Zhanna on Project Runway!

Check out these amazing shots of IMTA alum and top model Zhanna! Last week. at our yearly IMTA event in New York City, Zhanna shared with us that she is appearing on the new season of Project Runway! Zhanna shared some great information with us at IMTA when we last inteviewed her:

IMTA: Please describe your IMTA experience...

Zhanna: In one phrase, that actually is quoted to this day at every IMTA convention: "It's the place to go, to make your dreams come true in the industry...

IMTA: What are your best tips for success for someone who wants to be a model?

Zhanna: Do not lose focus of what is important, modeling is a tough job, never the less very rewarding. The travel, the social life, the perks can go to your head and you can lose focus of why you started to model in the first place, I can not even say how many models I have met through out my career that have been dropped by their agencies because of bad conduct and not doing their job. Stay healthy, eat healthy and always stay close to your family one way or the other, that always keeps your feet on the ground makes you want to do better as a model.

IMTA: What did you learn at IMTA that helps you in your career?

Zhanna: EVERYTHING, How to walk, how to pose, how to talk to clients, how to portray myself as a professional model and as a professional woman.

Three IMTA Alumni on Project Runway!

Megan Davis, Erin Burton and series regular Holly Ridings will all appear on this season of Project Runway. Tonight's episode is called The Hi's and Low's of Fashion and airs tonight on Lifetime! Get the IMTA insider scoop on Megan, Erin and Holly below:

Megan Davis attended IMTA in 2008 and got selected to be on the new season of Project Runway.

Holly competed at two IMTA Conventions. She first competed in New York in 2000, and then came back to compete at IMTA three years later. She is represented by Elite Model Management, the biggest modeling agency in the world.

Erin competed at IMTA twice! She came to New York 2006 IMTA and New York 2007. She signed with Passport Model Management of San Francisco. She started the first round of Project Runway with over 1000 models and won! Please read a recent interview with Erin below:

What did you win and how will you be involved with the show?

Erin Burton: I won a chance to be on both Models of the Runway and Project Runway on the Lifetime Network.

What did you learn at IMTA that you think you will use during Project Runway?

Confidence. IMTA is such a learning experience, that builds confidence and really shows you what it's like to work in the industry.

How did your IMTA experience help you in the Project Runway competition?

Part of the Models of the Runway Casting Challenge, was a "Runway Walk video", and I really learned a lot about walking the runway at IMTA. I tried to go to all the seminars about runway, and really listen and then practice what I learned.

Erin Mackenzie wins Models of the Runway Casting Challenge!

IMTA alumni and Images Model Agency alum Erin Mackenzie is the winner of the Models of the Runway Casting Challenge. Erin will be appearing on the next season of Project Runway and sister show Models of the Runway! The season premiere of Models of the Runway will be on Thursday, January 14, at 11 p.m. ET/PT on the Lifetime network.

Erin competed at IMTA twice! She came to New York 2006 IMTA and New York 2007. She signed with Passport Model Management of San Francisco. She started the first round of Project Runway with over 1000 models and won! Erin talked to us about her IMTA experience saying,"I absolutely loved IMTA. The first time I went was such a learning experience and it showed me that I wanted to work in the modeling industry. IMTA was amazing!"
