Katie Holmes is the New Face for Miu Miu!!

Check out these gorgeous shots of IMTA alum Katie Holmes in her new ad campaign for Miu Miu, the fashion clothing line by Prada! Katie is Miu Miu's new face for their Spring/Summer 2009 campaign. The striking shots were photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Holmes portrays “a luminous icon radiating a sense of mystery and theatricality.”

Katie competed at IMTA twice, in 1993 and 1995 . She returned a couple of years later to present awards at IMTA and debuted the first fifteen minutes of the pilot episode of Dawson's Creek. The entire ballroom was riveted by this ground-breaking stylish teen drama and Katie received thunderous applause! On that special night, she gave us a very nice interview saying:

"Let's just say a girl from Toledo, Ohio wouldn't end up cast in a Hollywood movie if it weren't for IMTA!"

Katie has starred in many feature films including Mad Money, Teaching Mrs. Tingle, Pieces of April, Batman Begins and Thank You for Smoking. Katie was recently on the cover of T, The New York Times Style Magazine! She also recently wrapped a very successful and critically acclaimed run of the Broadway play All My Sons by Arthur Miller.

Raini Rodriguez in Paul Blart Mall Cop!!!

Get to theaters today to see IMTA alum Raini Rodriguez starring in the movie Paul Blart Mall Cop. In this hilarious new film, Raini portrays Maya, daughter of Paul Blart played by The King of Queens star Kevin James. The movie is about a mall security guard who no one takes seriously. When he rescues his daughter Maya and a mall worker from a group of organized crooks, he finally gets the respect he deserves. According to the Hollywood Reporter, filming took place in Boston with the director Steve Pink with a script by Kevin James and Nick Bakay.

Raini competed at IMTA in 2005 and won first place in Monologue and Commercial Print Competitions and placed in the top ten for Top Actress of the Year!! She has appeared in the short film Parker, and television shows such as The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Family of the Year, Huff, Black Shadows, The No Sit List and lent her voice to the animated Disney children's show Handy Manny.
