Brittany Curran and Brock Ciarlelli Nominated for a Young Artist Award!



IMTA alum Brock Ciarlelli is nominated for an award for BEST PERFORMANCE IN A TV SERIES, Recurring Young Actor for his performance on the TV sereis The Middle. Brock plays the recurring role of Brad Bottig, the new love interest of one of main characters, Sue. Brock competed at IMTA in New York City where he won Winner of Best Monolgue! He is currently in post production on 2.0.


Brittany Curran is nominated for BEST SUPPORTING ROLE IN A TV SERIES COMEDY OR DRAMA for her performance in Men of a Certain Age! Brittany plays Lucy, the daughter of the lead character played by Ray Romano. The Award Ceremony will take place in Studio City, Ca. on Sunday March 13, 2011!

Other IMTA alums who have been won or been nominated for this prestigious award include: Sofia Vassilieva, who competed at IMTA in 2000. She won a Young Artists Awards for BEST PERFORMANCE IN A FEATURE FILM for Supporting Young Actress for her outstanding job as Kate Fitzgerald in the film My Sister's Keeper! Joseph Castanon (IMTA 2004) was nominated for BEST PERFORMANCE IN A SHORT FILM for a Young Actor in the film Santa's Little Helper where he portrayed Marlon; and Kayley Stallings (IMTA 2006) was nominated for BEST PERFORMANCE IN LIVE THEATER for her role in the play How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

Kayley Stallings Update!

IMTA alum Kayley Stallings was recently in the TV movie The Dog Who Stole Christmas! In this heartwarming holiday story, Kayley played Kara Bannister.


Kayley, who competed at IMTA in 2006, has worked on many projects such as: Dr. Seuss' The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. After competing at IMTA, went on to do a national AT&T commercial. She has guest-starred on Monk and in a Promo for New York City Schools. Most recently, Kayley wrapped up filming yet another national commercial – this time for Wal-Mart!

Vote for IMTA's Joseph Castanon, Kayley Stallings and Sofia Vassilieva!

Vote for IMTA alums Kayley Stallings, Joseph Castanon and Sofia Vassilieva for a Young Artist Awards. These awards are given once a year and are are like Oscars for children! You can vote up to April 10, then the vote will be tabulated. The official award ceremony will be at the Gala event scheduled to take place on Sunday April 11, 2010 at the Beverly Garland in Studio City, California. Joseph is nominated in the BEST PERFORMANCE IN A SHORT FILM for a Young Actor in the film Santa's Little Helper where he portrayed Marlon. He competed at IMTA in 2004 and he recently wrapped Nic and Tristan Go Mega Dega. His movie Happiness Runs is opening in limited release May 7, 2010!

Kayley is nominated for BEST PERFORMANCE IN LIVE THEATER in the play How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Kayley, who competed at IMTA in 2006, starred as the adorable Cindy-Lou Who in the play. Kayley recently booked the film The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation!

Sofia Vassilieva is nominated for BEST PERFORMANCE IN A FEATURE FILM for a Supporting Young Actress. She competed at IMTA in 2000 and is nominated for her role in My Sister's Keeper. Sofia can be seen as Ariel Dubois in the popular TV show Medium!
