Jerry Ferrara in the Season Finale of Entourage!

The finale of the fourth season of Entourage titled Cannes Do starring IMTA alum Jerry Ferrara will air on HBO September 2. This outstanding and exciting show has garnered 7 Emmy nominations. Jerry plays the character of Turtle who is one of the main players in this witty portrayal of life in Hollywood and the television and film industry.

Jerry competed at IMTA where he met and signed with an agent who encouraged him to move to Los Angeles. He landed his first acting role on the comedy King Of Queens. Jerry was then cast in the independent feature Cross Bronx which premiered at the 2004 Tribeca Film Festival. He has received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series from the Screen Actors Guild and TV -Chemistry from the Teen Choice Awards. Brittany Curran in 13 Going 30 Friday on Fox!

Tune into Fox Friday night to see Brittany Curran in an encore presentation of 13 Going on 30. This fun-filled movie is about a young girl who after being embarrassed at her 13th birthday wishes she could hide until she is 30 and her wish comes true. Brittany stars as one of the Six Chicks in this hilarious movie. She will also be guest-starring on tonight's episode of the hit Disney series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

Brittany competed at IMTA and signed with Diane Hardin and Judy Savage. She has had several guest spots on such popular television shows as Shark, The Young and the Restless, Drake and Josh, Power Rangers and Mad TV. Her movie roles include Akeelah and the Bee which also stars another IMTA alum Sara Niemietz . Brittany has also been in various print ads including KFC, Kraft Post Cereal, AT & T, Suave and Chevy. She is currently filming the comedy Diamond Dog Caper and just wrapped The Haunting Hour Volume One: Don't Even Think About it, Zip, The Uninvited, and The Adventures of Food Boy. Adrianne Palicki in Friday Night Lights out on DVD!

The first season of NBC's hit series Friday Night Lights starring IMTA alum Adrianne Paliciki is now available on DVD! This amazing new show has earned two Emmy nominations and Entertainment Weekly raved about the show in this week's issue: " the fantastic football dramas 1st season will win cheers from diehards and new fans alike". Adrianne stars as Tyra Colette in this show about a small town in Texas, where only one night matters: Friday Night. The story revolves around how important it is that the town's high school football team wins, the conflicts that arise, and the excitement it creates.

Adrianne competed at IMTA in New York City in 2003. She was signed by an agent and went on to work in both film and television. Her first feature-film was starring as Judy Robinson in film Lost in Space, and she had a supporting role in the Rob Reiner film Rumor Has It. Her television credits include guest appearances on Smallville, CSI, North Shore and Supernatural. Adrianne is well known for her portrayal of the sassy "Brianna" on the television drama South Beach. AOL names Eva and Josh Sexiest Primetime TV Stars!


Eva Longoria and Josh Duhamel were named two of Sexiest Primetime TV Stars! AOL named the ten sexiest primetime stars and these two IMTA alumni made the list! Eva stars on the hit TV show Desperate Housewives and Josh is on the top-rated drama Las Vegas. Josh was also popular in the box office this season with the hit film Transformers.



Eva competed at IMTA in 1998 where her amazing talent captured the eye of many agents and she recieved 52 callbacks. She first was cast on The Young and the Restless, and has been blowing up ever since. She is the new face and spokesperson of L'Oreal and BeBe Sport, and is filming PSAs to increase awareness on ovarian cancer. Josh dazzled the judges with his talent as well and won Male Model of the Year IMTA 1997! After IMTA, he soon began acting on All My Children and crosses over from the hit series Las Vegas to the big screen!

Catch Moises Arias in Closing of the Disney Channel Games!

Don't miss IMTA alum and Disney Red team member Moise Arias this Sunday August 25th for the Disney Channel game closing. All summer long stars of popular Disney Channel Television shows have been competing on one of two teams, the Red or the Blue. Moises who plays smart alec Rico on the smash hit Hannah Montana has been competing his hardest for the Red team. Some of games we have seen him compete in include the dunk tank, rock, paper, scissors showdown and on and the obstacle course.

Moises competed at IMTA in 2005 and started working immediately. In just two years, he has appeared in the motion pictures Nacho Libre. He guest starred on television on Everybody Hates Chris, Everybody loves Raymond, and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. He is currently filming the part of Mario in The Perfect Game based on a true story about a group of poor children in Mexico who win 13 games in a row and the Little League World Series. Be sure to tune in Sunday and see who the big winners are!

Jessica Biel to host a benefit for the Make a Difference Network!

The very busy and beautiful Jessica Biel is hosting a benefit with The Ivy Hotel and the Make a Difference Network. This will take place August 24 through 26 and Joss Stone will be performing. Proceeds from this benefit will be donated to national and local nonprofit programs, including the Hollywood Entertainment Museum’s at-risk youth educational program. The Make a Difference Network is a social network of businesses, celebrities and people who work together to raise money for deserving non-profits.

Jessica competed at IMTA in 1994 where she signed with an agent and manager who helped her land the breakthrough role of Mary Camden on the popular WB series 7th Heaven. She has gone on to star in many major motion pictures such as The Illusionist, Stealth, Elizabethtown, Home of the Brave, Next, and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. She recently wrapped the comedy film A Women of No Importance. This film is about a woman who has a secret, an illegitimate child. Things become sticky when her son tries to get a job from his father a secret neither of them knows. Th film is based on on a play by the famous writer Oscar Wilde. She is currently working on the movie Powder Blue about four people from very different backgrounds who find themselves thrown together.

Jordann Beal on One Life to Live

Jordann Beal is currently starring in a recurring role as Aimee on the popular soap opera One Life to Live. Jordann competed at IMTA in Los Angeles January 2007 and moved to New York City just one month after. She has been featured in an ad campaign in Seventeen Magazine and was on the cover a James Patterson's book Maximum Ride. Jordann was an awards presenter at our IMTA convention which just wrapped in July. At the convention Jordann stated that things would not have "moved so fast without IMTA. It would not have happened and the doors would not have been opened to me like they did so thankfully I came to IMTA. It is the best thing I've done for me in my life and I am so happy and so blessed".

Elijah Wood on Nickelodeon's New Show Yo Gabba Gabba!

IMTA alum and superstar Elijah Wood is guest starring on the premiere of Nickelodeon's new funky preschool show called Yo Gabba Gabba. This show is an exciting action packed program for young children featuring a group of furry toy animals and monsters in a make believe land where the play, dance, and learn about life.

Elijah got his start at IMTA in 1989 when he was signed by agent Al Onorato, moved from Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Los Angeles and booked his first role in Paula Abdul's memorable video Straight Up. His enormous film career includes such wonderful feature films as Happy Feet, Bobby, Everything is Illuminated, Sin City, Spy Kids 3 Game Over, Day Zero, and the Academy Award-winning trilogy The Lord of the Rings. Elijah has starred in over 40 feature films in his career and is one of young Hollywood's (and IMTA's!) most-loved actors. Elijah just wrapped the thriller The Oxford Murders which features him as a grad student at Oxford University who works with his professor to try and stop a potential series of murders seemingly linked by mathematical symbols. Currently he is doing a voice over for an animated action adventure film called 9, a post-apocalyptic nightmare in which all of humanity is threatened. Brandon Routh Movie News!

In a recent interview, Entourage's Kevin Connelly revealed that he and Brandon Routh will be starring a new film together! Brandon will be playing the role of Gene Krupa in the film about the first interracial band in the 1930's. Brandon is currently taking drum lessons to prepare for the role!

Brandon Routh steamed up the screen as Superman/Clark Kent in Superman Returns last summer! Brandon competed at IMTA in 1999 in New York City and was a favorite with the agents, managers and casting directors. Routh was chosen for the role of Superman following an exhaustive search that spanned the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. Prior to his break through role as the Man of Steel, Routh was best known for his soap work, including roles on One Life to Live and the MTV nighttime soap, Undressed. He's also had guest-starring roles on Cold Case, Will & Grace, and Gilmore Girls. Brandon recently wrapped the dramatic film, Life is Hot in Cracktown which is scheduled for release in 2008.

Teen Model from Vietnam receives numerous offers at IMTA!


Truong Minh Xuan Thao was a contestant at the IMTA New York 2007 Convention last month and has received an offer to move to Hollywood. This exciting news has made her and her fellow Contestants local celebrities in their hometown in Vietnam. In addition to moving to Los Angeles, Truong has been offered work as an actress, acting classes, as well as received great interest from Chinese, Taiwanese and Thai modeling agencies. Fellow Contestant Thanh Tam was picked to be in a commercial by a New York company who scouted her at IMTA in New York 2007.

IMTA is thrilled that these talented girls learned and benefited so much from their IMTA experience and we hope they're successful in everything they do!

Happy Birthday Alyson Stoner!


We want to wish a very Happy Birthday to Alyson Stoner. At our recent New York, 2007 IMTA Convention Alyson was our inspiring Special Guest Star! She welcomed the entire IMTA group and wished them a great week. She also shared her IMTA story and how she competed and was in their very same shoes seven years ago.

Since then, she has starred on Disney's Mike's Super Short Show, Cheaper by the Dozen, and The Suite Life of Zach and Cody. She is also designing her own dance shoe and will be appearing in the upcoming feature film, Alice! Visit the official site for Alice for the latest about the film! After opening the week for IMTA, Alyson signed autographs and took pictures with her fans for over two hours! IMTA Contestants were thrilled to meet the young star, hear her story and spend a little a time with her!. Alyson, who is both a very talented actor and dancer, has appeared in movies, music videos, on tour and on television. She just wrapped a four year gig co-hosting the very popular Disney Channel Mike's Super Short Show.

Sean Harju in Milan!

IMTA alum and supermodel Sean Harju recently walked the runway at the Major Fall fashion shows in Milan. Sean modeled clothes for the world's most famous and important designers such as Salvatore Ferragamo, Alessandro Dell Acqua, D Squared, Calvin Klein and Burberry in this very prestigious international fashion show. Sean competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2006 where he won first runner up for Male Model of the Year. Sean was a very sought after model and he signed with the legendary Major Model Management team.

Moises Arias in SOS Video!


Moises Arias has a cameo appearance in the new video S.O.S. by Disney rock stars The Jonas Brothers! He plays the surprise crush of the girl to whom the lead singer of the band is singing the song to! Check it out here:



Moises stars as Rico in the wildly popular kids show Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel. Moises is currently filming the part of Mario in The Perfect Game. This dramatic movie is based on a true story about a group of poor children in 1957 from Monterrey, Mexico. They surprised the world by winning 13 games in a row and the Little League World Series in the only perfect game ever pitched in the Championship.


Moises competed at IMTA in 2005 and started working immediately. In two short years, he has been in the feature film Nacho Libre. He also been on Everybody Hates Chris, The Disney Channel Games and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Recently Moises and his Hannah Montana co-star Mitchel Musso lead the Red team to the win in the Disney Channel Games 2007 Obstacle Course event on The Disney Channel.

Tyson Ballou is the New Face for 7 For All Mankind Jeans Campaign



Tyson Ballou is featured in a new campaign for 7 Jeans! The campaign will premiere in October and is set to coincide with the opening of the 7 Jeans For All Mankind first retail store in Los Angeles in November. The ads which were shot by iconic photographer Patrick Demarchelier in the historic Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles and will run in prominent magazines such as Vanity Fair, GQ, Details, Interview and Vogue this Fall. He is joined by another supermodel Carolyn Murphy.


Tyson, who competed at IMTA 1996, was just featured in a fashion spread for Sport & Style by L’équipe magazine N°9, for it's June 2007 issue, entitled Plein Soleil. He is shown wearing the beautiful sporting apparel from designers including Baume & Mercier, Jil Sander, Lacoste, Hermes, Faconnable and Louis Vuitton. Tyson appeared on the catwalk this past spring for the Iceberg menswear Spring Summer 2007 collection and is one of the hottest male models on the fashion scene. Other designers Tyson has modeled for include Emporio Armani, Moschino, Perry Ellis, Donna Karan and Hugo Boss. He has also appeared internationally in major fashion magazines including a cover for L'Uomo Vogue with Kate Moss. Look for Tyson as he hits the pages of your favorite fashion magazines this Fall in his campaign for 7 For All Mankind!!

Dominic Janes and Jon Kent Ethridge Debut their New Series Out of Jimmy's Head

IMTA alumni Dominic Janes and Jon Kent Ethridge are starring in Out of Jimmy's Head, a new series debuting in September on Cartoon Network. Out of Jimmy's Head is a combination live action/animated series based on the hit original movie Re-Animated which starred Dominic as Jimmy. One day, he gets into a freak accident and for him to survive he receives the brain of Milt Appleday, a famous cartoon creator. When he wakes up, he can see cartoons!

Dominic competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2004 and he signed with Rising Talent Management. He landed a recurring role on the dramatic crime television show Dexter. Dominic's first movie role was in the comedy Wild Hogs and he appeared on the hit drama ER for two seasons. He has just wrapped a part in the upcoming USA television series Wolverine & The X-Men where he portrays Squidboy/Sammy Pare.

Jon competed at IMTA in New York in 2004 where he signed with Martin Weiss of Martin Weiss Management. He recently starred in a Nickelodeon Movie of the Week called Last Day of Summer. Jon also guest starred as Young Blade on an episode of Blade - The Series on Spike TV which stars another IMTA alum, former Model of the Year, Jill Wagner.
