Jill Wagner is cast in Stargate Atlantis!

Catch Jill Wagner on the sci-fi channel series Stargate Atlantis. She will play the character of Larrin in "The Travelers." Find your local listings from MGM here. Jill was the 2001 IMTA Model of the Year. She made her national debut as an undercover operative on a full season of fellow IMTA alum Ashton Kutcher's MTV series Punk'd.

Some of Jill's other credits include Blade, The Series and she has been the Mercury spokesmodel in commercials, in print and on the internet since 2005. Jill also made the latest Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive issue.

Catch IMTA Alum Jessica Biel in her New Feature Film!

The always talented and gorgeous IMTA alum Jessica Biel has a new major motion picture being released today, titled Next. Jessica has been on a whirlwind promotion publicity tour appearing on several talk shows including The View and The Late Show with David Letterman.

The thriller stars Nicholas Cage in an exciting plot that involves his character's ability to see a few minutes into the future. Jessica plays his love interest Liz, a supportive girlfriend at the center of the love story.

Jessica competed at IMTA in 1994 and has appeared in several major motion pictures since as well as her role as Mary Camden in the favorite series 7th Heaven. When Jessica competed at IMTA, she was a quadruple threat. She could model, act, sing and dance! With her hard work and great talents, she has risen to A-list status and is one of the hottest celebrities in the world!

IMTA Alum's Summer Films Featured in Entertainment Weekly this Week!!

Some of summer's hottest films starring IMTA alums are featured in Entertainment Weekly's special double issue out this week! All the buzz on this summer's new releases are listed in " a definitive guide to possibly the biggest summer in history." Jessica Biel, Elijah Wood, and Josh Duhamel are among the fabulous IMTA stars who have movies being released this summer.

Elijah's film, Paris, Je T'Aime is a collections of 18 vignettes about a Parisian neighborhood. Jessica Biel stars in the comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry which is about two straight, single Brooklyn firefighters pretending to be a gay couple in order to receive domestic partner benefits. Josh Duhamel's upcoming summer film is offering online extras!

IMTA alum Josh Duhamel's upcoming feature film Transformers The Movie is offering new wallpapers for download on the official site! This greatly-anticipated film is being wide-released July 4th weekend! Josh plays Captain Lennox in the film. You may know Josh as Danny McCoy on the hit NBC series Las Vegas which is now in its fifth season .

Josh Duhamel was the IMTA New York 1997 Male Model of the Year, narrowly beating Ashton Kutcher for the title (who won the title of Most Sought After Male Model). Josh is not only talented and gorgeous but he has a great sense of humor and is a truly nice guy! He is going to be a big hit this summer!

Jessica Biel guest on The Late Show with David Letterman!

Tonight on The Late Show with David Letterman, catch IMTA alum Jessica Biel as the featured guest. She is promoting her new movie Next, starring Nicholas Cage and Julianne Moore. Next opens April 27th nationwide. Jessica is a frequent guest on Letterman's show. This will be her fourth appearance on his show. Check your local listings for showtimes!

Jessica Biel competed at IMTA in 1994 where she debuted her acting, singing and dancing abilities. She signed with an agent and manager who helped her land the breakthrough role of Mary Camden on the beloved long-running WB series 7th Heaven. Katie Holmes on location filming her new movie!

IMTA alum Katie Holmes is on location in Louisiana shooting the comedic caper Mad Money with Queen Latifah and Diane Keaton. Katie portrays Jackie who along with two coworkers is plotting to steal money that is about to be destroyed at the Federal Reserve Bank.

Katie attended IMTA in 1993 and 1995. She won Junior Talent of the Year in 1995 and met the managers who started her career. Her talent, charm, natural sweetness and hard work have brought her to A-list celebrity status. Katie's breakout role was as Joey on the WB's Dawson's Creek. She went on to star in the major blockbuster Batman Begins, has been in numerous movie and television shows and has graced the covers of a multitude of magazines. You can see Katie nightly on TBS in encore presentations of Dawson's Creek and watch for this exciting film to come out!!

It's the One Year Anniversary of THAT IMTA BLOG!

Wow! It has been a year of exciting IMTA alumni projects already! We have had 365 days full of an amazing variety of projects that feature models, actors, singers and dancers who got their career started by competing at IMTA. The photo above of Jessica Biel was actually the very first photo featured on the blog. Thanks to all our loyal readers and visitors for your support! And now....the year in review!:

• Brandon Routh debuts as Superman, the first in the franchise in the awesome film, Superman Returns. Brandon competed at the New York, 1999 IMTA Convention.

• Eva Longoria is named Maxim magazine's #1 on the Hot 100 List. She also appeared on numerous magazine covers, is named L'Oreal and Bebe Sport's spokeswoman as well as debuting in her first feature film and continuing her much-beloved role as Gabrielle Solis in the world-wide smash hit series Desperate Housewives! Eva competed at Los Angeles, 1998 IMTA Convention where she received 38 callbacks from agents interested in representing her.

• Jessica Biel starred in one of 2006's most critically acclaimed films, The Illusionist. She also presented awards at The Academy Awards and The Emmy Awards. Jessica appeared on numerous magazine covers and was a guest on several talk shows. Jessica competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 1994.

• Hayley Bennett made her feature film debut in the hit Music and Lyrics. She is recording material for her first album. Hayley also did a lot of publicity for the film, interviews and is one of the hottest up and coming actresses in Hollywood. Hayley competed at IMTA in 2001.

• Sean Harju, IMTA's 2006 1st Runner Up Male Model of the Year, is one of the hottest models on the fashion scene. He modeled in NINE shows during New York's fashion week as well as the very prestigious Calvin Klein's Milan show!

• Jerry Ferrara stars in his fourth season as the beloved Turtle on the HBO hit series Entourage. Jerry competed at IMTA in 2000.

• Jessica White was a featured model for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue! She had a special shoot on location in Los Angeles with photographer Anne Menke. She was also chosen for a special feature "Models and Musicians" and was photographed with rock stars Gnarls Barkley. Jessica competed at IMTA in 1999.

• Ashton Kutcher and Josh Duhamel were named on People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive list! Both of these handsome actors were alumni of the New York, New York 1997 IMTA Convention.

• Supermodel Zhanna appeared in tons of magazine and advertising layouts. She is represented by IMG Models.

Marissa Irwin appears in Seventeen Magazine!

IMTA Alum, model Marissa Irwin can be seen in the May issue of Seventeen magazine. She appears in a beauty photo-essay with tips for glamorous hair. Check on her out on page 143!

Marissa recently appeared in multi-page editorial layout for the cutting edge magazine Zink. She appeared in the January 2007 issue. Here are some striking images from that shoot. She is wearing a tunic by designer Max Mara, tights by Wolford and Manolo Blahnik heels.

Catch Adrianne Palicki on Friday Night Lights tonight!

IMTA alum Adrianne Palicki is starring as Tyra Colette on NBC's hit new series Friday Night Lights. The plot of this new drama revolves around the small town of Dillon, Texas, where only one night matters: Friday Night. This show illustrates the pressure that the town creates for the high school football players to win, the hope that the team gives to the town, and how they all come together on their way to victory.

Adrianne competed at IMTA in New York City in 2001. She was signed by an agent and went on to work in both film and television. Her first feature-film was starring as Judy Robinson in film Lost in Space, a remake of the classic television program. Other films she worked in include the independent features Seven Mummies and Popstar, starring Aaron Carter. Most recently she had a supporting role in the Rob Reiner film Rumor Has It.

Her television credits include guest appearances on Smallville, CSI, North Shore and Supernatural. Adrianne is well known for her portrayal of the sassy "Brianna" on the television drama South Beach. Don't Miss Romeo and Juliet starring Americus Abesamis!

Now through April 28th, American Abesamis will star in the play Romeo & Juliet at the Odyssey Theater in Santa Monica, California. The play is described as "Shakespeare's timeless classic set against a political backdrop in Verona, California, 2007. Red states, Blue states, Democrats, Republicans, powerful families, gangs, hatred, murder, and a love story that transcends it all! This version, of what may be his most beautiful play, will be presented in less than two hours; keeping the show modern, yet retaining Shakespeare's original language. A language that speaks to us as clearly now as it did to the folks who saw it in 1595, when it was first performed."

Americus competed at IMTA in New York in 1999 and 2000 with Tomorrow Talent and has appeared in numerous television shows, feature films, commercials, music videos, and now theatrical plays!

Jerry Ferrara In Entourage Season Premeire This Sunday!!

IMTA alumni Jerry Ferrara portrays Turtle in the smash HBO series Entourage now starting it's third season. He portrays a guy who knows that he's living the perfect life, and doesn't care he's gotten there by riding Vince's (the lead character) coattails. Always on the hustle, Turtle takes advantage of every opportunity Los Angeles has to offer. Loyal to Vince, he is now in charge of running the day-to-day operations of the house. Although he may seem like the low man on the totem pole, the entourage wouldn't be having half as much fun without him.



Jerry competed at IMTA in 2000 where he met a talent manager who encouraged him to move to Los Angeles. Jerry got guest-spots on King of Queens, NYPD Blue and many other television shows and films before he landed the breakthrough role on Entourage. Moises Arias on Hannah Montana Two Nights this Week!!!

IMTA alum Moises Arias will be appearing on TWO episodes this week. Catch Moises as Rico, a spoiled rich kid who lives in Malibu and delights in teasing the other characters on Disney's terrifically popular show Hannah Montana. Moises has been a recurring character on this popular television. He attended IMTA in 2005 and started working immediately. In two short years he has been in the feature film Nacho Libre. He also been on Everybody Hates Chris, The Disney Channel Games and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

He is currently filming a movie called The Perfect Game. This movie is based on a true story of a group of boys from Monterrey, Mexico who become the first non-U.S. team to win the Little League World Series. Don't miss Moises this week on Hannah Montana!!!

Get in the driver's seat with Riley in "Drive" online!

Riley Smith is in the new NBC series "Drive." Riley portrays a young man named Rob Laird, who is competing in an illegal cross-country road race. "Drive" is premiering with a two-hour special on April 15th. If you can't wait that long, you can check out the official "Drive" website on FOX.com. Featured on the website you can play the character of Rob Laird and race against other players in the online game.

Riley competed at IMTA in 1997. Little known IMTA fact - Riley was Ashton Kutcher's roomate that week! Keep your eyes peeled and the pedal to the metal for the hot, new series premiere "Drive" on April 15th.
