More Josh, Elijah and Katie in J. Crew for their film The Romantics!

Check out these just-released shots of IMTA alumni Josh Duhamel, Katie Holmes, Elijah Wood and fellow castmates wearing clothing from J. Crew from their new movie The Romantics. This film is due in theaters January 2010.

Katie attended IMTA in 1993 and 1995, where she met and signed with her manager Al Onorato and landed the role as Joey Potter on Dawson's Creek. Since her role on Dawson's Creek, Katie has been in many hit movies such as Go, Pieces of April, Batman Begins, and Mad Money. Katie is currently filming the TV series The Kennedys where she portrays Jackie Kennedy.

Josh Duhamel attended IMTA 1997, where he was awarded the prestigious title of Male Model of the Year! Josh edged out fellow competitor Ashton Kutcher to win the big prize. After IMTA, Josh landed a role on the popular daytime drama All My Children, on the TV drama Las Vegas and began starring in films such as Win A Date with Tad Hamilton! and When in Rome. His most current projects include Life As We Know It, Tranformers 3, What's He Got? and Beezus and Ramona!
IMTA Alum'89 Elijah Wood is in a cool video for The Apples in Stereo! After competing at IMTA, Elijah has gone on to star in over 40 feature films. His film Happy Feet won a BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Children's Award in London! Elijah provides the voiceover for the main character Mumble. Currently, Elijah is post productiom on Happy Feet 2 which was done in 3D! This film is scheduled for release in November, 2011.

IMTA Alum Eva Longoria presents at The Emmy Awards!

Tune in to ABC on August 29 to see the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards. IMTA alum Eva Longoria Parker will be among the stars handing out trophies. The Emmy Awards recognize excellence within various areas of the TV industry and are a symbol of peer recognition from over 15,000 members of the Academy. The Emmy Awards celebrate excellence in national programming, awarding top honors at the annual creative arts gala and primetime awards telecast.

Eva competed at IMTA in 1998 and wowed all the agents and managers scouting at IMTA. She received 38 callbacks from representatives who wanted to sign her! She signed with a manager she had met at the convention and went on to star in the hit TV show Desperate Housewives. The new season of Desperate Housewives is set to premiere October 3 and Eva will reprise her role as the fabulous Gabby Solis.

Joey Hagler in Backlight!

IMTA alum Joey Hagler was recently cast by director Patrick Baca in a starring role in the feature film Backlight. According to IMDB, the film is about: "Several individuals (who) have suffered tragedies in their lives, it takes the supernatural to bring them all together in one place out in the middle of the desert to help them bring closure with all that's happened."

Joey recently worked the feature film Little Wonders. After moving to Los Angeles he auctioned for and booked the film. In the film, Joey plays a key role in a tale of several lives and separate stories all coming together with one underlying purpose. When Joey competed at IMTA in 2006 he won Honorable Mention 'Junior Actor of the year, 1st Runner up Jeans, Honorable Mention 'Junior Model of the year, Winner Monologue 2nd Runner up for 'Cold Read and a $5,000 Scholarship to The New York School For Film and Television!

Haley Bennett in The Hole 3D

IMTA alum 2001 Haley Bennett is starring in a new movie called The Hole 3 D. It's a 3-D thriller about two brothers who find a strange hole in the basement of their house. The hole is the passageway to their worst nightmares and scary thoughts! This horror movie is directed by Joe Dante and Haley plays Julie Campbell.When Haley competed at IMTA, she was noticed by several agents and managers who were there scouting for new talent. Her first big movie was Music and Lyrics where she acted and sang! She starred in the hit The Haunting of Molly Hartley with Chace Crawford and in the comedy College! She is in post-production on Arcadia Lost where she stars as Charlotte!

Eva Longoria Starts Filming Desperate Housewives!

One of our favorite IMTA alums Eva Longoria tweeted the following recently: " (EvaLongoria)http://twitter.com/EvaLongoria/status/18394995372: Started filming Season 7 of DH today! It was like the first day of school again!" and none of us can wait for the next season of Desperate Housewives to begin! The new season of Desperate Housewives is set to premiere October 3.

Alyson Stoner in NYC for Camp Rock The Final Jam Premiere

IMTA alum Alyson Stoner was in NYC this week for the premiere of Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam! The red carpet event was held at Lincoln Center! Alyson reprises her role as Caitlyn Geller in the popular Disney Channel movie. The movie is set to premiere on the Disney Channel Labor Day weekend and it will be accompanied by a four event telecast. According to JustJared the schedule is set as:

Meisha Lamb-Bell Update

IMTA alum Meisha Lamb-Bell was recently featured in an issue of Better Homes and Gardens magazine in the family section in an editorial called "Green Party".

Meisha can also be seen in the trailer of the horror movie The Crazies. Meisha has appeared on the television series Still Standing, and commercials for the National National Football League, Mediacom Cellular South and K-Mart.

Zach competed at the IMTA in Los Angeles in 2003 where his charm, great looks and acting talent impressed the agents and managers attending. Zach signed with the late Thomas Harding Jones and FORD MODELS and was cast on One Life to Live, As The World Turns, Reba and MTV's True Life. He was recently in a video called "Increase Your Green" which was all about helping save the planet!

Katie Holmes is on the Cover of New York Magazine!

IMTA alum Katie Holmes is on the cover of New York Magazine's new Fall Fashion issue! In the accompanying article Katie shares how she has started a new children's clothing line call Holmes and Yang. She also discusses how being married to Tom Cruise affects her. Katie competed at IMTA twice, in 1993 and 1995. She returned a couple of years later to present awards at IMTA and debuted the first fifteen minutes of the pilot episode of Dawson's Creek the TV show which made her famous.

Kate has joined producer Guillermo del Toro to remake Don't Be of the Dark. This scary movie is due in theaters in January of 2011 and Katie plays the part of Kim is the horror flick. Katie's film The Extra Man is in limited release now. In this comedy Katie stars as Mary Powell.

Zhanna on Project Runway!

Check out these amazing shots of IMTA alum and top model Zhanna! Last week. at our yearly IMTA event in New York City, Zhanna shared with us that she is appearing on the new season of Project Runway! Zhanna shared some great information with us at IMTA when we last inteviewed her:

IMTA: Please describe your IMTA experience...

Zhanna: In one phrase, that actually is quoted to this day at every IMTA convention: "It's the place to go, to make your dreams come true in the industry...

IMTA: What are your best tips for success for someone who wants to be a model?

Zhanna: Do not lose focus of what is important, modeling is a tough job, never the less very rewarding. The travel, the social life, the perks can go to your head and you can lose focus of why you started to model in the first place, I can not even say how many models I have met through out my career that have been dropped by their agencies because of bad conduct and not doing their job. Stay healthy, eat healthy and always stay close to your family one way or the other, that always keeps your feet on the ground makes you want to do better as a model.

IMTA: What did you learn at IMTA that helps you in your career?

Zhanna: EVERYTHING, How to walk, how to pose, how to talk to clients, how to portray myself as a professional model and as a professional woman.

Brandon Routh in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World in Theaters Now!

IMTA's Superman Brandon Routh has a new film in theaters today, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World! Brandon is starring as Todd Ingram, evil boyfriend number 3, who happens to be vegan and is associated with the League of Evil Exes. Check out this amazing interactive site featuring the movie. According to the San Francisco Chronicle : ""Scott Pilgrim vs. the World,"(is) an adaptation of Bryan Lee O'Malley's graphic novel series about a Toronto bass player who must battle his new girlfriend's seven evil exes before he can finally win her heart."

Brandon Routh competed at IMTA during the New York, New York 1999 Convention. IMTA insider scoop-he was known as BJ Routh then! Brandon got lots of face time with the agents, managers and casting directors and ended up moving to Los Angeles. He signed with Mara Santino and Ryan Daly who were with Kazarian/Spencer & Associates at that time. Brandon was chosen for the role of Superman following an exhaustive search that spanned the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.

Jerry Ferrara and Entourage Support Children Mending Hearts

According to Charity Buzz , IMTA alum Jerry Ferrara who plays Turtle, and his cast mates of the wildly popular show Entourage are auctioning off a ,"once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take part in HBO's hit show, Entourage with a walk on role. Jerry competed at IMTA in 2000 where he met a talent manager who encouraged him to move to Los Angeles. Jerry was cast in guest-spots on King of Queens, NYPD Blue and many other television shows and films before he landed the breakthrough role on Entourage.

Jessica Biel, IMTA alum from 1994, is up for Choice Movie: Hissy Fit and Choice Female Hottie from Valentine's Day which co stars IMTA alum Ashton Kutcher!

Josh Duhamel and Ashton Kutcher are competing once again. This time for Choice Movie Actor: Romantic Comedy- Josh for When in Rome and Ashton for Valentine's Day. These two first battled it out on the IMTA runways in 1997 where Josh won Male Model of the Year and Ashton won Most Sought After Male Model.

Ashton Kutcher is also nominated for Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icon-Male and Choice Twit.

Eva Longoria, IMTA alum 1998, is up for Choice Activist and Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icon-Female! She stars as Gabby on the hit TV show Desperate Housewives. She has also worked with many wonderful chartitable projects such as: "Yo Sumo"a campaign which encouraged Hispanics to participate in the 2010 census. She is also the founder of the non-profit Eva’s Heroes dedicated to the developmentally challenged, and is involved with the National Council of La Raza, a Hispanic civil rights organization.

Ashley Greene, IMTA alum 2004, is nominated for the Choice Movie: Female Scene Stealer award for her turn Alice Cullen in The Twilight Saga: New Moon! She has recently started a new campaign as ambassador for Avon's younger brand called Mark! As brand ambassador for Mark, she will appear in the Mark magalog, website, as well as in print and online advertising.

In Step Up 3D, she reprises her role as Camille from Step Up in this impressively choreographed dance movie. Alyson also has a hit song Make History up on the Disney charts and it's available on itunes! Ashley Greene in the August Issue of Elle Magazine!

IMTA alum Ashley Greene is on the cover Elle magazine! Ashley competed at IMTA in 2004, when she said,"I'm so thankful I got the opportunity to be here at IMTA because there are so many people and so many opportunities. I want to come back to IMTA even if do I make something big of it. I definitely want to come back, it was a lot of fun!"

While competing at IMTA, Ashley signed with a manager and agent! She was cast in the star-making role as Alice Cullen in the blockbuster hit movies Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon! You can go to theaters now and see Ashley in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse! She is currently in production for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn!

Michael Fulfree Update!

Check out these amazing shots of IMTA 2008 alum model Michael Fulfree! After competing at IMTA, Micheal went to Milan with Major Models for Men's Fashion week to model for the famed British designer Alexander McQueen's Autumn/Winter 2009/201o. He has also graced the pages of German GQ, the Magazine Made and Italian Vogue.

He shot a campaign for Frank Murillo and landed a Ralph Lauren Polo campaign. Micheal just returned to our IMTA convention in New York last week where he welcomed everyone competing and encouraged them to do their best! Michael said,"I was standing where you guys are sitting two years ago and looking back at it, there is nothing else I would have rather done. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me. It was the best week of my life so enjoy it while you have it because once it’s over, you will think of it every day. It is amazing.”

Michael competed at IMTA in 2008 where he won Male Model of the Year and signed with Next Model Management.

Alyson Stoner Update!

Alyson Stoner has been busy this summer! Her hit Make History is up on the Disney charts! And it's available on itunes! Alyson shares on her blog: "My next single “Make History”, which happens to be the song that you all, my fans, helped me write, will be hitting Radio Disney’s Music Mailbag... My goal from the get-go has been to get this track on the radio, especially since we all worked hard together to write the best lyrics and find the best beat!!! Alyson, who competed at IMTA in 2000, has a new movie coming to theaters August 6. In Step It Up 3, she portrays Camille in this amazing dance based story. Next up is the release of Camp Rock 2 which will air September 2. Recently Alyson talked to Radio Disney host Ernie D at the studios in Burbank, Calif., and according to Justjared: "The 16-year-old multi-talented entertainer dished just what fans can expect on the Camp Rock 2 tour and Nick Jonas‘ professional athlete future. On Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam: “They can expect a lot more music. Everything is bigger and better, the dance numbers have quadrupled in size, all the songs cover every genre of music so there is something for everyone and the characters get to pursue different interests that people have been waiting for.”
