Ashton Kutcher is featured in the current issue of Cosmopolitan in an article on celebrities' early modeling days. Ashton is shown in a photo when he was competing at IMTA! He won the 1997 IMTA Most Sought After Male Model with a record number of callbacks!

Ashton is more than just a pretty face though...in addition to his successful acting career, he is a powerhouse producer of scripted and reality series. His newest television show Miss Guided will air on ABC as a mid-season replacement in the fall schedule and the network has recently ordered 13 more episodes. Be sure to watch for the wonderfully talented and gorgeous IMTA alum Josh Duhamel presenting awards at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards June 3 and starring in his blockbuster new summer movie Transformers:The Movie July 3. Josh competed at the New York, New York 1997 IMTA Convention where he won the title of Male Model of the Year. Since then, Josh was cast as Leo du Pres on All My Children, a role that won him three Daytime Emmy nominations and a win in 2002. Duhamel currently stars as Danny McCoy on the hit NBC series Las Vegas. As McCoy, he portrays the protégé of "Sin City's" most respected surveillance master Ed Deline played by James Caan. Josh is set to succeed James Caan at the end of the fourth season. This show will premiere September 19, 2007 with an all-new and exciting season. Josh starred in the thriller Turistas, which was filmed in Brazil and in the title role in DreamWork's Win a Date with Tad Hamilton. Eva Longoria to Produce and Host 2007 ALMA Awards

The gorgeous and multi-talented Eva Longoria is set to host and produce the ALMA awards airing on ABC June 5. Eva said on the In Style website"I used to be a seat filler back in the day," of her previous appearances at the awards show. "So it has really come full circle for me. Now I get to host and produce it." Longoria competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 1998. Her break-through role has been as Gabrielle Solis on ABC's smash hit Desperate Housewives. Besides being named Maxim magazine's #1 on the Hot 100 List, appearing on numerous magazine covers, she has been named L'Oreal and Bebe Sport's spokeswoman as well.

The ALMA awards will tape on Friday, June 1 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium and air Tuesday June 5 on ABC. The two-hour special is presented by the National Council of La Raza, the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the U.S. The annual ALMA (American Latino Media Arts) Awards special recognizes and celebrates the outstanding artistic achievement of Latinos in film, television and music. The film Bobby which stars two IMTA alums, Elijah Wood and Ashton Kutcher has been nominated for Outstanding Picture and Director. Sean Faris and Mateo Arias in an Encore Presentation of Yours, Mine, and Ours this Saturday!

Be sure to catch the encore presentation of Yours, Mine and Ours starring two IMTA alums Sean Faris and Mateo Arias this Saturday May 26 on Showtime. This is a comical story about a blended family of eighteen children and all the drama, fun, and chaos that happens when their newly married parents try to raise the kids let alone children from different families. The the problems start as the two groups of kids, the free spirits and the conservative preppies, must live together. The warring factions agree to work together to end the marriage. In this hilarious movie Sean Faris plays William Beardsley and Mateo plays one of the bullies.

Sean competed at IMTA in 1999 and won Junior Male Model of the Year. He has worked both on the big and little screen. Some of his projects include the TV show Reunion which is about friends who gather for their 20th high school reunion when one is murdered they all become suspects and the cult classic Life as We Know It. He starred in the feature film Forever Strong and played Rick, the lead character. The film is about a troubled young man who loses his position as the star of an Arizona Rugby team after being sentenced to a boy's home in Salt Lake. Sean was featured in several memorable campaigns, including Abercrombie & Fitch and Armani. He also starred in the feature film Sleepover with two other IMTA alums, Kallie Childress and Mika Boorem. Sean is currently working on the thriller Brooklyn to Manhattan about a drug deal gone bad.

Mateo competed at IMTA in 2005 with his brother Moises. Since competing he has been working in television, motion pictures, theater, and commericals. He has guest starred in popular Disney TV show Drake and Josh. He and his brother recently acted in a played called Water And Power which ran at the Mark Taper Theater in Los Angeles. Mateo has been very busy filming national commercials such as Round Table Pizza, Snickers Bars and a commercial for Father's Day. Don't miss this hilarious family comedy this weekend!

Jessica Biel Presenting at the MTV Movie Awards

The MTV Movie Awards announced IMTA alum Jessica Biel will be one of the presenters who will be handing out Golden Popcorn trophies at this year’s live event June 3rd . Jessica competed at IMTA in 1994 where she impressed the agents, managers and casting directors with her acting, singing, dancing and modeling potential.
























Her breakthrough role was as Mary Camden on the popular WB series 7th Heaven. She has gone on to star in many major motion pictures such as The Illusionist, Elizabethtown, I now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry and Home of the Brave. Her film Next, a sci-fi thriller, opened April 27 and she just wrapped the movie A Woman of No Importance. She is currently working on a film call Blue Power about four desperate individuals whose lives intersect in Los Angeles on Christmas Eve. This film is set to start filming at the end of July in Los Angeles.

Jessica will be starring in an encore presentation of the beautiful period piece Elizabethtown on HBO May 25 and can been seen on the cover of the June issue of Elle Magazine on newsstands now. Brandon Routh Wins Best Actor for Superman Returns at the Saturn Awards!

Superstar Brandon Routh was the recipient of the Best Actor Award at the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films at the Saturn Awards 35th anniversary this year. He was recognized for his role as Superman in 2006 mega-hit Superman Returns. In 2006, this Academy awarded him with a win for Best Male Newcomer. His blockbuster movie led the 2007 ceremony as the biggest winners with five awards in film which included IMTA alum Brandon for Best Actor, for Best Direction Bryan Singer, forbBest Writing Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty, and for Best Music John Ottman. Brandon also received an Empire Award in 2007 in the U.K. for Best Male Newcomer for Superman Returns.

Brandon competed at IMTA in 1999 in New York City. Brandon was a favorite with the agents, managers and casting directors and ended up moving to Los Angeles. Routh was chosen for the role of Superman following an exhaustive search that spanned the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. Thousands of candidates were interviewed before the final selection was made. Prior to his worldwide starring role as the Man of Steel, Routh was best known for his soap work, including roles on One Life to Live and the MTV nighttime soap, Undressed. He's also had guest-starring roles on Cold Case, Will & Grace, and Gilmore Girls. Brandon recently wrapped the dramatic film, Life is Hot in Cracktown which tells various stories of how drugs have infiltrated the inner-city streets.

Alyson Stoner on the Green Carpet at the Premiere of Shrek 3!!!!!

The super cute and talented Alyson Stoner was on the red, or in this case green, carpet at the L.A. premiere for Shrek the Third. She got to hang with other superstars including Justin Timberlake and Corbin Bleu. Alyson, who is both a very talented actor and dancer, has appeared in movies, music videos, on tour and on television. She just wrapped a four year gig co-hosting the very popular Disney Channel Mike's Super Short Show. Alyson has a recurring role as Max in the hit Disney TV show The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and has guest-starred on That's So Raven, Drake and Josh, W.I.T.C.H. and Joey. She co-starred as Sarah Baker in the hilarious movies Cheaper by the Dozen and Cheaper by the Dozen 2 which also featured IMTA alum Ashton Kutcher. In 2006 this amazing young actress won a Young Artist Award for her role in the movie Cheaper by the Dozen 2.

Alyson competed at IMTA in New York City in 2000 and has been a working actress ever since. She is the voice of Holly Hobbie in the dvd's Holly Hobbie and Friends, of KidRat in the Garfield movie, of Victoria in the movie Lilo and Stitch: The Series and most recently as Isabel in Phineas and Ferb, a new Disney Channel animated comedy set to air in this summer. This upcoming cartoon is about kids who use their imaginations to make wild things out of household items during their summer vacation.

Alyson's next big motion picture Alice is in post-production and is about a teenage girl who is mourning the death of her mother. Her life gets upheaved when her father decides to move to a new town and buy a store. To escape the difficulties she is facing Alice portrayed by Alyson, escapes into a vivid fantasy life which sometimes gets her into trouble. Through trial and tribulation Alyson's character grows to accept the realities of her life.

Elijah Wood Produces his First Movie!!!

IMTA alum Elijah Wood is producing his first movie which is based on the novel Black Wings Has My Angel written in 1953 by Elliot Chaze. The novel tells the story of an ex-convict who commits a daring armed robbery with the help of a call girl. Although he will not be in the film Elijah has stated that he is thrilled to be involved in bringing this lost classic back to the screen.

Elijah competed at IMTA in 1989 and has been a working actor ever since. He recently wrapped the film, The Oxford Murders about a college professor and a grad student who to try stop a series of murders which seem to linked by mathematical symbols. Elijah started his own record label, Simian Records and signed indie rock bands Apples in Stereo and Heloise and the Savoir Faire. You can catch Elijah in an encore presentation of Everything is Illuminated May 14 on HBO or in Deep Impact May 20 on TBS!!

Brooke Burns in The Salon in Theaters Today!!

IMTA alum Brooke Burns has a new comedy film opening this Friday, The Salon. The Salon is a sassy and heart-warming film for the entire family and Brooke plays a character named Tami. It is about a neighborhood beauty salon which the Department of Water and Power is forcing to close due to eminent domain. The owner, workers and community all unite to battle the huge corporate giant and it turns out to be a hilarious and uplifting story.

Brooke attended IMTA in 1994 in Los Angeles. After pursuing a modeling career, Burns found her niche on television, appearing on shows such as A Nero Wolfe Mystery, Ally McBeal, Baywatch, North Shore and Pepper Dennis. She also hosted the game show/reality show hybrid, Dog Eat Dog. Brooke is currently filming Miss/Guided a comedy centered on a woman who returns to her high school alma mater to become a guidance counselor and the people she works with. This show was created by Ashton Kutcher, another IMTA alum , and his film company Katalyst Films . Supermodel Zhanna Featured in Sephora Cosmetics Campaign

Check out these stunning shots of Zhanna! She has booked a campaign for Sephora, the leading beauty retailer. Zhanna competed at IMTA in 2003. She is enjoying a very successful modeling career after being scouted and signed at IMTA. Zhanna returned to IMTA as a VIP guest speaker where she addressed the contestants saying,"Learn a lot about the modeling industry. This is the place to do it!"

Zhanna is a popular international model for IMG and has appeared in tons of fashion magazines including Nylon, Teen Vogue and Jane. She has also modeled in many designer fashion shows including Genart, Daryl K and Michael Soheil. Zhanna can also be seen in the April issue of Marie Claire France. Be sure to watch out for this beautiful model in her upcoming promotions for Sephora.

The beautiful and talented Jessica Biel is on the cover Elle Magazine's June 2007 issue and she is featured in an article called "How to be a Modern Bombshell". Some of the topics she discusses are still struggling to get parts she wants, being famous and how it impacts her life, having ‘Her Moment', and her thoughts on turning twenty-five this past March.

Haley Bennett's Movie Music & Lyrics Released on DVD Tuesday!!

IMTA alumni Haley Bennett's latest movie, Music and Lyrics is coming out on DVD May 8th just in time for Mother's Day. In the film, Haley portrays teen singing sensation, Cora Corman, and performs all the songs herself. Haley is currently working on an independent album and has stated that it is " SO exciting! The Music and Lyrics Soundtrack is ranked the Number One Album on ITunes.... among all of the songs, four of them are performed by yours truly, as Cora Corman."

Haley competed at the 2001 IMTA Convention where she met her agents Mara Santino and Ryan Daly of Kazarian/Spencer & Associates. She is currently filming the comedy College in New Orleans. This film is about three high school seniors who have a wild weekend while visiting a local college campus as prospective freshmen. She recently appeared in the February 2007 issue of GQ Magazine. Music and Lyrics is the perfect mother's day gift and will be available in stores May 8th!

IMTA Alumni Films Premiering at Tribeca Film Festival

Sofia Vassilieva and Elijah Wood are two of the tremendously talented IMTA alumni actors who have films debuting at The Tribeca Film Festival this week in New York City. In the film, Day Zero, Sofia portrays a character named Mara and Elijah is one of the stars. The plot tells the story of New York City up heaved by a mandatory draft and follows three best friends, one of whom is played by Elijah Wood, who have drastically diverse reactions when called to duty.

Elijah has another motion picture, Paris je t'aime debuting at The Tribeca Film Festival. This films depicts eighteen different viewpoints of living life in a Parisian city. The Trades describes it as, "Essentially a love letter both from and to the city of Paris, Paris, je t'aime is one of those quirky little films released every so often that are made without pretentiousness by those involved." Sofia was discovered at the IMTA in New York, where she won the title of Child Actress and first runner-up Child Model Of The Year 2000. She went on to star in many films such as Eloise at the Plaza, The Brady Bunch in the White House, and Day Zero. She has received much attention for her role as Ariel Dubois, one of the lead characters on the hit NBC television show crime-mystery drama"Medium". Elijah competed at IMTA in 1989 and has been working ever since. He was scouted by and signed with Al Onorato. Since then, he has had an amazing career and starred in over 40 feature films, including the Academy-Award winning Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

MTV Movie Award Nominations Include IMTA Alumni Films!

The 2007 MTV Movie Awards nominations were announced this week and IMTA Alumni films are among the honorees! Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest leads the pack as the most-nominated film for this year's MTV Movie Awards. Two IMTA alums appeared in this widely popular movie, Americus Abesamis and Neil Panlasigui.

Click, which co- stars the young IMTA alum Joseph Castanon,also received a nomination for a MTV movie award. Joseph portrays the lead character's ( Adam Sandler) son.

Another young up and coming actor and IMTA alum, Moises Arias's film Nacho Libre is up for an award as well.

One of IMTA's most recognizable actors Josh Duhamel has a movie nominated in a new category: his upcoming film The Transformers: The Movie is competing for 'Best Summer Movie You Haven't Seen Yet'. Josh Duhamel in Celebrity Golf Charity Event!

Josh Duhamel participated in the Ninth Annual Michael Douglas and Friends Celebrity Golf Event in Palos Verde, CA this past weekend. Proceeds from the charity game provide health and community services to the needy in the entertainment industry. Also taking part in the game, were Catherine Zeta-Jones, Heather Locklear, Mark Wahlberg and Samuel L. Jackson.

Josh is an alum from the New York, New York 1997 IMTA Convention where he competed and won the title of Male Model of the Year. Male Model of the Year is an award given to the model who earns the top composite score in the IMTA modeling competititions (Runway, Swimwear, Jeans, Fashion Print, TV Beauty Commercial). Since then, Josh was cast as Leo du Pres on the daytime drama All My Children for three seasons. He has been starring in NBC's hit drama Las Vegas, which is in its fifth season.
Josh is not only talented and gorgeous but he has a heart of gold and supports good causes!

IMTA Alumni featured as Most Beautiful People!

Two IMTA alumni made People Magazine's Most Beautiful People of 2007 issue! Eva Longoria and Jessica Biel were two of eleven celebrities photographed without makeup for the issue to show their natural beauty!

The annual list has featured several IMTA alumni in past years. This marks the fifth year in a row IMTA has had stars on the list! Brandon Routh, Ashton Kutcher, Josh Duhamel, Eva Longoria, Katie Holmes, and Beverly Peele all made previous Most Beautiful People Issue!
