IMTA alum Wendy Motte is portraying Helen Keller in the play The Miracle Worker! According to her official website: "Wendi Motte portrays the Legendary Helen Keller in the renowned story of "The Miracle Worker"....It is an extreme honor for Wendi Motte, Age 11 to play this phenomenal breakthrough role. Wendi will be performing under the stage production of a well known and respected Carol Jean Delmar Production. Ms. Delmar is a Los Angeles theater and opera critic."
Wendi competed at IMTA in 2007 where she won many awards including Child Model of the Year Award! She also won the Swimwear, Runway and Fashion Print Competitions for her division and Honorable Mention for Child Actor of the Year. Since competing at IMTA, she has appeared in national commercials for: Burger King, Moxie Girlz, Time Warner Cable, Regional Academy Sports and Outdoors, International Claire's Accessories print and online campaign and Target Ads. She is currently in post-production on the film Eye of the Hurricane.
