IMTA Alumni Eva Longoria and Josh Duhamel reminisce about their IMTA experience on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno! The International Modeling and Talent Association, or IMTA, is a professional organization of the finest and most successful modeling and talent training centers in the world. Since 1987, IMTA has become the recognized leader in putting new faces in front of the people whose business it is to identify that elusive spark that heralds the next rising star or supermodel. An impressive – and constantly growing – list of discoveries from IMTA Conventions makes it impossible to open a magazine, see a fashion show, turn on the television, or watch a motion picture without seeing a face first seen at IMTA.

Josh Duhamel is the New Face of ARROW Shirts!

IMTA alum Josh Duhamel stars with top international model Bar Refaeli in the new campaign for ARROW shirts!

Josh is currently working on four new films, New Year's Eve, Fire with Fire, Movie 43, and Stano. Josh competed at IMTA in 1997 where he edged out fellow competitor Ashton Kutcher to win the prestigious title of Male Model of the Year! Josh recently released the hit film, Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Josh also returned as Leo du Pres on All My Children before the show's end and voices the character of Oz in the animated Disney channel show Fanboy and Chum Chum.

The 2011 New York IMTA Convention Begins!

The 2011 New York IMTA is off to a great start! Today, we began our modeling and talent competitions with Team Singing, Team Dance and Team Fashion! The Contestants looked and performed beautifully! To see all of our live coverage, please follow IMTA on Twitter!

Miles Heizer in Parenthood!

IMTA alum Miles Heizer's new show Parenthood premieres on Tuesday March 3rd on NBC! The series is based on the hit 80's movie of the same name and is directed by Ron Howard. The all-star cast includes: Peter Krause as Adam Braverman, Lauren Graham as Sarah Braverman, Craig T. Nelson as Zeek Braverman, Dax Shepard as Crosby Braverman, and Miles Heizer as Drew Braverman. The drama will tell the story of brothers and sisters who have families of their own and the issues and challenges that arise when raising a family.

Miles won Pre-Teen Male Model of the Year and First Runner Up for Pre-Teen Actor of the Year at IMTA in 2004. It was his success at the Convention that led to the family’s decision to relocate to Los Angeles, where he signed with TJ Stein of the Stein Entertainment Group. His first roles included a guest-starring role on CSI:Miami, followed by a starring role in the short film Paramedic, and guest-star turns on the hit TV shows Bones, Ghost Whisperer, Private Practice and Shark. Miles co-starred in the dramatic movie Rails and Ties with Kevin Bacon.

Jessica Biel on the Cover of Bazaar

Jessica Biel looks stunning as she is featured on the current cover of Bazaar! The photoshoot for the magazine was anything but ordinary. Jessica brought her own personality and style into the shoot as she danced with her favorite designers wearing their work. Jessica and Diane von Furstenberg do the Charleston, then Jessica waltzes with Zac Posen, cha-chas with Oscar de la Renta, salsas with Calvin Klein’s Francisco Costa, and becomes a ballerina with Vera Wang.

During the photo shoot with Vera Wang, she exclaimed about Jessica, “She has an easy way about her and good energy, which, in Hollywood terms, is refreshing.” Jessica thought the same as Vera and declared “She really had a fantastic personality, I felt like I just wanted advice from her: ‘Anything you can think of, tell me!’ That’s sort of someone who can become a close friend of mine — fun, exuberant, and creative.”

Jessica truly enjoyed the experience of working with all of the fashion designers. “They were all so wonderfully unique,” she stated after completing the shoot.

Many beautiful models and appealing actors will be showing their skills to the agents, managers, casting directors and industry VIP's this week, who will be scouting for new faces to represent, just like Jessica did in 1994! At IMTA, she met her manager who shortly thereafter landed her the role as Mary Camden on the hit televison show 7th Heaven. Jessica didn't just stop there, but has been on the big screen in movies such as The Illusionist, Next, and Home of the Brave ever since. She has even started her own production company called Iron Ocean Films, in hopes to venture into an entirely different world in the movie business.

Melody Woodin in Marie Claire!

IMTA alum Melody Woodin is the featured model in an eleven page layout in the January 2008 edition of Marie Claire! In an editorial spread,"Fashion Fresh Start", Melody appears in neutral clothing and accessories by Helmut Lang, DKNY, Giorgio Armani, Forever 21, Chloe, Celine, Lanvin, and Versace! Melody competed at IMTA in 2004 and won Model of the Year. She signed with the prestigious international modeling agency Women Management. She is also represented by Nathalie in Paris. She is a favorite runway, editorial and commercial model. Melody has modeled for some of the most highly influential and highly respected fashion designers in the world such as: Christian Dior, Badgley Mischka, Marc Jacobs, Oscar De La Renta, Luca Luca and appeared in a print ad for the Biore facial products.

That IMTA Blog will be on hiatus until mid-January...it's time for the next amazing IMTA Convention! We will be in Los Angeles with all the new models and actors who are competing, learning and meeting managers, agents, and casting directors.
