Wayne Lopez in G.I. Joe The Rise of the Cobra!

Wayne Lopez, who competed at IMTA and won Talent of the Year, is in the new action adventure movie GI Joe: The Rise of the Cobra which is in theaters now!!! Wayne portrays a GI Joe Security Tech in this film about a specialized military teamed made up of soldiers known as G.I. Joe. They are fighting against a corrupt group which is being lead by an evil arms dealer!


Wayne plays a recurring role as a clerk in the TNT Television show called Raising The Bar, a Stephen Bochco produced, courtroom television drama! He has also has a recurring role (4 epiosdes) as a Paramedic in Grey's Anatomy. Wayne was in the dramatic film The Soloist where he played Officer Hank. Wayne's resume includes guest-starring roles on Rules of Engagement, ER, Without a Trace, Joey, IMTA alum Eva Longoria's hit show Desperate Housewives, Six Feet Under, CSI: Miami, and in a Subway commercial with Joe Torre and Willie Randolf.
After becoming an actor, Wayne gave us an interview and said,"The IMTA experience opened a lot of doors, I can't even say doors, doors are too small...avenues!"

Wayne Lopez in The Soloist Opens Tonight!


IMTA alum Wayne Lopez appears in The Soloist. The feature film has an Academy and Golden Globe Award-winning cast with Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey, Jr as the leads. Wayne plays Officer Hank in the drama that is being hailed as one of the best films of the year.

Wayne won Talent of the Year when he competed at IMTA. He is a very busy Hollywood actor who has had guest-starring and recurring roles on Rules of Engagement, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Six Feet Under, ER, The Shield, Boston Public, CSI: NY, How I Met Your Mother, and many other feature films and television shows. Wayne is a very personable, likable actor who books distinctive character roles.

When asked about what coming to IMTA did for his career, Wayne said, "The IMTA experience opened a lot of doors, I can't even say doors, doors are too small...avenues!"

Wayne Lopez on CSI:NY Tonight!

IMTA alum Wayne Lopez will be on CSI: NY airing tonight, Wednesday April 8 at 10/9c on CBS. In an encore presentation of an episode titled Prey, Wayne plays a manager. The story revolves around a staged murder in a movie theater. He also appears in an encore presentation of the episode Wet Foot/Dry Foot airing on AETV on Sunday April 12.


Wayne's film The Soloist where he plays Officer Hank is opening in theaters on April 25! The movie is about a homeless musician who suffers from schizophrenia and is trying to achieve his dream of playing Walt Disney Concert Hall. This film stars Robert Downey Jr., Catherine Keener and Jamie Foxx. He recently shot Raising The Bar, a Stephen Bochco produced, courtroom television drama that will air on TNT this Fall.

Wayne Lopez Update!

IMTA alum Wayne Lopez is in post production on the film The Soloist where he plays Officer Hank. The story revolves around a homeless musician from Skid Row who suffers from schizophrenia while attempting to achieve his life long dream to play at Walt Disney Concert Hall. This film stars Robert Downey Jr., Catherine Keener and Jamie Foxx and is expected in theaters on November 21!

Wayne recently shot Raising The Bar, a Stephen Bochco produced, courtroom drama that will air on TNT this Fall. Wayne will be the clerk in this exciting new television show. Wayne Lopez on Rules of Engagement Tonight!


Look for Wayne Lopez tonight on the hysterically funny sitcom Rules of Engagement tonight on CBS. This entertaining episode is called Fix-Up and Down and is set in the big city of New York City where Wayne plays the doorman. Wayne said,"The show was really fun to work on and David Spade was really cool."

Wayne recently shot the pilot for the Steven Bochco's television show Raising the Bar where he plays a clerk in the drama about law school classmates who take on former rivals in court. Raising the Bar is scheduled to air in 2008.
