Kyle Lowder Update!

IMTA alum Kyle Lowder recently released a new compilation CD. Kyle Lowder IMTA 2000 stars in the very popular television soap The Bold and The Beautiful. Kyle plays a huge supporting role on the show as Rick Forrester. Before playing Rick Forrester on B&B, Kyle portrayed Brady Black on Days of Our Lives for nine years!

Drew Tyler Bell plays Thomas Forrester, the teenage son of Ridge Forrester and Taylor Hayes Forrester. Drew has been a recurring character since 2004. You may have seen Drew guest-starring on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation recently. He played the role of Max Stanton in the episode "Deep Fried and Minty Fresh" which aired first aired in February, 2009. Drew also guest-starred as Charlie on an episode of another IMTA alum's hit show...Eva Longoria's Desperate Housewives! He also guest-starred on 90210 this fall in "The Bubble." Drew competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2001.

Kyle Lowder plays Rick Forrester, the son of Brooke Logan and Eric Forrester. Kyle joined the cast in 2007. The Bold & The Beautiful IMTA news!

IMTA alum Drew Tyler Bell is reprising his role as Thomas Forrester on The Bold & The Beautiful! He is guest-starring in three very special episodes and fans are clamoring for more! Drew competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2001. Drew competed in acting and modeling competitions and even made it to the talent showcase with his dance performance. He attracted a lot of agency interest and signed and moved to L.A.

Drew Tyler Bell has also guest-starred on CW's 90210 and ABC Family's series The Middleman! Drew has appeared in the feature films The Seeker: The Dark is Rising and Her Best Move. He was also part of the cast of the hit Broadway show Spring Awakenings for a limited engagement.

The Bold & The Beautiful has another IMTA alumni who is a series regular. Kyle Lowder plays Rick and his storyline is the dominant plot point right now! His character has been injured and is possibly paralyzed.

Playing Rick Forrester, Kyle is actually resuming a role that was originally played by another IMTA alum, Justin Torkildsen who played the character for four years. Kyle competed at IMTA and won Male Model of the Year and Most Sought After in 2000. Kyle Lowder wins an International Soap Award!

Kyle Lowder won an International Soap Award for The Bold and the Beautiful in Monte Carlo last week. The International TV Audience Award is given for the highest ranked Soap Opera and this year it went to Kyle's show and he accepted on behalf of his cast! The award includes television films, mini-series, TV series, documentaries, news and a number of special prizes including the Prince Rainier III Award and International Red Cross Committee Award.

IMTA alum Kyle Lowder has been nominated for 'Outstanding Male Actor in a New Role or Recast' by TV Guide Canada's First Annual Soap Opera Spirit Award . These awards recognize the best actors, writers, and production, recognizing talent that has contributed to the daytime TV art form. Winners will be chosen by the editors of TV Guide Canada, and will be announced on Today on TVGuide.ca. The Soap Opera Spirit Awards has 17 categories to acknowledge and award the industry.

IMTA's Model of the Year have also been won by other famous faces such as Josh Duhamel who won in 1997 and can currently be seen starring in the popular NBC television show Las Vegas, and 2000's winner Kyle Lowder who is currently starring on The Bold and the Beautiful. Jill Wagner won Model of the Year in 2001 and is starring in the science fiction TV show Stargate Atlantis.
