Lauren Storm Shooting a New Movie!

Lauren Storm is on location in Vancouver shooting the comedy I Love You Beth Cooper co- starring with Hayden Panettiere. She plays Treece in this movie based on the book Beth Cooper by Larry Dolye. The film is aabout a High School Graduation speech given by a dorky senior. When he tells the whole class he is in love with the prettiest, most popular girl in the school everyone laughs. However, when this girl ends up at his house, the story gets interesting and funny.


Lauren competed at IMTA in New York in 1999 and describes her IMTA experience, saying, “I ended up getting a lot of response from theatrical agencies and was asked to relocate to LA for pilot season. I tried it out for 6 months and got my first job, so I stayed a little longer and booked again.” Lauren has guest starred in many television shows such as Grounded for Life, 7th Heaven with IMTA alum Jessica Biel, CSI:Miami, 24, Malcolm in the Middle and Boston Public. She is best known for her continuing role as Taylor Hagan in the NBC's Discovery Channel hit series Flight 29 Down, which also stars another IMTA alum Jeremey Kissner. Lauren played Cindy, the Nanny, in the Disney comedy The Game Plan. She has been busy with many new projects such as The Jerk Theory, Together Again for the First Time, The Inner Cirlce and Resurrection Mary.

Eva Longoria moonlighting at Wendy's!


IMTA alum Eva Longoria helped Wendy's kick off their charity event by working the drive-thru! She served up Frosty's and smiles to astonished customers who got their order from one of the most beautiful actresses in the world! Eva was doing publicity for The Father's Day Frosty Promotion when Wendy's will donate 50 cents for every Frosty sold during Father's Day weekend to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and Wendy's Wonderful Kids program, which benefits kids in foster care.

Eva worked at Wendy's when she was a teen so she already knew the ropes! That was before her IMTA experience...she competed at IMTA in 1998 and received 38 callbacks from agents and managers who wanted to represent her! She called her Mom and said,"I am moving to L.A. and I am going to become an actress!"

Now Eva is one of the most recognizable faces in the world...her hit ABC show Desperate Housewives is a can't-miss for millions of viewers! Eva doesn't stop there though! She also stars in feature films and does tons of charity work! She even started her own charity, Eva's Heroes!

Steve Sandvoss in Revolution on Sci-Fi Channel!

Steve Sandvoss has been cast in Sci-Fi's upcoming drama Revolution. Steve will play Chris Hart, the youngest son of a farmer on an interstellar colony. This drama takes place on a planet far from Earth where two families who are related by marriage are at war. Joining the cast is two-time Oscar nominee Peter Fonda as the grandfather of the Hart family.
Steve recently starred in the film Lie to Me which just made the rounds on the Film Festival circuit. Lie to Me stars two IMTA alumni, Steve Sandvoss and Brandon Routh and is a romantic comedy about best friends, love and marriage. Steve competed at the L.A. 2003 IMTA Convention where he caught the eye of Al Onorato, the same manager who started Elijah Wood and Katie Holmes' careers. He was cast in Latter Days shortly after moving to L.A. to pursue his acting career. He also appeared in the feature film Rumor Has It with Jennifer Aniston. He recently wrapped Judy's Got a Gun with fellow IMTA alum Lauren Storm and the horror flick Buried Alive about kids who perform a college prank at an abandoned house and accidentally awaken a frightening ghost. His television appearances include roles on Nip/Tuck, Cold Case, Grey's Anatomy, Dr. Vegas and American Dreams.

Mario Cassem in feature films and on television!


Mario Cassem just wrapped the comedic feature film Seventeen Again with Zac Efron. The story line revolves around a man whose life is not what he thought it would be. He wishes he could go back to high school and change it and that's what happens. In the film, Mario plays the role of Samir.

Mario has been very busy since competing at since New York IMTA in 2007. He shot a lead role as Juan in Monumental Production's movie Stacy's Mom and is in post production on Finding Bliss with LeeLee Sobieski. Mario also just booked an episode of Comedy Central's Mind of Mencia!

Haley Bennett filming Marley and Me!



Haley Bennett is on location in Pennsylvania and Florida filming the comedy Marley and Me. She co-stars with Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson in this film inspired by the book, Marley & Me by John Grogan. The film is about a reporter and his wife who adopt a Labrador puppy (Marley) and Haley plays Lisa. Her character in the film, it is unlike any other she's done before. She excitedly explained, "I might have blue hair in it. I'm hope I do. Fingers crossed!"

Haley was featured in the May issue of Nylon magazine's "Young Hollywood Issue" and was named "The Future of Film" along with thirty other rising actors and actresses. During her interview, she talked about her upcoming comedic film College as well as the thriller She Lived. Haley competed at the 2001 IMTA Convention where she met agents Mara Santino and Ryan Daly. Moises Arias is currently on location in Tennessee filming the new Hannah Montana movie! It the first full-length feature film for star Miley Cyrus, and series regulars Billy Ray Cyrus, Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso and of course, IMTA's favorite, Moises Arias who plays Rico!

Hannah Montana: The Movie is a Walt Disney Production based on the hit series. It will be a music-filled comedy adventure about Hannah Montana's popularity taking over Miley's character's life. With encouragement from her father, the teen and her friends travel back to her homeown in Tennessee. The movie is scheduled for release in May of 2009.

Moises plays Rico in Season 1 and Season 2 of Hannah Montana. He was in the feature film Nacho Libre with Jack Black. Moises recently competed at the 2008 Disney Channel Games with fellow IMTA alumni, Alyson Stoner and Kunal Sharma. Moises made a cameo appearance in The Jonas Brother's music video S.O.S. where he steals Joe Jonas' girlfriend. Moises will appear in the Disney channel original movie, Dadnapped.

Sofia Vassilieva's feature film!

Sofia Vassilieva is currently shooting a film called My Sister’s Keeper. This is a very touching and dramatic story about how one daughter finds out she was born to help keep her older gravely ill sister alive and is based on a true story from Jodi Piccoult's novel My Sister's Keeper. It is truly a heart wrenching story which highlights the many obstacles families encounter. Cameron Diaz plays Sara Fitzgerald, Abigail Breslin plays Anna Fitzgerald and Sofia plays Kate Fitzgerald!


IMTA alum Sofia stars as Ariel Dubois, the daughter of the main character, Allison (Patricia Arquette) in the NBC hit series Medium. This is the fourth season of the intriguing series based on a real-life story. She competed at IMTA in New York, where she won the title of Child Actress of the Year and she was the first runner-up for Child Model of the Year 2000. She went on to star in many films such as Eloise at the Plaza, The Brady Bunch in the White House, the psychological thriller Inhabited and Day Zero. She recently wrapped Hurt about a widow and her children coping with loss and a new life. Sofia won a Best Supporting Young Artist Award in 2006 for Best Performance in a TV Drama.

ABC Annouces Kyle XY and Chris Olivero will be back this Fall!!

ABC Family recently announced that Chris Olivero's hit show Kyle XY will be back for a third season this Fall. Chris plays Declan McDonough, Kyle's best friend. In this science fiction show, a family takes in a formerly institutionalized teenager (Kyle XY) who does not experience normal human feelings such as anger, joy, love and does not have a belly button.

Chris competed at IMTA in LA in 1998 where he won MOST SOUGHT AFTER MALE MODEL/ACTOR, which means he had the most callbacks. His breakthrough role was as the son of the President of the United States in the hit Fox series 24. He has appeared in the movie Air Force One and guest-starred on Ghost Whisperer, CSI:Miami, Line of Fire, Boston Public, NCIS and Once and Again. Tyson Ballou in new campaign!

Check out these amazing pictures of supermodel and IMTA alum Tyson Ballou in a new ad campaign for Dolce & Gabbana's Active Body Collection.

Tyson also recently shot a new advertising campaign for the fashion giant Sisley which showcases pieces from the upcoming Spring and Summer collection. These gorgeous photographs were shot by fashion photographer Camilla Akrans. Tyson competed at IMTA in 1996 and signed with the prestigious Ford Models and is now with IMG. He has appeared on runways and in ad campaigns for every top designer, including Jil Sander, Emporio Armani, Moschino, Perry Ellis, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Byblos, BCBG, Valentino Roma and Hugo Boss. He has also appeared internationally on the covers and in editorials of major fashion magazines including L'uomo Vogue, Jalouse, The Face, Harper's Bazaar, Arena Homme Plus, Visionaire, Numero and W. He recently appeared in ads for Dolce and Gabbana's Spring/Summer collection.

Joseph Castanon Update!

Joseph Castanon just finished shooting a movie with Rutger Hauer called Happiness Runs. The story line is about a neglected child of parents living on a commune, who realizes to survive he must escape. Joseph plays Little Mackie in this dramatic film which is scheduled to go to the Sundance film festival. He is going to be filming a full length feature film based on his popular short film, Little Wings. It was picked up by a studio at the Cannes Film Festival and has won several awards in various festivals. Joseph recently wrapped the Skater Movie with the twin skateboarders, Nic and Tristan, and he recently did a national commercial for Sears.
Joseph competed at IMTA in 2004 where he met and signed with William Morris Agency (voice over) and Abrams Artists Agency. He has co-starred in the following films: Click, Plot 7, Dead Write, Little Wings and Brothers. He has appeared in the following television shows: Comanche Moon, October Road, Shark, Jericho, Pepper Dennis, NCIS, Without a Trace, Crossing Jordan, multiple episodes of VH-1's I Hate My 30s, E.R. and Badlands. His work on Ghost Whisperer was submitted for consideration for an Emmy Award.

Kunal Sharma in The Cheetah Girls One World!


You can get a sneak peek at IMTA alum Kunal Sharma's latest project tonight on Disney! It's the world's first look at the new Cheetah Girls movie, The Cheetah Girls 3 : One World. Kunal plays Amar in the telefilm that was shot on location in India. It's the first Disney Channel movie ever filmed in India! The Disney Channel's "Made in India" event airs tonight at 8/7c!

Kunal Sharma has been very busy. He was recently in Florida competing in the Disney Channel Games with TWO fellow IMTA alumni: Moises Arias (who was a fellow yellow team mate!) and Alyson Stoner. Kunal just finished filming Legally Blondes, the third installment in the Legally Blonde movies. Kunal has guest-starred on many popular TV shows such Phil of the Future, The Office, Veronica Mars, Crossing Jordan and Hannah Montana. He also stars in the independent film, The Adventures of Food Boy with another IMTA alum, Brittany Curran! Here's an excerpt from an interview where he mentions his IMTA experience:

Hi Kunal. It’s great to see you again, and thanks for spending some time with us today. To start, can you tell us how you got into acting?
"Though I always had an interest in the performing arts, I began to actively pursue it after participating in IMTA. This is a nationwide talent competition held in Los Angeles where kids are able to showcase their acting prowess as well as get a chance to meet people from the industry. Thereafter, I began to take some acting classes in LA and this solidified my passion."

Kunal competed at IMTA Los Angeles in 2004, when he was sixteen years old. Displaying his acting talents in IMTA competitions such as monologues, sitcoms and cold read, Kunal was spotted by agents and managers where he received offers of representation and scholarships to film courses at leading film schools. Kunal is repped by Larry Corsa of The Corsa Agency.

Adrianne Palicki in Dove Campaign!



IMTA alum, Adrianne Palicki , star of Friday Night Lights, is featured in the "Go Fresh" ad campaign for Dove and US Magazine. In a four-part video series called Dove's 20 Questions for 20 Somethings, Adrianne opens up about her life, health and beauty routines, obstacles she has faced and her hopes for the future. Adrianne is best-known for playing Tyra Collette on Friday Night Lights which will be back for a third season.
Adrianne competed at IMTA in New York City in 2001 and in an interview with the IMTA she said,"It was amazing. I love IMTA. I'm so sad it's over." Check out these amazing photos of Adrianne when she was competing at IMTA:

Ryan Locke on CSI: NY Tonight!



For the second week in a row, an IMTA alum is guest starring on CBS' hit crime drama CSI:NY! Ryan Locke will be in this week's episode "Taxi". In a follow up of last week's story line, which guest starred IMTA alum Keri Lynn Pratt, the detectives are still searching for the "The Cabbie Killer" who is terrorizing New York City. Ryan Locke's character is suspected of being the killer!

Ryan competed at IMTA’s while he was still in high school and won Male Model of the Year! His exclusive contract with Nautica made him one of the highest paid male models in the industry and a celebrity figure. You’ve seen him in every major fashion magazine modeling for such industry giants as for Michael Kors, Gucci, Donna Karan, Versace and Nautica. He was named Male Model of the year by the VH1 Fashion Awards in 1998. Ryan has crossed over into acting and appeared in various projects such as Supercross, Gingerdead Man, Life, Wanted and American Black Beauty. His first appearance in a feature film was in American Gun with James Coburn and he recently wrapped The New Twenty.

Keltie Martin models on Deal or No Deal!

IMTA alum Keltie Martin is a model on the hit NBC game show Deal or No Deal! Keltie competed at IMTA Los Angeles a few years ago. She was selected and prepared for the IMTA week by Diane D'Alessandro. Keltie is also a successful fashion model and appears in commercials. She is signed with Otto Models.

Regine Nehy Preview of Lakeview Terrace


IMTA alum Regine Nehy's new dramatic film Lakeview Terrace has the official trailer online! The movie is about a couple who move into a new house in Los Angeles. Their next door neighbor is a single dad and a Los Angeles Policeman, who is played by Samuel L. Jackson. He is very unhappy with their interracial marriage and starts stalking and harassing them. Regine plays his daughter, Celia Turner, in this suspenseful thriller. Sony Pictures has planned a Fall release for this exciting film. Check out the preview below:



Regine starred as Jacquie in the MTV film Super Sweet Sixteen: The Movie. She also starred in the the film Pride about a swim team overcoming numerous obstacles to become state championship which is now out on DVD. At IMTA, she signed with Dino May Management and Kazarian/Spencer & Associates, who have helped her become the successful actress she is today. She has appeared in many projects such as: Fighting the Odds: The Marilyn Gambrell Story, Grey's Anatomy, Lincoln Heights and Boot Camp. Ashton Kutcher in What Happens in Vegas!

IMTA alum Ashton Kutcher's summer movie is opening today nationwide in wide release! Ashton Kutcher stars with Cameron Diaz in the hilarious comedy about what happens when their characters marry in a crazy night in Las Vegas and win a huge jackpot. They greedily try to get the money and out of the marriage, while falling for each other! MTV news said it is Ashton's funniest — and most mainstream — film yet.

Ashton Kutcher competed at IMTA at the New York, 1997 IMTA Convention where he won Most Sought After Male Model with a record number of callbacks from agencies interested in representing him. He signed with Next Models and didn't even return home to Iowa before appearing in several fashion shows for that season's Men's Fashion Week! His agent submitted him for an upcoming Fox comedy called Teenage Wasteland, the title was later changed to That 70's Show and Ashton was cast as the lovable Kelso in his break-through role. That 70's Show aired for eight seasons. Ashton has also starred in over a dozen feature films and is a Hollywood A-lister!

Sean Harju New Campaign, Covers and more!

IMTA alum Sean Harju looks amazing in the new Diesel Live Fast ad campaign. The gorgeous photos were taken by Laurie Bartley.




He is also featured on the June cover of the Japanese Magazine called HUGE in an article called Let's Get TRAD in Summer 2008. He has recently appeared on the homepage for Eluxury.
Sean competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2006 where he won first runner up for Male Model of the Year and he signed with the legendary Major Model Management team. He has been featured in the magazine Arena, Europe's premier modeling magazine, GQ where he was featured solo in a six page photo layout , and in an editorial spread in Details for November 2007.

Sean is a favorite runway model and appeared in an astounding number of shows during the past season! He was in a the Spring/Summer ad campaign for Dolce And Gabbana with fellow IMTA grad and supermodel Tyson Ballou. He has appeared in the Thom Browne show, Y-3 and Zegna runway shows. Sean also had the honor of opening the 2009 Winter Dolce & Gabbana show in Milan.

Sean has been featured in the last 4 issues of Details magazine and in March's issue he has two fashion stories and the Diesel campaign ad.









He also appears on the cover of Mate magazine and in a four page spread!

Keri Lynn Pratt on CSI:NY


IMTA alum Keri Lynn Pratt will be appearing as Paula on the hit dramatic series CSI: NY tonight on CBS. In an episode called Personal Foul, the CSI team will try to gather evidence to stop the "Taxi Cab Killer" from claiming another victim. Keri Lynn will also be appearing tonight on USA in an encore presentation of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Lauren Westley.

Keri Lynn, who competed at IMTA in 1996, played Amber Trachtenberg (Calista Flockhart's assistant) in the hit ABC series Brothers and Sisters. She has appeared in a number of feature films, including America’s Sweethearts with Julia Roberts and the feature film version of Fat Albert. She has had guest starring roles on many popular TV shows such as: Veronica Mars, Bones, 7th Heaven with IMTA alum Jessica Biel, Nip/Tuck, Boston Public, Jack and Bobby, Crossing Jordan and House. Elijah Wood Update!


IMTA alum Elijah Wood will provide the voiceover for The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon, the third chapter in the popular Legend of Spyro trilogy which will be released this fall for the Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION3, Wii, PlayStation2 and Nintendo DS. Reprising their roles as the characters of Spyro and his mentor Ignitus, are two popular Hollywood leading men, Elijah Wood and Gary Oldman. In the last game of the trilogy, Sypro teams up with Cynder, his former enemy, to face his most hardest mission. The game has two new twists; Spyro can now fly at any time and players can drop-in and out. The new co-op feature allows players to complete the game as either Spyro or Cynder. Vivendi Games Mobile is also making The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon available for mobile phones throughout Europe and North America.




Elijah Wood is on the cover NEO2 a popular magazine in Spain. His film The Oxford Murders recently premiered there. The Oxford Murders is scheduled for release in January in Spain. The story takes place at Oxford University where a professor (William Hurt) and a grad student (Wood) work together to try and stop a potential series of murders seemingly linked by mathematical symbols.

Elijah got his start at IMTA in 1989 and has gone on to star in over 40 feature films. His film Happy Feet won a BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Children's Award in London beating Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! Elijah provides the voice over for the main character Mumble. It also won accolades from audiences worldwide and earned an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and a Golden Globe for Best Original Song. Currently Elijah is working on an animated action adventure film called 9, a post-apocalyptic nightmare in which all of humanity is threatened. Stay tuned for more on Elijah in The Oxford Murders!

Melody Woodin in Neiman Marcus!

IMTA alum Melody Woodin appears in the latest Neiman Marcus Spring catalog in a gorgeous eleven page layout. In the catalog, Melody models fashions from top designers including Chloe, Yves Saint Laurent, Elie Tahari, 7 For All Mankind and DKNY. Melody recently appeared in an eleven page layout in the January 2008 edition of Marie Claire US modeling clothes and accessories by Helmut Lang, DKNY, Giorgio Armani, Forever 21, Chloe, Celine, Lanvin, and Versace.

Melody competed at IMTA in 2004 and won Model of the Year. She signed with the prestigious international modeling agency Women Management. She is also represented by Nathalie in Paris. She is a favorite runway, editorial and commercial model and has modeled for some of the most highly influential and highly respected fashion designers in the world such as: Christian Dior, Badgley Mischka, Marc Jacobs, Oscar De La Renta, Luca Luca and appeared in a print ad for the Biore facial products.

Haley Bennett named the Future of Film by NYLON magazine!

Nylon magazine's "Young Hollywood Issue" for May 2008 features IMTA alum Haley Bennett! She is named "The Future of Film" along with thirty other rising actors and actresses. Riley Smith movie and new video!

IMTA alum Riley Smith has two exciting projects you need to check out! His band The Life of Riley has just released a new video for their song Trouble with lots of footage from The Life of Riley's performances at IMTA! They've played shows from Hollywood to Sundance to New York and The Life of Riley also had an eight city UK tour to support their great self-titled The Life of Riley cd. Riley competed at IMTA's New York 1997 Convention where he won Male Model of the Year for his age division. Josh Duhamel Shooting When in Rome



IMTA alum Josh Duhamel is currently shooting the romantic comedy When in Rome with Kristen Bell, Jon Heder, Anjelica Huston, Dax Shepard and Will Arnet. The Disney film is being directed by Mark Steven Johnson. The story line revolves around a museum curator from the Guggenheim who takes some magical coins from the Trevi Fountain in Rome. When she returns home to New York City, she is followed by a group of suitors whose coins she took. Josh is playing the romantic lead in the movie.

Josh is a daytime Emmy winning actor as well as having eight nominations from the Teen Choice Awards during the last few years. His movie Transformers: The Movie was the #1 movie of the summer last year and it won an MTV Movie Award. Josh won Male Model of the Year at IMTA in 1997 where he competed against another very high profile IMTA alum, Ashton Kutcher. After IMTA, Josh landed his first acting job playing the title character in Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray and he soon began acting on All My Children playing Leo du Pres which won him a Daytime Emmy in 2002. Josh left daytime TV for his breakthrough role on the hit series Las Vegas which aired on NBC for five seasons.
