Lydnsy Fonseca on Desperate Housewives with Eva Longoria!!


We have been waiting all summer and it is almost time for.... Desperate Housewives Season Four to start. Tune into ABC this Sunday, September 30 to catch one IMTA's superstars, Eva Longoria in her smash hit show Desperate Housewives. The name of the first episode is called Now You Know and it's about one neighbor's demise and new neighbors arriving! And guess who plays the daughter of the new family??? Another hugely talented IMTA star Lyndsy Fonseca!!

In the ongoing dramedy, Lyndsy plays Dylan Mayfair, the daughter of Dana Delaney's character, who is moving back to Wisteria Lane with her younger husband. To make things extra-mysterious, Lyndsy's character has no recollection of living there and it's due to a startling secret that will unfold this season. Lyndsy competed at IMTA in 2003 where she won 2nd Runner up for Young Miss Dancer of the Year and Honorable Mention Young Miss Talent of the Year. At the convention she signed with an agent and manager and moved to Los Angeles for her first pilot season at age 13. The following year, at 14, Lyndsy booked a three year contract for the role of Colleen on The Young and the Restless. In an interview with IMTA , Lyndsy said, "IMTA was a lot of fun. It's how I imagine college might be - where you room with a bunch of other girls and then go off to classes together. Only one year after IMTA, I was offered a contract with Y&R!" When the contract ended Lynsdy worked on various projects such as: Heroes, Close to Home, The Beautiful Ordinary, How I Met Your Mother, Phil of the Future, Big Love, Intellectual Property, Waterfront, Cyber Seduction, I Do, They Don't, Malcolm in the Middle, and Boston Public. Lyndsy also shot commercials for Radio Shack and Captain Crunch.



Eva's much-loved portrayal of the spoiled Gabby Solis will find her character in all sorts of dilemmas this season! She has been busy with many leading projects since competing at IMTA in 1998. She starred in the films Harsh Times, The Sentinel, and in L.A. Dragnet. Her television roles include guest spots on The Bold and the Beautiful, General Hospital, Beverly Hills, 90210, and The Young and the Restless. Eva has been named one of AOL's Sexist Primetime TV stars, one of People's "50 Most Beautiful", the "#1 Hottest Woman in the World" by Maxim, voted by Variety as one of the "Ten New Faces to Watch", one of Rolling Stone's "People of the Year," USA Today's "TV's Hot 11" and TV Guide's "New Faces of Fall." She has an exclusive worldwide contract as the face of L'Oreal, is the spokeswoman for both Bebe apparel and Padres Contra El Cancer,which helps Latinos with cancer, and she just shot a PSA for cancer awareness and her tv show Desperate Housewives received 6 Emmy nominations!! Lauren Storm Stars in The Game Plan in Theaters Today!

Lauren Storm stars as Cindy, the Nanny, in the new Disney comedy The Game Plan in theaters now. This movie is about a superstar quarterback ('The Rock') who is a confirmed bachelor. Out of the blue, a child he unknowingly fathered, arrives on his doorstep needing a new home. Hilarious situations arise as this football hero tries to balance his single, traveling, partying lifestyle with being a responsible father who needs to get his daughter to ballet practice on time. In the end everyone learns about what is truly important in life: love and family.

Lauren competed at IMTA in New York in 1999 and describes her IMTA experience, saying, “I ended up getting a lot of response from theatrical agencies and was asked to relocate to LA for pilot season. I tried it out for 6 months and got my first job, so I stayed a little longer and booked again.”

Lauren has guest starred in many television shows such as; Grounded for Life, 7th Heaven with IMTA alum Jessica Biel, CSI:Miami, 24, Malcolm in the Middle and Boston Public. She is best known for her continuing role as Taylor Hagan in the NBC's Discovery Channel hit series Flight 29 Down, which also stars another IMTA alum Jeremey Kissner.

Josh Duhamel's Star is Shining Bright in the Premiere of Las Vegas!!

Josh Duhamel stars in NBC's sizzling drama series Las Vegas on Friday Septmeber 28th. Las Vegas will start its 5th season with a big bang - a special two hour episode called A Hero Ain't Nothing But A Sandwich/Shrink Rap. Josh stars as Detective Danny McCoy, the central character in the Las Vegas casino security team. In this gripping episode, viewers and fans will find out which character will not be returning. Following the premiere, NBC.com will host a live blog chat with the show's creator Gary Scott Thompson and Josh where people can ask them questions live from at 11pm est/8pm pst.


Josh dazzled the judges with his star qualities as well, winning Male Model of the Year at IMTA in 1997. He competed against another very high profile IMTA alumn that year, Ashton Kutcher!

After IMTA, Duhamel landed his first acting job playing the title character in Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, and he soon began acting on All My Children playing a role that won him a Daytime Emmy in 2002. Josh left daytime tv for his breakthrough role on the hit series Las Vegas. He starred in Michael Bay's Transformers: The Movie which was the 2007 summer movie of the year! This exciting action-packed movie has Josh playing the part of Captain John Lennox and in it he helped save the world! Brooklyn Rules Starring Jerry Ferrara Released on DVD!

Jerry Ferrara's critically acclaimed independent film Brooklyn Rules is now available on DVD! Jerry stars in this dramatic crime film about three life-long friends who struggle to deal with life and the mob as they grow up in Brooklyn, 1985. Jerry plays one of the three friends, Bobby, "an endearing cheapskate who longs for a simple life of working at the post office and settling down with his fiancee." He stars with an amazing cast including Freddie Prinze Jr., Scott Caan, Alec Baldwin and Mena Suvari. Visit the movie's official site for trailers, synopsis and more!

Jerry competed at IMTA in 2000 where he met and signed with an agent who encouraged him to move to Los Angeles. He landed his first acting role on the comedy King Of Queens. Jerry was then cast in the independent feature Cross Bronx which premiered at the 2004 Tribeca Film Festival and then worked on Brooklyn Rules. This Brooklyn native is best known for his role as Turtle on HBO's popular and 7 Emmy-nominated TV show Entourage. He has received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series from the Screen Actors Guild and TV -Chemistry from the Teen Choice Awards. Katie Holmes and Jessica Biel named Best Dressed of the Year!


Two of IMTA most stunning alumns landed on this year's prestigious annual People Magazine's Best Dressed list. Jessica Biel and Katie Holmes are honored as two of the ten women who made elegant and stylish fashion choices throughout the year. Katie Holmes was dubbed "The Classic" for her refined look, whether on the red carpet or just being casual with daughter Suri Cruise. According to Galina Espinoza from People, “Katie Holmes is one of the most remarkable style evolutions. She’s always very simple, very elegant and her clothes fit her perfectly.” Katie competed at IMTA in 1993 & 1995.



Jessica Biel made the list and won accolades for her "All American" looks. Jessica is also featured on the cover of People's Fall Fashion Issue. The editors of that issue said, "Jessica pulls off tomboy-chic with a girlish flair like no other." Jessica competed at IMTA in 1994.

Ashton Kutcher's Viral Video Launches!



Ashton Kutcher's intriguing spot for Ooma launched today and it is generating tons of internet buzz! The video was conceptualized by Ashton and his company Katalyst Films produced it. Promoting an ingenious device using VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) to offer unlimited lifetime calling from home, Ooma is generating lots of interest with the first in a series of videos. They will build on the theme introduced in this spot and you can expect a lot of Hollywood pizzazz as Ashton is the Creative Director for Ooma!

Ashton has come a long way since 1997 when he won IMTA's Most Sought After Male Model! He signed with Next Models and began booking men's fashion week shows immediately. His agent submitted him for consideration for a new Fox television show Teenage Wasteland. Ashton got the part of Kelso, the show's name was changed to That 70's Show and the rest is Hollywood history! Ashton successfully crossed over from television to feature films and began producing very popular shows such as Punk'd and Beauty and the Geek. His resume continues to grow as he adds more successful ventures to his resume!

Ooma sounds like an exciting product and the spots are truly great marketing. Way to go Ashton!

Jordan Hempstead's Fabulous New Photo!

Check out this gorgeous new photo of Jordan Hempstead, who won Male Model of the Year and Most Sought After Male at July 2006 IMTA New York convention. He signed with Major Model Management which has locations in both New York and Milan and with LA Models in Los Angeles. He booked the New York fashion week show for DDC Lab and was recently seen in an episode of MTV’s The Hills, and shot for IO Donna Magazine. Jordan shared his thoughts about IMTA saying "This IMTA week has been a great experience and I hope we all make something of ourselves." Stay tuned as we expect to see a lot more of Jordan in the modeling world in the future.

Grace Thorsen filming See Me Dance!





Grace Thorsen has recently landed a lead role in See Me Dance a new Fox Faith feature film. She won the title of Actress of the Year at IMTA convention in Los Angeles January 2007. Since signing with IMD in 2002, Grace has worked in both in film and television. Her films include the dramatic The One Eyed King and a lead role in comedy horror My Name is Bruce which is about movie legend Bruce Campbell. She also appeared in a television series called Pastor Greg. Grace has many several national commercials on her resume and was a spokesperson for Lad Advertising!

Since winning the honor of Actress of the Year award at IMTA Los Angeles convention, Grace spent the summer in New York with Bob Luke Management and auditioned for several motion pictures, commercials and TV pilots. Grace will be returning to the east coast to film See Me Dance. Stay tuned for further updates on this beautiful and talented young star!

Tyson Ballou in New York Fashion Week!

Tyson Ballou walked the catwalk for designer Michael Kors during New York Fashion Week on location in Bryant Park. Tyson is a favorite model for the top fashion designer. Michael Kors debuted an appealing luxe collection...you can read more about it in Vogue's catwalk report that mentions Tyson, calling him a "hottie!"

We would certainly agree with that statement! Tyson is one of the hottest male models on the fashion scene. He competed at IMTA in 1996 where he signed first with the Ford Agency and then with IMG.

Catch IMTA Alumns on the Primetime Emmy Awards!

Don't miss the Primetime Emmy Awards airing this weekend September 16 on Fox. IMTA alums are all over this year's celebration with 17 nominations among their hit shows. The hugely successful IMTA alumns Jerry Ferrara and Eva Longoria have the added honor of acting as a presenters as well as being up for awards themselves. The Emmy Awards celebrate superior work thoughout all the different areas of television. More than 12,000 members of the Academy who are people also working in the industry vote for the category of competition in their arena of expertise and our alums dominated many categories this year.

IMTA alum Jerry Ferrara's runaway success show Entourage received 7 nominations! Jerry starred in the fourth season as the beloved Turtle on the HBO hot series Entourage. Jerry competed at IMTA in 2000. Originally from Brooklyn, Ferrara landed his first role on CBS’ comedy The King of Queens. His television credits include NYPD Blue and Grounded for Life. Upcoming projects include Gardener of Eden, Where God Left His Shoes and he just wrapped the feature film Brooklyn Rules.

Her television credits include guest appearances on Smallville, CSI, North Shore and Supernatural. Adrianne is well known for her portrayal of the sassy "Brianna" on the television drama South Beach.

The very popular kid's show Disney's Hannah Montana which stars IMTA alum Moises Arias, as Rico, also got a nod from Emmy. Moises competed at IMTA in 2005 and started working immediately. He has appeared in the feature film Nacho Libre. He guest-starred on television on Everybody Hates Chris, Everybody loves Raymond, and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. He just finished filming The Perfect Game about a poor Mexican Baseball team who works together to win the Little League World Championship.


Sofia Vassilieva was discovered at IMTA in New York, where she won the title of Child Actress and first runner-up Child Model Of The Year 2000. She went on to star in many films such as Eloise at the Plaza, The Brady Bunch in the White House, and Day Zero. She has received much attention for her role as Ariel Dubois, one of the lead characters on the hit NBC television show crime-mystery drama Medium which is nominated for an Emmy Award.

Mr. Woodcock starring Seann William Scott opens nationwide today!

IMTA alumn and funny guy Seann William Scott is starring in the New Line Cinema feature film Mr. Woodcock. Seann plays one of the lead characters, John Farley, who comes home to try to stop his mother (Susan Sarandon) from marrying his high school athletic coach (Billy Bob Thornton). This coach was the bane of John's life while he was in high school and in the film is continuing to bully Seann's character fifteen years later. Seann has been very busy and just wrapped the film Gary the Tennis Coach, and has another movie Quebec in the can.

Seann's good looks and winning personality made him a favorite of many of the agents, managers and industry VIP's at the Los Angeles IMTA convention in 1995. After the convention, Seann relocated to Los Angeles and started auditioning and booking some roles. His break-through role was that of Stifler in the incredibly funny comedy American Pie. Seann's determination, talent and incredible comedic timing have landed roles in some of the funniest movies of all time. He has starred in The Dukes of Hazzard, The Rundown, Bulletproof Monk, Ice Age: The Meltdown, Trainwreck: My Life as an Idiot and he teamed up with a fellow IMTA alum, 1997's Most Sought After Male Model, Ashton Kutcher for the hysterical cult movie Dude Where's My Car? Dominic Janes and Jon Kent Ethridge's New Show Premieres!

Two IMTA alumni, Dominic Janes and Jon Kent Ethridge, are starring in Out of Jimmy's Head, a new series debuting on September 14 on Cartoon Network. Out of Jimmy's Head is a cutting-edge combination of live actors working with cartoons. This exciting new series is based on the hit original movie Re-Animated which starred Dominic as Jimmy. The story revolves around Jimmy who has a freak accident at an amusement park and for him to survive he receives the brain of Milt Appleday, a famous cartoon creator. When he wakes up, he can see cartoons! Jon Kent plays his uncoordinated and funny best buddy Craig.


Dominic competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2004 and he signed with Rising Talent Management. He landed a recurring role on the dramatic crime television show Dexter. Dominic's first movie role was in the comedy Wild Hogs and he appeared on the hit drama ER for two seasons. He has just wrapped a part in the upcoming USA television series Wolverine & The X-Men where he portrays Squidboy/Sammy Pare.


Jon competed at IMTA in New York in 2004 where he signed with Martin Weiss of Martin Weiss Management. He recently starred in a Nickelodeon Movie of the Week called Last Day of Summer. Jon also guest starred as Young Blade on an episode of Blade - The Series on Spike TV which stars another IMTA alum, former Model of the Year, Jill Wagner and recently wrapped Frankie D. Jill Wagner in a New National Mecury Ad Now Airing


Jill Wagner,the Spokesmodel for Lincoln Mercury, has a brand-new television commercial airing nationally! She looks amazing and is as smart and nice as she is beautiful! To get the Mercury gig, Jill was cast from hundreds of other women in an exhaustive search to find the perfect actress to appeal to men and women, promoting the Mercury Brand.

Jill was awarded the coveted title of Model of the Year for the 2001 IMTA Los Angeles Convention. She worked with another IMTA alumn Ashton Kutcher on his series, Punk'd. She was featured in the latest issue of Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive! Jill starred in Blade: The Series as Krista Star. Jill just finished filming the sci-fi thriller Splinter!

Farah Fath begins taping her new show!




Today marks the very first day of Farah Fath on One Life to Live! She moved to New York the first of September and now she begins playing the role that was written just for her! Her character name is Gigi Morasco and her episodes will begin airing in October. We can hardly wait to see Farah on daytime television again! Farah competed at IMTA twice. Once when she was a little girl and once when she was a teenager. She said the second time she was ready to take the business seriously. She made a great impression at IMTA and signed with a manager and agent. She auditioned for a role on Days of Our Lives and got the job (it was her very first L.A. audition!). She played the role of Mimi Lockhart for eight years.

Cast of Entourage Presenting at the VMA's!

Catch IMTA alum and star of the hit television show Entourage Jerry Ferrara and his cast mates as they present an award at the wildly popular MTV Video Music Awards. The awards show will be airing live this Sunday, September 9 on MTV.

Jerry plays lovable Turtle on HBO's hit ensemble comedy Entourage. He competed at IMTA where he met and signed with a manager and has been working as an actor ever since. His popular show just completed its third season and season four is set to premiere on September 25. Don't miss seeing Jerry live presenting an award at the MTV VMA's this Sunday and tune in for season four!!

Riley Smith Filming Make It Happen!

Riley Smith is currently on set in Canada working on a movie called Make it Happen. This film is about girl from a small town who moves to the big city of Chicago to follow her dream of becoming a professional dancer. She winds up working in a a burlesque club where she learns about realities of dreams and life. Riley plays the lead character Russ in this drama about the challenges of growing up while not giving up.

Riley recently released his first CD with his band The Life of Riley! You can listen to his great new songs on his official band MySpace.
Riley competed at IMTA in 1997 and has been busy working in television and movies ever since. He has been in many notable television shows and films such as: 7th Heaven, Freaks and Geeks, Gideon's Crossing, Boston Public, CSI: Miami, 24, Radio, Eight Legged Freaks, Weapons, and the recently wrapped Gallowwalkers. Eva is Sizzling in the new Promotional Shot for Desperate Housewives!!


The gorgeous, talented and extremely busy Eva Longoria is smoldering in this new publicity photo promoting the start of the fourth season of NBC's award winning televison drama Desperate Housewives. Eva plays Gabrielle Solis on the #1 hit show. The third season was released on DVD yesterday for those of you who can't wait for premiere on September 30th on NBC! The PSA's Jessica Biel made in support of Live Earth are available for viewing online now! Live Earth is an organization whose goal is "to empower individuals to change their consumer behaviors and motivate corporations and political leaders to enact decisive measures to combat the climate crisis." Jessica is a very philanthropical star! She even has her own charity, Make The Difference Network, which you can check out for more details.
