaven. She has gone on to star in many major motion pictures such as I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, The Illusionist, Stealth, Elizabethtown, Home of the Brave and Next. She recently wrapped two films A Women of No Importance and Powder Blue. Jessica is currently filming a movie based on a Noel Coward play called Easy Virtue. She is also working on the animated action adventure called Planet 51. This film is about aliens who worry about invasion and the freak out when a human lands on their planet. Jessica is not only talented and beautiful she has a big heart as well. One of the charities Jessica supports is the nonprofit, no kill Much Love Animal Rescue organization which works to reduce overpopulation and mistreatment of domestic animals.
