Moises Arias on Wizards of Waverly Place!

IMTA alum Moises Arias will guest-star on Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place tonight! He will play Conscience, the character of Max's conscience, in the episode called Monster Hunt! On November 20, he will appear again as the same character in a episode called Doll House completing a three episode story arc and cross-show promotion! Moises also has a feature film in theaters now! He voices the character Zane in the animated action adventure Astro Boy. Moises also appeared on the Bonnie Hunt show yesterday with other Disney stars!!


Moises competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2005 with his brother Mateo. Shortly after IMTA, Moises got his break with appearances on Everybody Hates Chris and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody before landing the role of Rico on the hit show Hannah Montana! He made his feature film debut in 2006 starring in Nacho Libre opposite Jack Black. He competed at the 2008 Disney Channel Games with fellow IMTA alumni, Alyson Stoner and Kunal Sharma. He also starred in the film Hannah Montana: The Movie, The Perfect Game, a baseball movie, Beethoven's Big Break and Dadnapped!

IMTA alum Moises Arias is part of the Disney channels cross over event tonight! According to Disney: “Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana, the crossover event of summer that intersects three hit series and superstars among kids and tweens, will be presented FRIDAY, JULY 17 (8:00 - 9:30 p.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The 90-minute telecast stars the casts of Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place and The Suite Life on Deck” Moises, who competed at IMTA in 2005 plays the irascible Rico on Hannah Montana!

Moises competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2005 with his brother Mateo. IMTA alumni on Disney's Totally New Year!!

This New Year's Eve, Disney Channel invites you to party with the stars! It's Disney Channel's Totally New Year! And IMTA alumni Alyson Stoner, Tiffany Thornton and Moises Arias will ALL be part of the celebration.

Camp Rock's Alyson Stoner will be co-hosting with Meaghan Martin and Roshon Fegan. And look for special appearances by fellow IMTA alumni Hannah Montana's Moises Arias and Sonny with a Chance's Tiffany Thornton! Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Cole and Dylan Sprouse, Mitchel Musso, Emily Osment and many other stars of the Disney Channel family will be there too!

Alyson is an alum of the New York, 2000 IMTA Convention and Moises competed at the L.A. 2005 IMTA Convention where they met the managers and agents who got their careers started! Tiffany competed at IMTA in 2003 and won Junior Actress of the Year!

Moises Arias Season 1 of Hannah Montana now on DVD!

IMTA alum Moises Arias has a new DVD available for sale now, the first season of Hannah Montana! This four disc set is a the compete first season with extras included! Moises plays Rico in Season 1 and Season 2 of the television show. He just wrapped Hannah Montana: The Movie, a Walt Disney Production based on the hit series. It will be a music-filled comedy adventure about Hannah Montana's popularity taking over Miley's character's life. Moises reprises his role of Rico for the big-screen treatment, which will be released in 2009.

Moises recently helped the non profit Team Up. According to Variety: " Their mission is to help save lives by taking the guns out of the hands of inner city youth and replacing those guns with video cameras. With those cameras the youth will educate, motivate and provide a positive alternative by showing kids how to capture their own futures. The program exposes a positive lifestyle through vision by saying "NO" to violence, drugs, teenage pregnancy, and crime, and saying "YES" to family values, education, and breaking negative cycles. "

Moises Arias is currently on location in Tennessee filming the new Hannah Montana movie! It the first full-length feature film for star Miley Cyrus, and series regulars Billy Ray Cyrus, Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso and of course, IMTA's favorite, Moises Arias who plays Rico!

Hannah Montana: The Movie is a Walt Disney Production based on the hit series. It will be a music-filled comedy adventure about Hannah Montana's popularity taking over Miley's character's life. With encouragement from her father, the teen and her friends travel back to her homeown in Tennessee. The movie is scheduled for release in May of 2009.

Moises plays Rico in Season 1 and Season 2 of Hannah Montana. He was in the feature film Nacho Libre with Jack Black. Moises recently competed at the 2008 Disney Channel Games with fellow IMTA alumni, Alyson Stoner and Kunal Sharma. Moises made a cameo appearance in The Jonas Brother's music video S.O.S. where he steals Joe Jonas' girlfriend. Moises will appear in the Disney channel original movie, Dadnapped.

Moises Arias update!

The Disney Television Channel formally announced a third season of Hannah Montana starring IMTA alum and series regular Moises Arias. Moises plays Rico on the popular Disney's kid's show which recently got a nod for an Emmy. Moises just wrapped Dadnapped a movie about sibling rivalry, kidnapping and spies. Moises plays the part of Andre in this family-friendly film. He is currently filming Beethoven: The Reel Story about an animal trainer whose famous dog gets kidnapped. Moises competed at IMTA in 2005 and started working immediately. He has appeared in the feature film Nacho Libre. He guest-starred on the television shows Everybody Hates Chris, Everybody loves Raymond, and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. He recently finished filming The Perfect Game, a movie about a poor Mexican Baseball team who work together to win the Little League World Championship. You can catch Moises on Hannah Montana now on the Disney Channel and soon on the big screen when this movie is released on August 15.

Catch IMTA Alumns on the Primetime Emmy Awards!

Don't miss the Primetime Emmy Awards airing this weekend September 16 on Fox. IMTA alums are all over this year's celebration with 17 nominations among their hit shows. The hugely successful IMTA alumns Jerry Ferrara and Eva Longoria have the added honor of acting as a presenters as well as being up for awards themselves. The Emmy Awards celebrate superior work thoughout all the different areas of television. More than 12,000 members of the Academy who are people also working in the industry vote for the category of competition in their arena of expertise and our alums dominated many categories this year.

IMTA alum Jerry Ferrara's runaway success show Entourage received 7 nominations! Jerry starred in the fourth season as the beloved Turtle on the HBO hot series Entourage. Jerry competed at IMTA in 2000. Originally from Brooklyn, Ferrara landed his first role on CBS’ comedy The King of Queens. His television credits include NYPD Blue and Grounded for Life. Upcoming projects include Gardener of Eden, Where God Left His Shoes and he just wrapped the feature film Brooklyn Rules.
Our favorite Desperate Housewife and IMTA alumn Eva Longoria's show was nominated for 6 awards. Eva has been busy with many leading projects since competing at IMTA in 1998. She starred in the films Harsh Times, The Sentinel, and in L.A. Dragnet. Her television roles include guest spots on The Bold and the Beautiful, General Hospital, Beverly Hills, 90210, and The Young and the Restless. Eva has been named one of AOL's "Sexist Primetime TV stars", one of People's "50 Most Beautiful", the "#1 Hottest Woman in the World" by Maxim, voted by Variety as one of the "Ten New Faces to Watch", one of Rolling Stone's "People of the Year," USA Today's "TV's Hot 11" and TV Guide's "New Faces of Fall." She has an exclusive worldwide contract as the face of L'Oreal, is the spokeswoman for both Bebe apparel and Padres Contra El Cancer,which helps Latinos with cancer, and she just shot a PSA for cancer awareness. Adrianne Palicki's series Friday Night Lights received two nominations for Emmys. Adrianne competed at IMTA in New York City in 2003. She was signed by an agent and went on to work in both film and television. Her first feature-film was starring as Judy Robinson in film Lost in Space, and she had a supporting role in the Rob Reiner film Rumor Has It. Her television credits include guest appearances on Smallville, CSI, North Shore and Supernatural. Adrianne is well known for her portrayal of the sassy "Brianna" on the television drama South Beach.

The very popular kid's show Disney's Hannah Montana which stars IMTA alum Moises Arias, as Rico, also got a nod from Emmy. Moises competed at IMTA in 2005 and started working immediately. Sofia Vassilieva was discovered at IMTA in New York, where she won the title of Child Actress and first runner-up Child Model Of The Year 2000. She went on to star in many films such as Eloise at the Plaza, The Brady Bunch in the White House, and Day Zero. She has received much attention for her role as Ariel Dubois, one of the lead characters on the hit NBC television show crime-mystery drama Medium which is nominated for an Emmy Award.

Catch Moises Arias in Closing of the Disney Channel Games!

Don't miss IMTA alum and Disney Red team member Moise Arias this Sunday August 25th for the Disney Channel game closing. All summer long stars of popular Disney Channel Television shows have been competing on one of two teams, the Red or the Blue. Moises who plays smart alec Rico on the smash hit Hannah Montana has been competing his hardest for the Red team. Some of games we have seen him compete in include the dunk tank, rock, paper, scissors showdown and on and the obstacle course.

Moises competed at IMTA in 2005 and started working immediately. In just two years, he has appeared in the motion pictures Nacho Libre. He guest starred on television on Everybody Hates Chris, Everybody loves Raymond, and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. He is currently filming the part of Mario in The Perfect Game based on a true story about a group of poor children in Mexico who win 13 games in a row and the Little League World Series.
